Summary

Charlie is a registered nurse with a wide range of clinical experience from various areas of practice including acute (inpatient and community); substance abuse; operational services and safeguarding. He has a keen interest in multi-agency and partnership working; as well as leadership and working with high levels of complexity where issues around capacity and safeguarding may be evident. Charlie teaches into a wide range of modules across the School of Health and Social Care and has recently taken a lead in redesigning a safeguarding curriculum across the course. He is module lead for the new Level 6 module, Transition to Practice (Registered Nurse), and is co-module lead for the Level 7 Maternal Mental Health & Recovery module.

Charlie is currently redesigning the taught content of the new safeguarding curriculum and is also heavily involved in developing international links between SHU and Brock University, Canada.
