As part of our conversion to Opta, we are now able present shot-level xG within our match reports. All current and historical matches from our competitions with advanced data (xG Explained on FBref) will now have shot-level xG and post-shot xG presented within the shot summary.
For instance, here are all of the shots from the November 7th, Real Madrid-Rayo Vallecano match.

We will continue to expand our use of xG on the site as we continue our partnership with StatsPerform Opta.

By the nature of our update process these will take a week or two to roll out to the site, but they'll get there eventually. This note below is from one of our data producers and represent a set of updates we'll be incorporating into the site.
One of the great aspects of the baseball research community is their dogged determination to get things right even it is a mixup between Tom Maher and Frank Mahar in 1902.

In anticipation of the playoffs kicking off tomorrow, here's a reminder that you can use the Pro-Football-Reference Play Index to search for playoff games from the past and present.
The Player Game Finder will return all individual games that meet the criteria you select. Try searching for the most yards from scrimmage in a playoff game (Keith Lincoln alert), or use the "Cumulative Season Games" and "Cumulative Multi-Season Games" modifiers to group multiple playoff games in the same postseason or find career leaders.
Meanwhile, the Team Game Finder can help you find team playoff games under various criteria, like the most pass attempts in a playoff game or the biggest point differential by a team that trailed at some point in a postseason game.
You can get the most recent results the morning after the games are played, so by Sunday we should have Saturday's results loaded in. Just be sure to set "Game Type" to "Playoffs" on each tool, and have fun!

Just a reminder -- we released a couple of really cool features last week that you might have missed the first time around:

- Men’s Olympic Basketball Section - A new section of the site with stats, rosters, and results from every men's Olympic basketball tournament since 1936.
Enjoy, and be sure to let us know any more suggestions you might have via email.
