Not sure if anyone reads the Div-2 page any more, but here goes with one last attempt in case. So, reference to Portsmouth v Crawley yesterday. The teams started 8th & 9th so potentially a good game in prospect. But it turned out very different to expectation: The first half for Portsmouth was outstanding, 3 shots on goal, 3 goals. Great attacking play and everyone giving 100%. Crawley were not poor, Portsmouth were just very very good. Second half was less entertaining but the damage had already been done. Great to see we have a top-class (for Div-2) keeper at least, Burgess at the back was also awesome. Credit to whole team for level of skill and fight. Largest crowd of the day by far in the whole of Div-1 & Div-2. So well done guys 🙂

I sometimes look in here but like you say, there’s not a lot of life in it. Occasionally like to nip in to general chat to rattle the cages of the “big boys”, which can be a laugh.
Otherwise I look at Fansonline sometimes, but it can just be a load of mates bitching at each other with a token brain dead scummer for good measure .Hi Kingo. Shame this website went downhill when they restructured it a few years ago. Great game today, even better than last week 🙂
I got totally pied out with this shadow of its former self in the last days of August but if Richard and Kingo are here I will, ss the old testament says gird up my loins and continue.
So Wycombe came to play us at football and not park any buses. Their two goals were top draw and when Wood hit the err Woodwork they should have been 2 up. But this season we don’t do a Morcambe we play and attack (that’s the difference) and ran out worthy winners.
Pompey not only have grit and players who want to put their bodies on the line (apart from Michael Smith) for the moment but flair, Naismith, Conor and a decent keeper. For now this ship seems in good hands with a winning crew, roll on Accy 3 points would be a promotion marker IMHO at this early stage.
BTW Ana and I will be over from Italy for the Notts County game if you guys fancy a pint.
Teamtalk are not aware there is life outside the Premiership (other than Leeds) not it’s not surprising the L1 and L2 pages have died. Big shame as the L1 page at least used to be very active.
