A good deal on a flagship smartwatch might be something like $100 off but Samsung will give you Galaxy Watch 6 completely free.
In a classic buy one get one free (BOGOF) offer, you can get a second Galaxy Watch 6 when you buy one from the official Samsung store. There’s no need for a promo code or similar and there are almost no terms and conditions.
The deal is available on both 40- and 44mm models of the Watch 6 smartwatch and you can select Bluetooth and Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE versions with a choice of colours and straps – saving you up to $379.99.
Update 13 May: Although Samsung’s original Mother’s Day Special deal has ended, you can still add a second Galaxy Watch 6 for free. You’ll find it under the ‘Limited time bundle offers’ section. The deal isn’t working at the time of writing (12pm ET) – it shows fine on the page but the basket then charges for both – but a Samsung Expert via the chat function told me “I’m sorry, due to technical issue the free watch is getting charged, please try after 2-3 hours. We have escalated the issue to our team and they will resolve it soon.”

There are only really two small caveats to consider…
The first, and it’s understandable, is that if you choose two different Watch 6 models, the cheapest one will be free.
The other is that it appears the offer isn’t compatible with trade-in credit so you can’t, for example, get two 40mm Watch 6 devices for $99 by trading in an Apple Watch Series 8.
A third thing to bear in mind which isn’t a caveat to the deal is that Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 7 in July.
You might want to wait for the newer model and the upgrades it brings. The Galaxy Watch 6 will likely drop in price once it’s the old model but this buy one get one free deal is still a hot bargain.
We awarded the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 four stars in our full review.
If you’re more keen on the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, then Samsung is offering a $250 instant trade-in credit towards the device and it has $80 off as well.
