Adidas has announced a new pair of wireless earbuds in collaboration with Grammy-nominated artist Quavo but only the fastest fingers will be able to snag a pair of Z.N.E. 01 ANC Quavo.
That’s because these are “truly one for fans” with just 150 pairs of the headphones available worldwide. The Z.N.E. 01 ANC Quavo are on sale now via the Adidas official store priced at £180.
It’s the only place to buy them, although we wouldn’t be surprised if some appear on eBay before long.
Those who do manage to purchase the special edition buds will get a set with a unique number, not unlike a limited batch release of rare whisky. The Nothing Ear (1) earbuds also saw a limited pre-sale drop numbered 1-100.
The case design features handwritten lyrics from his unreleased album, ‘Cheat Code’ which will arrive this summer.
This unique design isn’t limited to the case either as the earbuds sport the rapper’s moniker ‘Quavo Huncho’ on the left and ‘Cheat Code’ on the right. Once again, in silver handwriting.
Adidas hasn’t given much away in terms of specs and features, but the presence of active noise cancelling (ANC) is clear from the wireless earbuds’ name. The Z.N.E. 01 ANC Quavo also offer 20 hours of playtime.
The firm says the headphones are “built to meet the demands of training routines and everyday life with tenacity” and “focus on sports and an active lifestyle at their heart” so we assume they at least have an IPX4 water resistance or higher.
Sound good? Well, make sure you hop over to Adidas pronto before these limited headphones sell out.
