The World’s Digital Insurance Awards 2022 will showcase some of the most innovative projects in the insurance industry. We are looking for innovation projects unlocking value in all parts of the insurance value chain, as well creating new sources of value through new digital business models, across Asia Pacific, EMEA and the Americas. The top 3 projects of each region will qualify for the Global Insurance Innovation Award.

How to apply

The Insurance Innovation Awards are open to established insurers & reinsurers who are proud of their digital innovations. To qualify for the Insurer Innovation Awards, insurers need to submit details of an innovation project that was launched within the past 12 months. Insurers can submit any number of entries in their respective region. Entries must be submitted through the TDI website by the applicable deadline (see regional deadlines below). Nominees must submit a pptx presentation of not more than 12 slides and (optional) a video presentation. Entrants will attend a virtual regional awards event if selected as a regional finalist. All award entries will be published online to give all applicants exposure for their innovations. Regional winners will be publicised and, proceed to compete in the Global Insurer Innovation Awards, later in the year.

What makes a winner?

All qualifying applications will receive exposure through TDI. For the regional awards, a panel of industry experts will shortlist 3 finalists for live presentations at the regional awards event and TDI members will vote for the regional winner. Each regional winner will compete for the Global Insurer Innovation Awards in December 2022 which will again be voted for by TDI members to determine the overall winner.
