When you have a voice like Charlie Wilson and you're feeling patriotic ... you just let the National Anthem fly -- even in the middle of LAX.
When we saw The Gap Band singer ... dude just felt like singing, and launched into the "Star-Spangled Banner" in front of an audience lined up for TSA ... and it was, pardon the phrase ... outstanding.
Unlike most NFL playing fields these days ... everyone stood, some even put hand over heart.
