Nicole Eggert Says Scott Baio's Crisis Manager is Tormenting Her
Nicole Eggert Scott Baio's Crisis Manager is Tormenting Me
Nicole Eggert ran to court Monday for a restraining order against Scott Baio's crisis manager, claiming he's been conducting a smear campaign against her online, calling her "mentally ill and unstable."
According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Eggert claims since November, Brian Glicklich "publicly harasses me online and in the media. He threatens to ruin my reputation, career and constantly makes libel (sic) comments about my mental health."
She says Glicklich has told her she "will pay" for going after Scott, claiming he sexually abused her when she was minor. The D.A. has investigated and declined to prosecute citing the statute of limitations.
Eggert says she's now seeking therapy for emotional distress because of Glicklich's comments. She says, "Victim shaming is a horrible thing to do to someone."
She was asking the judge to ban Glicklich from making any comments about her on social media, but the judge rejected her request, citing the First Amendment. The judge did order Glicklich to stay 100 yards away from Eggert and stop harassing her.
We reached out to Glicklich, who told us, "Nicole Eggert's efforts to silence my work on behalf of Scott Baio is wrongheaded and based on the judge's order was dead in the water."
