I’ve covered Cyber Monday laptop deals for 10 years — these are the best sales you can still get

Cyber Monday is over but some of the biggest discounts of the year are still available

Best Cyber Monday laptop deals

Cyber Monday has come and gone for another year, but the deals haven't disappeared with it. I've been covering Black Friday and Cyber Monday for years now so I know the deals don't stop for days yet. While we may not see some of the best laptops get cheaper than they were at the weekend, these sales still beat full price.

Why are there still deals? Well, if I can get nerdy for a second, it comes down to stock allocation. To prepare for the weekend, laptop makers will put a certain number of items to one side ready to sell at the lower price. If they have plenty left, that cost will stay down slightly to shift the final few.

We are seeing some price cuts across the board, including the Dell Inspiron 16 coming in at a $749 price tag but with 32GB of RAM over 16GB. You can also still grab the HP EliteBook 845 for $675, which isn't as good as the $495 we saw it listed at earlier, but it's still a $1,803 off the regular price.

Over in the UK, prices are remaining steady with the M4 MacBook Pro ar £150 off, and my favorite Chromebook from Acer staying at its lowest price.

So put simply, if you feel like you've missed the boat, fear not — there's still a lot of deals to be had.

A lot of the MacBook deals have, unfortunately, dried up as Cyber Monday comes to an end — but here's one that hasn't. The MacBook Pro with an M4 Pro chip is still discounted by 10% at Amazon, saving you $200.

Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus review unit on a desk

If you need a great laptop for not a lot of money, grab a Chromebook. Specifically, this Chromebook that Best Buy still has on sale for $130 off!

I'm talking about the Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus, a nice little 2-in-1 with a 14-inch 1200p touchscreen, a comfy keyboard and a decent screen. You can rotate the screen around 360 degrees, too, so you can tent it on a desk to watch movies or flatten it to hold it like a giant Chrome tablet. It's great for remote learning or research, and somehow it's still on sale (and in stock!) for Cyber Monday.

You can still get the latest MacBook Pro M4 for $250 off

MacBook Pro 14-inch M4

The MacBook Pro M4 just came out a few weeks ago and it's already hundreds of dollars off at Amazon this weekend, which is why most of them have sold out by now.

It's a killer deal, and there's one model left in stock: The MacBook Pro M4 Pro with 24GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for $1,749, which is $250 off the usual $1,999 asking price.

These are amazing laptops that can go all day and tackle any task, so don't miss your chance to snag this deal if you want one!

Get 2TB of extra storage for $70 off

SanDisk Extreme SSD

I've been covering laptops for over a decade and buying them all my life, and I've always preferred to invest in a great external SSD instead of buying a laptop with a big hard drive.

That's because you get portable storage at a price that fits you, instead of paying Dell or HP or whoever what they think SSD storage is worth. And right now you can get more space for your laptop at a steal, because Amazon is knocking $70 off the price of a new 2TB Sandisk portable SSD!

The new Dell XPS 13 is great and on sale for $300 off

Dell XPS 14 (2024)

If you or someone you love needs a long-lasting Windows 11 ultraportable, look no farther than the svelte Dell XPS 13, which is still $300 off at Dell!

The beefiest Black Friday gaming laptop deal is still available

Alienware m18 R2 with Tom's Guide Cyber Monday badge

One of my favorite gaming laptop deals from Friday is still over at Dell, and it knocks $1,000 off a brand-new Alienware m18 R2 with a top-of-the-line Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU inside.

On top of that you get a 14th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU, 64GB of RAM and 4TB of SSD storage. It's sure to run your favorite games at great framerates, and they should look great on the 18-inch FHD+ 480Hz display!

Act fast and snag a MacBook Air M2 for under $800

MacBook Air M2

All the MacBooks are still on sale for Cyber Monday, and if you're looking to score a great deal on a new laptop and don't care about the latest and greatest, I recommend you snag yourself a MacBook Air M2 while they're under $800.

The MacBook Air M2 is a bit over two years old at this point, which means you get the savings of buying an older model yet still get plenty of power and battery life thanks to the M2 chip. And while the 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage aren't amazing, they're more than enough for getting work done, browsing the web and watching videos on the lovely 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display.

Is it time to go Chrome?

HP Chromebook 14

From a value perspective, it's hard to beat a Chromebook. They come with decent specs and OS that can leverage those specs and make them feel far more powerful than they actually are.

This Chromebook from HP comes with an N1000 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It won't rival a gaming laptop for anything like that, but with this ridiculous deal from Best Buy bringing it down to $129, it's more than worth getting if you've often thought about going Chromebook.

Dude, you're getting a Dell

Dell Inspiron

Save $1,900....wait what?!

HP EliteBook 845

There are just some Cyber Monday deals that make you do a spit take, and this is one of them. Right now HP is selling the HP EliteBook 845 for just $495, which is $1,982 off the regular price. That seems like a crazy discount, but here's what you get.

For the $495 price the HP EliteBook 845 business laptop packs an AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 32GB of RAM and 512GB of storage — plus AMD Radeon 740 M graphics — which are pretty solid specs for the money.

The 14-inch display has an anti-glare coating and you get 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, 2 USB-A ports, HDMI and an audio jack. There's also a fairly sharp 5MP camera on board.

You don't often see new MacBooks go on sale this early but right now the brand new MacBook Pro 14-inch M4 is on sale for Cyber Monday with a really good $200 discount.

I did the MacBook Pro M4 review for Tom's Guide and I'm using the system right now to do our Cyber Monday deals coverage, and this beast has kept up with juggling tons of Chrome tabs, Pixelmator for editing photos and more.

You get a vivid 14.2-inch screen, a sharper 12MP webcam with Center Stage and over 17 hours of battery life in our testing. Enough said.

The MSI Katana 15 is a gaming laptop with most of the bells and whistles at a reasonable price. It has a mighty Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, the speedy Intel Core i7-13620H CPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD — perfect specs for playing the latest and greatest PC games. Sure, it could have a 4080, but it wouldn't be on sale for $1,299 if it did.

The screen is another feature of this laptop that stands out — a 16-inch QHD+ 165Hz display that will make your games look great. That 165Hz refresh rate is enormous for speed and performance, and the size and resolution will make everything look sharp.

HP EliteBook 840 Aero G8 in bag

So stick with me, because I've just found arguably the deal of Cyber Monday right here. The HP EliteBook may be a rather unassuming business laptop in its utilitarian build, but it's the spec inside here and (most importantly) the price that matters.

Inside, you've got an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO CPU, a 1TB SSD and a whopping 32GB of DDR5 RAM. This is a stacked spec list for productivity and serious multitasking.

And right now, HP is knocking a whole $2,333 off the list price!

This Cyber Monday laptop deal is sus... Let's talk about it

jumper laptop deal

So I spend a lot of time telling you about all the laptop deals you should buy, but what about those you should not go for?

Well allow me to introduce you to the jumper Laptop. $239 with an additional 10% coupon? Not too shabby, so what's the problem?

Well there are 3 red flags for me:

  • Intel Celery (on): If you know what you're getting it for, this can be OK for casual productivity, but you can get more for your money.
  • 12GB of RAM!? Super red flag here. 6GB RAM sticks do exist, but they have not been around for a long time. Something tells me you won't actually get 12, and let's face it, with a Celeron processor, that extra headroom is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard.
  • Jumper jumping into my red flag: Jumper has been around the block, I know. But Cyber Monday is a good chance to actually save big on reputable brands. I've put one just below you should get instead.

Alienware m18 R2

If you've been waiting for a sale season to pick up one of the most powerful gaming laptops on the planet, now is the time. The Alienware m18 R2 is a true beast and you can get $1,000 off the top spec!

Now, just saying "top spec" doesn't do it justice. Keeping games running at their absolute smoothest on that drop dead gorgeous 18-inch panel with 480Hz refresh rate is an Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU, RTX 4090 GPU, a whopping 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 4TB SSD for storing all the games you could possibly want.

MacBook Air M2

MacBook Air M2 front

If you're curious about MacBook deals, why not start with the MacBook Air M2 for just $749? I have this exact laptop as my work computer, and it works a charm. It can run Photoshop, Audacity, and other high-performing apps simultaneously without a hiccup and puts up with my short temper. For just $749, this is a fantastic bargain.

HP Victus 15

Don't be scared of RTX 4050. It may be a base GPU, but you'll be surprised at just what it can do. I tested it with Dragon Age: The Veilguard and got impressive numbers with great graphical clarity!

That all comes down to its DLSS 3.5 superpower — giving you big performance at a fraction of the power demand. That's what makes this saving even more impressive!

HP Victus 15 (RTX 4050)
HP Victus 15 (RTX 4050): was $1,099 now $664 at Walmart

Right now, you can get $439 off this mighty base-level gaming laptop! Inside, you get an Intel Core i5-13420H CPU, RTX 4050, 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD. With DLSS, this is more power than you'd imagine.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge

Keeping on the Snapdragon X train for the US, I've found a sterling special that is well worth your month. The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge is a gorgeous aluminum-shelled system packed with X Plus chipset, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.

Pretty solid base spec, right? Well at $699, this just became a must buy ($200 off)!

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge: was $899 now $699 @ Amazon

Did you know that some laptops actually get cheaper during Cyber Monday? I mentioned this before, but it all comes down to the stocking of them. If a company has a load left, they'll bring the price down further to get rid of them. That's where this extra $20 off the HP Chromebook 14 comes in — a new lowest price!

This HP Chromebook is a great low-cost choice for a lot of people. With an N1000 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage. It's not going to be a workhorse PC, but if you largely check emails, stream Netflix shows and write documents, this will do it all.

The Asus Vivobook S 15 was my first exposure to Snapdragon X Elite horsepower, and I fell in love with its performance and power efficiency — along with that great keyboard and OLED display.

Now, in the UK, you can £400 off (even though Currys neglects to tell you its actually a discount)!

This is an insanely low price on one of my favorite Copilot+ PCs. The Asus Vivobook S15 packs a Snapdragon X Elite processor for that raw horsepower and power efficiency, alongside 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Plus that OLED panel is a stunner.

I've got some good news for you! Microsoft is spooked. By that I mean they're taking a look at the $844 M3 MacBook Air and freaking out.

In a bid to outdo Apple, you can grab the fantastic Surface Laptop 7 with Snapdragon X Plus for just $799!

Welcome to Cyber Monday! We start with my favorite gaming laptop being heavily discounted. The Asus TUF Gaming A14 is the perfect combination of raw performance, power efficiency and portability.

Normally, gaming laptops have the battery life that lasts until...well the end of this sentence. But with over 9 hours in our testing, this one blew us away. Add in AMD Ryzen AI 9 CPU and RTX 4060 GPU for company and this can really go.
