My experience at the hotel was extremely wonderful. The environment is perfect, very pleasant, and super well maintained. The hotel facilities are very clean, all the staff are very friendly, saying “Good morning” when you meet them halfway or always ready to offer you the best service. The beach is small but super well looked after and very clean… there is no rubbish on the ground. Just shells! The hotel has two swimming pools with very beautiful views, two restaurants with very good food options!!! Wonderful breakfast with lots of bread and fruit options! Not to mention the kindness of the team to serve you a complimentary soft drink and fruit every day so you can enjoy the beach and pool but feel at home! The rooms are quite spacious, well maintained and extremely clean every day. The spa is incredible with many care options so you can relax and enjoy your vacation without leaving the hotel. Remember to ask the hotel about the best season to enjoy sea water, as it is very clean and light blue ❤️🥹

This hotel is highly recommended, even for discerning international guests. We felt very comfortable throughout and would have liked to have stayed longer. Very friendly and well-trained staff, exceptionally good cuisine and a very nice, clean and well-kept area. The sea view villas are top quality and very well equipped. We had a problem extending our booking and the very friendly General Manager took care of it personally and solved the problem quickly, easily and to our complete satisfaction. Thanks a lot for this! There really isn't anything to complain about here at the Hotel Amiana, which is why we give it 5 stars, which we rarely award otherwise! A great highlight of our Vietnam trip! A big thank you to the entire staff, you guys are great! ;)

A most pleasant surprise! The first impression isn't much: The hotel lobby is decorated with cheap-quality rattan furniture, and it isn't even air-conditioned. However, the room turns out to be very nice: Well equipped with all the basic comforts one would need, including a frig, good-connection Wi-Fi, a reclining rattan sofa with ottoman, bath robe, plus a small balcony with a coffee table and two chairs and a good view of the South China Sea. The location of the hotel is also quite nice, lots of restaurants and coffee shops around, and a 5-minute walk to the beach and water front. The staff is most friendly, and try their very best to be helpful, even though most of them do not understand English too well. The electrical outlets near the desk aren't designed properly, but the problem is fixed soonest I have informed the Front Desk. Breakfast is average, but fair enough. Just two minor negative points: 1) Breakfast is until 09:30, but they staff would start turning off both the lights as well as air-conditioning at around 09:15 even though there are still guests eating; and 2) the Laundry List is in both Vietnamese and Russian, no English! It is apparent that the hotel must have housed lots of Russian guests in the past, but perhaps now is the time to have English included as well. All in all, a great value for the money; I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Service was first class. The staff were proud to be working for the Sheraton and the brand itself, which is what you want to hear from them. I had the pleasure of dealing with a young gentleman named Ethan and he was pleasant in manner, anticipated my needs before I even communicated them, ensured I was happy and provides solutions to any queries I had. Upon checking in, I had previously checked out earlier in the day (flight delayed until the next day) and mentioned I had left my swimming shorts in my previous room. The check-in staff said that they would contact housekeeping and see if they could be found. I then checked in and went to my room to discover that it was a connected room with access to the next room via a door. Unfortunately, this lead to noise travelling from my neighbours room. I went to reception and was met by Ethan who then gave me another room, it was an upgrade to a nicer room on a higher floor. Not only that, I asked about my swim shorts and was told that they had been found, they would be laundered and dried before being returned to me. I said that it was fine, I could just take them and they would dry on the balcony, to which Ethan enthusiastically replied, ”Sir, this is the Sheraton!”. It is so nice to hear such words from staff and to know that you're in the hands of people that care and take pride in their work.

Loved this hotel. Great location next to the beach and bars and restaurants. Hotel staff go above and beyond to help you and are so very friendly. Reception did all they could to make our stay so perfect. We stayed 10 nights. The food in the restaurant was delicious we had breakfast which was plentiful, fresh and great quality. Lunch by the pool which was fabulous and a 3 course dinner in the restaurant one night which was really top quality. Our room was really large and comfortable with the most amazing view of the ocean and islands beyond. We did swop rooms as we wanted a bigger balcony and the reception were so helpful showing us other choices. Loved this place and would love to return

The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. Many of the furnishings are hand-carved and very exquisite. The service is also very good. Whether you are ordering a meal in the room, or adding some ice cubes or water, it will be delivered within five minutes of making a phone call. I didn’t bring any cash with me this time, and I didn’t tip the housekeeper or the waiter, but no one gave me a bad look during the whole process, and the service was excellent👍 On the last day of departure, the housekeeper came to check the refrigerator and saw that a bottle of Coke was missing. I asked my family if they had any drinks, but everyone said no. I was a little unhappy, thinking that the hotel was deliberately looking for trouble, and even said a few unpleasant words to the housekeeper. Later, my mother said that she drank coke. She thought I asked her if she had drank coffee in the morning, so she answered no 🙈🙈 Diep, the housekeeper in our room, was really enthusiastic. He would come over every time and ask if there was anything he needed. He would always care for our family when he saw me near the lobby. Even though I was wronged when I finally left, he was not unhappy at all. He prepared a lot of bread and fruits for us, and kept smiling and waving when we left on the boat. Bye, I’m so touched 👍

Nous avons obtenu un appartement beaucoup plus grand que prévu, face à la mer, afin de pouvoir effectuer le check-in plus tôt que prévu et cela sans aucun frais supplémentaire, seulement par gentillesse, car l'un d'entre nous était malade et que nous avions passé la nuit dans les transports 🙏 Heri, tu nous manques déjà !! 🥰

Overall, 10/10 The island, the accommodation, staff, everything is really good. We loved the pool & the shore, but I recommend everyone to buy breakfast & dinner, so you won’t have to think about it. They have room service, food is good but not as good as the buffet. Also: book the room with VinWonders tickets, it’s a great deal <3

I recently had a stay at Hon Tam resort and I'm deeply dissatisfied with my experience. There were three main issues that left me highly disappointed: 1. Firstly, the resort is located on an island, and when I tried to arrange a boat trip myself, the security staff prevented the boat from docking and interrogated me about my whereabouts and activities. They even questioned why I would use outside services when staying at the resort. Initially, I thought it was a restrictive policy, but I agreed not to proceed to follow the resort's policy. However, when I wanted to pay the boat driver, the security staff still wouldn't allow the boat to approach for payment. After that, other resort staffs came and informed me that I can go and do what I want but I had to report and register my every move, as it was a resort regulation. This made me feel like I was in a military base rather than a relaxing resort. Despite receiving an apology from the resort management about the securiy guy's behavior, I still found the experience to be extremely unpleasant, especially for my mother who is over 60 years old and felt frightened. The resort's regulations regarding guest privacy and the intrusive nature of their inquiries were unreasonable and made me feel like I was under surveillance rather than enjoying a vacation. Beside that, the security guy treated me like a criminal than a customer. 2. Secondly, while my mother was sleeping, she was disturbed by some kind of animal, possibly a snake, crawling onto her, that made her couldn't sleep any more. I understand that the resort is surrounded by nature, and encountering snakes outside is somewhat expected. However, having a snake enter a closed room is completely unacceptable from a construction perspective. This incident raised concerns about the resort's standards and safety. 3. Thirdly, I observed a lack of consistency in the resort's management. I was informed that I could charge the mud bath service to my room and settle the payment upon check-out. However, when I went to purchase the mud bath ticket without cash, the staff refused to allow me to charge it to my room. I had to return to my room to retrieve cash before I could purchase the ticket. This was a significant waste of time. It's essential for the resort to ensure consistent information and management practices to provide a convenient and reliable experience for their guests. Despite these issues, I must commend the resort for its peaceful atmosphere, natural surroundings on the island, and the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the front desk, service, and electric vehicle staff. They were adorable and provided excellent support. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I had previously visited this resort and enjoyed its tranquility and natural beauty, which is why I brought my mother for a relaxing getaway. The staff at the Intercontinental are friendly, Kind and so helpful and all the staff we encountered during our week long stay deserve a 5* rating! Special mention goes to MI our waitress at breakfast every morning for being so lovely and caring and looking after our needs. 🙏💕🤗 Am being honest with my feedback in saying that the rooms could definitely use a revamp as they feel quite dated and not up to 5 star standard we would expect from the Intercontinental brand. Message to Management, please install a professional coffee machine in the breakfast room as the coffee we were provided with on the first morning of our stay was just awful! 😢
