The Old Town Square at the heart of the city was built about 900 years ago as the most famous square in Prague's history. The surrounding architecture has many diverse styles, with masterpieces of Gothic architecture such as the Church and the Baroque St. Nicholas Church. The Tynem Church is located on the side of the Old Town Square as one of the most representative buildings in the Old Town of Prague. It has been the main church in the area since the 14th century. The Prague Astronomical Bell is a medieval astronomical clock installed on the south wall of the Old Town Hall in Prague's Old Square. The Powder Tower is a Gothic gate in the Old Town of Prague built in 1475. It was named because it was used to store gunpowder. It was once the only way for the monarch to be crowned. As one of the first 13 gates in Prague, it is also the only one that has survived. As one of the Prague's landmark buildings, it is totally black seen from afar. But when you look closely, you will find it is decorated with beautiful reliefs, mostly in the topic of Bohemian monarchs, and the Czech guardian statue. he Dancing House,or the Nedlanden National Insurance Building, is the iconic avant-garde building in the new district of Prague. It was designed by the famous architects Brado Milunic and Frank Gehry in 1996, known by its twisted "dancing" shape as a beautiful symbol on the banks of the Vltava.
