Fujin street, located in the Minsheng area of Neihu District, is a famous boulevard in Taipei. Because of the tall and shady trees, arty cafes, and creative businesses along the street, it has become known as "Europe in Taipei". Fujin street has thus also become a popular location for many movies (including Blue Gate Crossing, Taipei Exchanges and Turn Left, Turn Right), TV dramas (including Police et Vous, Love You/While We Were Drunk), and MVs and the like. One of the most popular coffee houses on Fujin street is the Flower Cafe, which was made popular by the movie "Taipei Exchanges". This welcoming coffee house has been kept the same since the film was made. Its blue gate, fresh décor, and exclusive daily desserts are almost the same as in the movie.

The so-called "Wen-Luo-Ting" is shorthand for the block bordered by Wenzhou Street, Roosevelt Road, and Tingzhou Street. The area is extremely well located just behind the National Taiwan University and National Taiwan Normal University and is brimming with budding talent; it has become well known for its free and open atmosphere. It is said that there are more than 40 independent bookstores in Wen-Luo-Ting, and its has become Taipei’s literary treasure-house, with gems that include Fem Books (the first women's bookstore for Chinese literature), the Queer Bookstore (the first gay bookstore), Tonsan Books (selling left-wing ideological, artistic, and historical books), Mollie’s Used Books (with authentic products from second-hand bookstores), Rare Books (which specializes in antiquarian books and collectible second-hand volumes) and more besides. Surrounded by books and coffee, this is the best place to experience the beauty of Taipei's lanes and streets, and there is no better place to spend an idyllic afternoon.

Chifeng Street is next to MRT Zhongshan Station and used to be the famous “Blacksmith Street”. In recent years, many ingenious cultural and creative shops have settled here as they attempt to seek new artistic space in an old environment. People who prefer design and cultural creation must be familiar with “Mogu” who designs organic cotton T-shirts and bags, sells stationery, and also runs the “Mogu Hand Sticker” magazine. There is a “Mogu” branch on Chifeng Street. “Taiwan’s Shop” that is right to “Mogu” sells handicrafts from all over Taiwan, and a Chinese named shop called “Wares” exhibits a variety of exquisite utensils which give you a kind of warm and restful feeling. Taibei Spot Cinema is also located near Chifeng Street and was formerly known as the Spot Taipei of the US Consulate. Fuxing South Road is the best place to have a late night supper and many congee and small dish restaurants gather here. The most famous time-honored brands here are “Yiliu”, “Xiaolizi” and “Wumin”, with nearly 24-hour service. Congee and small dishes used to be a kind of traditional breakfast in Taiwan. The trend of night congee emerged later on. Congee refers to the congee which only uses sweet potato, and various small dishes include braised tofu, egg yolk meat, braised bitter gourd and salted egg, as well as meat pine, etc. You can also order all kinds of fried eggs and poached green vegetables.
