Nagasaki Castella of Izumiya uses strictly fresh and uncontaminated eggs from Nagasaki, mountain spring water, and flour and sugar. Fukusaya is the most famous Nagasaki Castella in Japan. It used to be a store selling rice and sugar, but After the Portuguese passed on their technique, Fukusaya became the first store to make castella. It now has 300-400 years of history, and has several branches in Nagasaki. Aside from the best-selling castella, Fukusaya also has sugar cakes and waffles. Hakusuidou was established in 1887, and has more than 100 years of history. It offers a variety of Japanese desserts, such as matcha cakes, swiss rolls, milk shakes, bean paste jelly fruit, small rice balls and others. All are made by them. The peach cake in the store is loved by customers, big peach cakes are also available. A box of 3 peach cakes is JP 1080 yen. Also are udon meals, including dessert and peach cake with coffee.
