Well, the “Desert” word reminds you of two things, one is Camels, and the other is cactus. Australian Outbacks has a dry red sandy plain desert called Munga – Thirri National Park or the Simpson Desert. It is situated in central Australia. The name Munga-Thirri national park was formerly known as Simpson desert national park. This is one of the largest protected national parks in Queensland Australia. The desert view completely looks like a red carpet while you have a blooming dune welcoming you. People visit Poeppel's Corner for a photograph of Australian outback south Australia and northern territory meet. And also there are 4 sections in this park wherein you can walk, drive, hike, and camp. If you love to trek here, the high point would be 20 Kilometer, and you will return back through the main gorge at polkas stop, and this way is the base for the gorge to Big bend. This is one of the magical experiences in Cobbold gorge, which shares a beautiful part of gulf savannah. The things to look in Porcupine gorge national parks are towering cliffs of colored sandstone, pockets of vine forest, and deep permanent water holes. One can go for a walk on the pyramid track for 2.4 km which leads to the bottom of the gorge. The campground also provides conventional vehicles like trailers, caravans, and buses. Don’t forget to carry a Binoculars, as you can spot some wild animals coming near the water source. At the bottom, it’s a rock pool that connects to the rushing river when it starts raining in the wet season.
