It's fair to say Bali is one of the most famous tourist islands in the world. Many famous international stars have chosen it as a wedding, honeymoon or holiday destination. One of Bali's nicknames is “Romantic Paradise Island.” Bali is not only romantic, but also a good place to go shopping!
Featuring the widest range of top brands, the DFS Duty Free Shop is the largest duty-free shop in Bali. For many of the goods sold here, this is the only place in Bali where they can be bought. The DFS Duty Free Shop features major international fashion brands such as Bulgari, Coach, Dior, and Swarovski. It also sells the world-renowned Absolut Vodka which uses winter wheat to produce a smooth flavor. Each bottle is distilled hundreds of times before it becomes Absolut. In addition to major international brands, there are many souvenir products with strong local characteristics. Some of the items worth buying include wood and stone carvings, all kinds of paintings, exquisite handmade gold and silver jewelry, masks, batik fabrics, coffee beans, curry powders, dried shrimp slices, and essential oils. All of these are appropriate for either personal use or as gifts to friends and relatives.
The Discovery Shopping Center is the most modern and fashionable shopping mall in the Kuta area of Bali. Modern in design and fully equipped, it attracts a large number of tourists to come shopping every day. Some internationally renowned brands and various trendy products can be found here. The department stores in the mall include the Sogo Department Store, Centro, and Batik Keris. Batik Keris is a good place to purchase quality Indonesian batik products. Fashion stores include Polo, Oshkosh, Nautica, DC, Bamboo Blonde, Hurley, La Senza, Guess, Esprit and more. It is worth mentioning that this shopping mall is built right next to the beach. As soon as you leave the mall, you are faced with the endless beach and the sea. The environment is beautiful and gives people the opportunity to enjoy shopping while also enjoying Bali’s beautiful views.
Covering an area of 8 hectares and integrating shopping, leisure, dining and entertainment, the Bali Shopping Center is the largest, best and most luxurious shopping mall in the Nusa Dua area. The shopping center contains international and local luxury fashion brands and the personal shopper area has clearly marked sections for children's wear, menswear, women's fashion, sportswear and surf clothing. Brands at the mall include Cool Kids, Surfer Girl, Hurley, Levi's, Pink Eleven, Polo, D&G and more. Garuda Indonesia Airlines and Karang Mas currency exchange points are also available on site. Combining modernity and tradition, the shopping center retains the original natural scenery of Bali on top of these modern facilities. At the same time, in order to liven up the atmosphere, it puts on regular live performances by choirs and Latin bands, injecting a bit of the joy of music into visitors.
The Matahari Department Store and some of the shops around it form a beachfront shopping arcade with various international brands such as KFC, McDonald's and Pizza Hut. The first floor has a supermarket and specialty crafts shop. It has every kind of makeup, sunscreen, food, fruit, and handicrafts you could wish for. You can buy souvenirs such as bath salts, soap made with essential oil, and wood carvings. The second floor is for cosmetics and women's wear; the third floor is for menswear; the fourth floor is for children's products and also has a bookstore. At this department store, you can buy a variety of clothing and accessories including traditional Indonesian clothing. As night falls, just outside the main entrance of the Matahari Department Store, a night market with many food and drink stalls opens up. You can get all kinds of things, and it's well worth coming and visiting.
