4-Star Hotels in Rayong Province, Thailand

I don't remember, but I booked 2 rooms because there were 2 adults (parents) and 1 child (daughter), so I booked 2 rooms and requested a room with a connecting door. However, the staff informed me that the room type I booked did not have a connecting door and had to be a Deluxe room. I understood the reason, so I requested to change to a Deluxe room. The staff informed me of the full sale price and would not refund the reservation. What I felt was that the staff did not care to show their understanding of the needs and/or present alternatives that matched the needs that the customer had initially stated.

For friends who have plans to come to Rayong or come to run errands around here We recommend this place as another accommodation chain like IHG with the concept of Simple Smart Travel, which of course will have the Brand Standard of Holiday Inn Express easily accessible. And I'm sure it's good. Whether it's the room, the smell, good bedding, comfortable sleep, and comes with complete facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, children's pool, Kids Club, Fitness, meeting room, the restaurant is at the back of the building. The lobby offers All Day Dining, including a buffet line breakfast.

-10/10 for the room, location, and cleanliness with nice city view of the city. -1/10 for Seevices. PM staff at the reception looked exhausted, and I did not feel welcomed at checking in. -5/10 for breakfast as some of the food were cold instead of keeping them warm. FB staff had 0 service skills. No communication and ignoring customers. - It is so difficult to see a smile from any staff here except the security guy. This is my second stay here, but last time was 200% better.

The décor theme is simple yet highly functional. This time, I stayed in a corner room, and although it was 32 sq.m., it didn’t feel small. I really liked the mood and tone of the room, with its light colors making it feel airy and spacious. The front desk staff was efficient during check-in, and they clearly communicated the benefits based on my membership tier, which was well done and in line with the chain’s standards. In the room, there was a hand towel folded into a rabbit shape, along with a welcome card from the Hotel Manager. However, there was no welcome set provided, which I assume is in line with the hotel’s level as a Focused Service property. The amenities are available upon request. One of the strengths of this hotel is its location, being right next to Central Rayong. In fact, it’s just a 10-step walk away. The TV is modern, allowing for Netflix streaming, and the internet speed is excellent. The gym equipment is well-maintained and complete, with a distant view of the sea. The rooftop bar serves well-crafted drinks, and the taste was spot on. They also offer a Happy Hour. The pool is not very large, but it’s perfect for a relaxing dip with a nice view. I would rate this stay 8.5/10. The only minor issue was the absence of a shaving kit, which other Hilton Garden Inn properties do provide. For travelers on longer stays or business trips, this might be something they need. Nevertheless, this is a lovely new hotel worth staying at, and I would certainly return.

Whenever Mercure takes over a property, one can always be assured of transformation for the better. This is not the first Mercure “revamped” resort in Thailand I had been to. This spot was once a locally run beachfront resort called Lom Talay. Translated it means sea breeze. Everything here has now been entirely renovated, reconstructed and enhanced to a level that you never know it was once the site of a tried resort that had seen better days. The pool had been re-cladded, beautified and now features jacuzzi sections. The landscaping completely redone. The accommodations are now ultra-modern, you can find so many USB charging ports in your room you can combine them to charge your Tesla. They have in total just over 50 rooms, so this resort still retains solitude vibes for one that seeks a quieter seaside retreat. According to what’s known, there is a second phase coming, expanding the resort with another hundred plus rooms, more restaurants and facilities. How the vibes will be then, remains to be seen. This be a small resort of sorts for now. On popular weekends, parking will have to be 2000 miles away as the front porch will be already full of parked cars. Not to worry, a golf cart is available to ferry guest so that you won’t have to bake in the inferno climate of Thailand. The pool will be mostly empty in the day even when the resort is at full occupancy. This is because Thais only come out in the gentle hours approaching sunset. They don’t like to grill in the sun like foreigners to become red lobsters. That said, there were mostly locals when we were here, I will say only 15% were of overseas origin. The beach is very well maintained, no rubbish strewn around like the resorts further west. The gradient is gentle and reveals critters during the low tide. Dig in the light brown sand a little and plenty of clams can be found. The waves were gentle in March, the clarity of the sea was the I can see my ugly toe-nails in knee deep water type. Not much of a bustle which I like. Occasionally, cheapo jet skis (more of like a jet ski body with an outboard) whizzed by the beach to decapitate unsuspecting guest in the water. Mercure is situated alongside the main road, and just next door is a public beach that separates the resort from a row of rustic seafood restaurants. They don’t’ seem to have changed much over the decades. Live seafood in tanks, and to be guaranteed a good restaurant, just watch out for which has a crowd. The alternative for dining will be in the resort’s lone restaurant in a much trendier setting watching the sunset. This is where breakfast will be served too. On the weekend we were here, there was a seafood BBQ buffet going on. There is a bar on the side of the building for that light after dinner beer chatting deep into the salty night. Breakfast is buffet styled with a good spread of food for a small resort. It was no disappointment. The restaurant had plenty of space to sit all the guests even during the popular hours. T

Stayed here for one night and due to circumstance was just looking for a good value as there was no time for a resort setting this trip to Rayong. In that situation I usually stay at the Marriott but for a place to sleep and run errands within Rayong this place was great. Room was bigger than I expected, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was solid considering the limitations these days but given the space they are using assume that in ”normal” times it is probably quite grand.

Beautiful beach front hotel and all hotel staff are really amazing, very friendly and helpful. Appreciated for all their efforts to make our stay perfectly. The services and amenities should be 4 stars standard instead of 3 stars. Thank you very much and we would definitely stay again in the future

The hotel is located on the beach, separated by a road. The rooms are good, the atmosphere is nice, the breakfast is ordinary and not worth the price. The good thing is that the view is good because there are few hotels to choose from in Saeng Chan Beach. There is very little parking.

My wife and I stayed here with our 8 yr old son as a stop over on our way from Bangkok airport to Koh Chang. Just over 2 hours in a taxi from airport, then another 2 hours onto Ao Thammachat pier so if anyone is travelling to Koh Chang and don't want to travel in one go then this is ideal to break up the journey. Location is fairly remote but there is more than enough around you, eating, shops etc. Pools are amazing and the beach is superb 👌 Breakfast is excellent, everything you wld expect from a typical Thai resort (rice, noodles, curry, fruit, pastries etc). Staff were very friendly, we only had a double bed so staff brought a mattress for my son to sleep on, free of charge 🙂 This is a very clean resort and not sure how old it is but definitely has a feeling of being new. The garden area near pool are really nice and well maintained. I can't fault this resort in any way. This really is a hidden gem, what an excellent hotel. If we travel to Koh Chang again (which we will as its an excellent Island) we would definitely stay over at this resort, but next time would stay longer. It is important to add that I don't often leave reviews but this hotel deserves it 👏 Thanks you

CentaraQ is the place where the family will choose first. When thinking about a short rest (Find seafood to eat 😃) for a 3-4 night ... reason because it is not far from Bangkok, there is a private beach (there are nine canvas / swings to sit and and is a photo prop).. The school has a good atmosphere available ... There are trees and flowers to be fresh ... There is fitness to exercise .... Breakfast is varied. The taste is ok ... There is a spa as well. The room view is good ... You can see the sea 👍 The staff is polite, friendly and the service is very good. ** We try to want the school to organize a promotion often We and our family can travel often comfortably. (Secretly 😊 per person)

The hotel is really good and everything we expected. The rooms are spacious and very nice and are cleaned every day. The pool is small but really beautiful, the whole hotel was built in traditional Thai style and is very clean. The beach is just a few steps away and so are the best beach restaurant on Samed (at the Samed Villa hotel) and Silversand bar for late night cocktails. Breakfast was a bit poor. The downside was the beach itself- with high tide hardly any place to lay down, had to rent beach chairs and a rough sea with high waves. The better alternative was to go to Ao Prao for the day, the beach there was amazing, no waves at all and saw the best sunsets there. With the songtiew just 5 minutes away, with a scooter even faster. The resort is quiet and even though almost on the beach, still secluded so the nightrest is assured. Will definitely stay again, because it was more than worth the relative low price (compared to the Ao Prao resorts).

Kantary Bay Hotel and Serviced Apartments Rayong 是我這10天選擇的飯店，靠近海灣坐擁美景👍，是適合放空放鬆的好地點😊 當初為何要選這間飯店的原因，是我在2007年的一張照片，這海灣很特別讓我想再次探訪這海灣，但時代久遠我已不記得這是在Rayong的哪裡，看著👀Google Maps找到Rayong思索如何找尋，就看到那灣啊灣的圖，一拉大就看到這間飯店，就直接儲存，訂了機票選了這飯店🏨。 一開始在網路上看到這飯店的評價是東西老舊或服務人員的態度不好之類的，但評價這東西總有正反兩面，我這人是自己體會過才會去感受網路的評價，畢竟每個人的感受不同。 我列出我個人感受的點供參： 1. 設備有年代，但是能用心感受到維護與清潔👍。 2. 早餐多樣化，日式、美式、中式，咖啡是我喜歡的味道。 3. 飯店工作人員有禮貌笑容滿面😊。 4. 語言雖然不通但是很認真地回應我😅。 5. 有兩個游泳池，可以很悠閒地度過享受陽光的下午🏊。 6. 在網路上有看到交通不便，我覺得這飯店主要是能讓人放鬆與放空的，而且現在有Grab超方便的👍👍。 7. 飯店旁有2間711讓人買不完🤭。 8. 飯店左右兩邊也都有超棒的餐廳，沿海也有特色小吃🤤。 9. 走出飯店就是海邊，療癒藍😌。 10. 我下次還要來😀。 🟪這飯店能維持並沒有因為疫情而被打敗，是我個人覺得很用心，也就是沒有因為疫情而倒閉，且看到飯店方用心在整理與維護，這樣的態度很好。 🟩飯店還有附設看海的咖啡聽Café Kantary讓人可以放輕鬆地度過。 🟧如果不想住的太觀光吵雜而又想擁有美景，離Pattaya又近，真的適合遠離吵鬧的城市，Kantary Bay Hotel and Serviced Apartments Rayong這間飯店我個人真的喜歡。

The hotel is located in the centre of Rayong right beside the night market and other city facilities. The room has a kettle, fridge, microwave, plates, bowls and cutlery for enjoying your own food or from the local market to eat comfortably in the large spacious room - everything you could need. The hotel offers a shuttle to the beach, bus station and the shopping mall - central. The breakfast was a large selection catering, for westerner's and Japanese. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They provided towels for the pool area which is next to the gym. This may not be a five start hotel but it has to be one of the most homely hotels I have ever stayed in. Some five start hotels do not take the care for their guests as this one does.

Excellent price quality experience. Friendly efficient helpful staff. Rooms are wide, newly renovated with balcony. 6th or 7th floor have the best rooms. Housekeeping is friendly and clean the rooms efficiently. Enough drinking water every day. Air condition is clean and new, meaning regulation of temperature easy and variable.

Situated right next to the beach and the restaurants that line the beach in a very quiet town ofMae Phim this hotel does it all. It is immaculately clean with large rooms and superb water pressure. The hotel pool is beautiful and the staff are fantastic. The price is spot on and we will continue returning here for as long as we can.

The hotel is located next to the sea, good location, quiet, private, can walk down to play on the beach. Newly renovated rooms, clean rooms, cool air conditioning, bathrooms may not have been renovated. But it works well. There is a hair dryer, a refrigerator, and a kettle. The environment outside the accommodation/common areas looks old. If the garden and trees were trimmed, it would be better. And there should be more cleanliness in the common areas.

Spent 5 days with my son for a holiday break. This is an ideal place for people looking for a quiet and relaxing resort. The rooms (bungalows) have been repainted and are very comfortable with aircon, wi fi, and a large bathroom with shower, Two swimming pools available including a kiddies section. Nice mix of foreigners and Thai guests. The quality and price ratio is excellent and we now avoid branded hotels that have higher expenses. We like comfort and the sea and can do without the extras. The beach was beautiful and the sea clear. Perhaps this is the best period to visit. Many activities around the hotel such as snorkelling and diving. I would return since this is the kind of place we love. English could be a problem for folks not living in Thailand but the staff do their best to help you.

Nice resort, definitely worth European 3 stars. Lovely well maintained swimming pool I thought bar and food prices were expensive for this area and much cheaper and good quality options immediately outside the hotel. Rooms are basic, clean , large, and spacious. Great thing about the rooms is access to many movies FOC from Netflix. I have one big complaint, and that is the amount of flies around pool and food areas. This is easily resolved by putting in floor level fans. They are not expensive!!!! It's so simple. The excuse that it's been raining and thst is why we have an intolerable amount of flies doesn't work with me, .. . I am a hotelier!

We had an amazing stay! The camp was brand new and very clean. The beach sand was so soft! We want to thank Joey, the wonderful and attentive Camp Cayla staff who made our stay great. As soon as we arrived he arranged everything according to what we liked. He asked us if we wanted to rent a scooter which we choose to do and he organised everything! In the middle of the night we didn’t know how to turn the aircon off (we were holding it too far away) and he was at our door within a few minutes and showed us how to turn it off. He was always on-site and took care of us well! The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. There were some small ants but that’s expected. We had insect spray so it was fine. Negatives: The property is not fenced so there lots of dogs that come very close, this maybe an issue for people that have a fear of dogs or if there’s small children playing around. The bar/ restaurant/ reception area is not ready yet, there is no where to buy food close by.

I stayed here for a long weekend in December 2020. The rooms are large and a great balcony with stunning sea views. The stay did not go well for a number of reasons, poor service, Internet not working, room filthy, room old, no shower curtain (so bathroom flooded after each shower, poor quality breakfast. As part of the Internet issue, I met the Resident Manager and she seemed to be proactive and practical. Although it took about five hours, she did manage to resolve the problem. Upon check-out, I bumped into her and she already knew that I was not happy with the stay but she talked well and offered an olive branch, to say that if I return, to book a room and then write to her, she would then 'take care of us'. In March, I decided to give this place one more try, so booked a room and wrote to the Resident Manager to take advantage of her offer to 'take care of us'. I wanted Building B as it has the best views and was told it was full (I later found out that it is being renovated, but they decided that lying was better than the simple truth). I had booked direct as that is what the Resident Manager has asked. This was at a higher price than I can get on Agoda, but I was expecting that 'take care of you' would comprise the usual Hotel Management offer, perhaps a room upgrade, or a free drink, or a free dinner etc. Upon check-in, no indication of how we would be 'looked after. So, went to the room, and wow! It was in worse condition than the room in December and, was utterly filthy. I called the Lobby and asked to see the Resident Manager. She came to the room and without even looking at how dirty the room was, immediately said 'yesterday there was a strong wind and it may have blown some duct under the door'. I pointed out that the filthy floor was caused by not being cleaned properly for many months. When she looked at the mess, she agreed and took her own photographs. Still no shower curtains fitted, woodwork filthy, rusty fittings in the bathroom etc. I pointed out that the room was unacceptable and she said that all of the rooms are the same age. I pointed out that the age of the room had no bearing on floor cleanliness. Her response was 'if you want to leave now I will refund you'! Superb Customer Service style. I will never set foot in this place again and I cannot recommend anything except the view. Some friends recently stayed at the Lord Nelson which is not far away, I will try that next time.

The hotel is calm, the service is good, the cleanliness is not that great, other than that it's ok. The view is very beautiful, suitable for sleeping and relaxing.

We were a bit concerned about some negatieve reviews related to being an old and outdated hotel. But after taking a closer look at the hotel and surrounding photos we decided to give it a try. Yes the hotel is a bit older but we like this style and found the hotel well maintained and very clean. The room was large and furniture was quite new. Views from the room are great (we were on 5th floor). The large pool is situated in a very well maintained garden with lots of shade and beautiful trees. Pool furniture is new and comfortable. We really liked the beach area and the shady trees. Yes you can see the industrial estate in the distance but water quality was good (I would much rather swim close to a petroleum plant than a city like Pattaya as sewage and drainage is much better controlled in the petroleum industry (due to heavy fines). Hotel seems very quiet during the week with more guests during the weekend. Wifi in the pool and public areas is good but poor signal in our room. Food is good at hotel restaurant at reasonable price and in a very nice setting. We will definitely come back again.

The Serene Farah Hotel is located between Rayong and Pattaya. The hotel is right by the sea. The beach seems to be the hotel's own. You can go swimming in the sea. The highlight is the hotel's swimming pool. There are many water entertainment facilities, which are especially suitable for children of young ages. The children have a lot of fun here. The room area is relatively large, the facilities are average, but it is relatively clean and sanitary, the air conditioning is very cool, and the breakfast is also good. The disadvantage is that the service is relatively poor
