Stopped off near Stansted airport love this hotel and having a really good night, love the staff and met Karen the receptionist lovely woman and what.a friendly team the hotel is clean and very tidy, great bar and the rooms are great, it's location id close to Stansted airport as mentioned before anyway great place and value for money

Public areas were nice Bar/restaurant. Rooms were good but lighting was very poor for reading. Luckily had a torch. You should not drink tap water in rooms as its from tank.Very unusual. There was plenty of parking for a Saturday night.Had food in restaurant which was good but took a very long time considering it was not busy. Some Wines by the glass were poor and overpriced.Breakfast was very good and the service. (man with dark beard).Over all pleased for the price.Thaxted village is lovely near bye
