In December 2023, there was a road repair near the hotel. But at the same time there was a decent discount on accommodation. Overall I liked the hotel, it was clean, the staff was polite. Breakfast is good. But next to the hotel on the sea side there is some kind of factory on the shore. The sea is not particularly dirty, apart from some household garbage, but the proximity to a working factory is embarrassing...

The hotel service is very good, plus I really like the service they been given to us for the last six days. The beach is very nice with the best views on your room. Over all the experience was wonderful. Definitely will come back .. thank you so much Sahara team.

More like a 4 star B hotel but at least better than Ibis Sharjah Liked · 1. True non-smoking room not non-smoking only in name as at Ibis Sharjah 2. Excellent refrigerator with working freezer. 3. Excellent aircon with temperature control. 4. Spacious room and large modern bathroom. 5. Mattress is comfy. 6 Good blackout curtains. Disliked · 1. Drain in sink clogged 2. Hair drier not working 3. Annoying buzzing sound (emitted by refrigerator?) impeding continuous restful sleep 4. Clock set incorrectly indicating 40 minutes fast 5. Terrible corrugated floors uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet or with socks 6. Very few spare outlets to use or inconveniently located negating their utility 7. Quirky, unergonomic lighting i.e. insufficient lighting for reading in bed; floor lamp located in useless place 8. Bed needs an extra, thin sheet (brought my own fortunately) and is not long enough for tall people Cleaners start vacuuming around the doors of the room by 10AM so if you are not sleepless from the noise in the room, then you will get woken up by the cleaners mid-morning. I used this hotel as I had a 17 hour layover in Sharjah. It is located in the neighborhood Majaz-1. On the way from Sharjah airport on a Saturday evening it was slow going by taxi (30-40 minutes) at a cost of 55 dirhams but Sunday morning just 10-15 minutes at a cost of 36 dirhams. This was an alternative for me to staying at the overpriced Sharjah Airport hotel on Dhaid Road ”Centro” (in which there are no eating options outside this Centro Hotel). However, near Hotel 72 turning right at the main entrance staying on the main street there is a good Arabic restaurant within perhaps 250 meters from the hotel called Madfoon Al-Khaimah. That is why I rated location as very good in terms of utility of Hotel 72 as a transit hotel. Charged $79 for one night. If you add in an additional $27 for taxis from/to the Airport, the savings from staying is very small to nil but at least you can have a good meal at an affordable price near Hotel 72 at Madfoon Al-Khaimah. I would not rate this hotel highly but standards are low throughout Sharjah so, in comparison with other Sharjah options, it is not a bad choice. Certainly better than the last time I transited in Sharjah and stayed one night in Ibis Sharjah, which, even at half the price of Hotel 72, is an inferior choice by far. If memory serves, by the way, I stayed in room 607 down the corridor on the 6th floor last door on the left.

A great experience of comfort, relaxation, with a touch of real class. The staff were a pleasure to relate with. The kitchen staff were really helpful. Great imellettes cooked within ones view. An array of food that should satisfy anyones appetite We would recommend this hotel to anyone who has reason to be in this area. Shopping on the doorstep, and a beautiful Mosque two minutes walk away. A Russian Orthodox church within a very short taxi ride. ATM's within two minutes walk. All in all, an excellent choice of Hotel.

This hotel is a true hidden gem minutes away from busy Dubai. At first you may wonder why to go to Sharjah, but the Chedi Al Bait is a destination on its own. The minute you walk in, you are being greeted by “Welcome home”, the English translation of “Al Bait”. It’s true the place felt like home as if I had arrived in my family after a long journey in the hot weather of the arabian peninsula. Here I found a calm, authentic, extremely beautiful & well kept property to rest and enjoy days of pure luxury. Because of the hot June weather I was lucky enough to be one of the few guests at the hotel. I felt like a true Sultan wandering around the maze of my property and there was not a minute I was not being pampered by the whole team. During the day, the walls of the property have a contemporary desert feeling. At night the lighting made it looked like the Palace of the Arabian Nights. I enjoyed the fact that all the doors of the property were left open for you to explore and decide to sit to contemplate or simply relax. Their library/museum was a nice surprise worth a quick tour! The suite I stayed for 3 nights was just perfect. Plenty of space, huge bath room with 5 star amenities. I loved the Acqua di Parma toiletries!! The huge bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I stayed in their “deluxe” rooms which for me felt super luxury. I can’t imagine how their higher category suites could even be better than what I had. Meals, breakfasts, drinks at their cafe were all of good quality. I highly recommend their Afternoon Tea Time which is a show on its own with all that nitrogen gas. Gym, Sauna and Steam room were all of the best quality! In short, I had at the Chedi the best time in the UAE and I could not recommend it enough to anyone who is appreciative of quality, discreet luxury and comfort! Special mention and warm thank you to the Team at the reception but also Sam at the Pool who was the kindest host ever. I was taken care like a real sheikh with always a glass of cold water, my sun bed prepared like I loved and always a few words and a smile to make my stay memorable. I don’t want to leave but I am certain I will visit again. ;) Thank you the Chedi Team 🙌🏼

We had a fantastic stay at the Chedi. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a Heritage Suite room. We were travelling with our 12 month old and they had everything prepared for us without even asking - including a cot, bottle warmer, bottle sanitiser and nappy bin. The room was wonderful - clean with lots of space and little touches such as dates and soft drinks on arrival. The facilities at the hotel were also great, including a clean and quiet outdoor pool and a well maintained gym. We enjoyed the food so much that we ate in the hotel restaurant three times (two dinners and one breakfast). However, the best thing was the wonderful team at Chedi. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The valet service, the reception staff, the restaurant team (in particular Shokry) and everyone else around the hotel. Thank you also for greeting us with complimentary mocktails and a special light meal in the hotel cafe. We are also grateful for the hotel's flexibility for allowing us to re-schedule our visit (at very short notice) because our son was ill. Thank you again and we look forward to visiting again soon! Excellent hotel!!! All is good. Service, room, staff. The only thing is that there is no beach nearby, for those who want to go out to the sea, it is not suitable. But if you plan to take a car, then this is not a problem. We took it, woke up in the morning, if we wanted to go to the sea, take swimming trunks, put it in the car, 5 minutes and you’re on the beach.

There was a inconvenience during check in as the receptionist told us that they couldn’t find our booking. Then I made a call to trip.com. It took 30 minutes to get this matter resolved.

Hotel is not bad! Yes, not new! And worth, your money. Breakfast is worthy! Rats, have not seen or heard. Room cleaning every day. Bed and towel change every day. Bed is clean! The people write that towel needs to be asked. Yes, it is. 3 days lived, after cleaning put 1 towel, although we are 2 and take 2 towels. Get down to the recession, please one more. Without the prole, in 5 minutes they bring. Wi-Fi is negligible, but for 2 days. We need to go down for a new password every 2 days. For us this is not a problem. In central streets in cafes and restaurants, prices range from 20 to 40 dirham per portion. Between the yards are 2 times cheaper. Don't be afraid, local, sit down at the table and order. They can cook personally, not acute food, but it will be necessary to wait 10-15 minutes. They can put ready, but acute and immediately. The price for the dish is not changed. The location of the hotel for us is acceptable, up to water 2 to 3 km. Taxi and buses have not been canceled. We, at 50, walk easily to the beach and back. 1 time by bus and 1 time by taxi. Many shops, next stops all sides! Hotel recommends for the middle class. A, the bourgeois recommends staying in hotels 4 and 5 stars.

We booked and pay in advance for a deluxe king room for 2 nights. After the 1st night of our stay, We discover that the room was given was not the same as we booked(WE BEEN CHEATED), It is lower than room category we booked which is standard king room (less price) only without informing us. I call reception to ask, they confirm that my conclusion is correct. Ratika or Ritika the receptionist justify that we requested for early check in that why she give us this room- but I asked her why she didn’t informed us before giving. Now the worst happen!!! on her defense ( she ask so stupid question) she sounds so rude asking me why i didnt question her from upon check in (THIS IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL you have to be honest to your guest) In additional she ask me to pay more cause as per her rate that I booked was lower than the rate on her system ( come to think that I should pay more for the room that is lower category than I booked & pay) she is the reservation manager as she said , but the way she is talking, she don’t know her job ( She need more training) , after that she is forcing us to change the room, she is sending her colleague 3 times on our room knocking to change the room but I didn’t yet ready our things (your personal touch being hotelier was not there at all). But finally, the GM to talk to me and give us late check out as the compensation for what happen and were very thankful for that but not worth it with the stress and energy that we wasted on this no manner & unprofessional receptionist Ritika or Ratika.

My 9th stay here is as comfortable as the first one. The staff is very efficient and cooperative. Thanks to the house keeping expert Than Than who made sure to add brightness and colour with lovely masterpiece with zero compromise on cleaning. The complimentary tray of dessert delicacies was fantastic. The warm feeling of welcome from everyone make it feel like a second home. Location is excellent with best views of corniche from every room. Hotel is new and maintenance is good.

Not happy with Trip.com as when we reached hotel they made us wait for more than 1 hr and said no booking by my name, thn i wasted my money on international calls to Trip.com and after that issue got resolved and in return i got only 1500 points as an compensation... sad very sad for making ur client wait for more than hour and in return you get compensation as 1500 points

This hotel is like a sand castle from a fairy tale movie. We had a very nice suite next to the sea with very beautiful views. We got complementary upgrade as our room was on the first floor and a bit close to the swimming pool. All the people who work there are so amazing, Monica, nemma, Allam, and Ahmad the booking manager was sweet and helpful. They upgraded us to the best executive suite during the rain to make sure we are safe. Food was amazing and all service personnel were very professional and quick to accommodate. Very happy we spend our short vacation here. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. I highly recommend Sheraton Sharjah and would visit again for sure.
