This is an absolutely lovely hotel with beautifully appointed rooms, lush lounges, a bar, courtyard, restaurant, and a welcoming staff. There is plenty of space in each room and the bathrooms are pristine. However, in one of our two rooms we were only able to get hot water in the tub, but not the shower. Also, this hotel is at the top of the hill overlooking Bath and all of the shops the museums were down toward the bottom so getting from place to place was a challenge. One of our party has some physical limitations and could not walk easily up and down the cobblestoned streets. Additionally, we were there in July and the rooms are not air conditioned. The hotel will bring a fan on request, but without ice or refigerators, the little air the fan provided didn't always allow for a comfortable night's rest.
Very friendly service and beautiful bedrooms. Conveniently located. The guest lounge with tea and coffee machines are a nice touch. The valet parking is very helpful and the bar provided a comfortable area to enjoy drinks before we went into the city for dinner.
