The hotel occupies the best location, going out is the main beach of Byron Bay, downstairs is the most famous bar in the local area, and hotel guests eat and drink 10% off. The restaurant supermarket can walk, very convenient. The hotel service is very thoughtful and welcoming, there is a handwritten welcome letter, the room is spacious and decorated in Art Deco style. The hotel provides free bicycle rental projects.

We relaxed as soon as we arrived. The rainforest location is so special. Our rainforest lodge was perfect and the sunroom surrounded by trees was such a sanctuary. We found the hugging (healing tree) on the rainforest walk and the kids kept on going back for hugs - such good vibes. The kids enjoyed the pool which was shallow - great for our young children. Eleme day spa was a dream - I had the chakra healing massage and really enjoyed the relaxing and immersive experience of the crystals and sound bowls too. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Forest and the staff are really exceptional. Not easy dining with 2 young kids but the staff there were so great with our kids. It's amazing we lasted through the delicious 5 course degustation! A must try with the matching wines. The squid and kingfish were the winners for us. I am so glad I did the morning yoga class (even if it was just once!) looking right into the rainforest - a great start to the day. We can't wait to return!

We have been going to this resort for years under Jerry Harvey's ownership. The new establishment provides the some of the same amenities, but not all. The most disappointing part of our stay was the Forest Restaurant I booked for our anniversary dinner, that weekend. *We were shoved in a corner and nearly forgotten *A lovely waitress finally appeared apologizing and took our drinks order. *We ordered a small entrée to keep us sated until our main meal. *We waited over and hour for the main meal, my meal was a seafood linguine. *The young waitress was most apologetic, offered us another drink. *When the food arrived my pasta was not 'al dente' uncooked and cold at the bottom of the plate. An enormous prawn tentacles and all sat on top of the dish. *Even the young waitress was perplexed. I asked how does chef propose I should eat this. Again she apologized and asked if we would like to order something else. We thanked her for her efforts to recover the situation, asked for the bill, and left. Our Anniversary dinner in tatters. Definitely won't be back any time soon.

We almost went overseas to a resort just prior to Christmas m, but with lack of flights, overpriced hotels at last minute & all of the drink poisoning episodes overseas, we felt this was better option! Two days in and it’s bliss. This is my 4th time here. We’ve stayed in a variety of rooms and we are right near the beach this time. The rooms are super cute. The only thing missing is a verandah here - but the bed is comfortable, we love the oversized bath and it’s very luxe like home. The restaurant is the only thing we feel lets it down- the menu could do with a revamp - as you would get bored after a week, but breakfasts are great, and the bar menu is pretty good too. The pools - particularly the adult pool is fantastic. The other pool is stunning at night. The service has been a bit average in the restaurants - waiters tend to stand around and talk to each other, but the staff are very friendly indeed. All in all, a great 4.5-5 star place for an Australian holiday, where you feel like you’ve left the country. The landscapes are stunning and I love the fact you don’t feel overcrowded. If you live nature, this is an amazing place to visit.
Elements of Byron is truly a beautiful and relaxing accommodation. The atmosphere is serene, and the rooms are designed to promote ultimate relaxation. I had the opportunity to do yoga every day during my stay, which was a wonderful addition to the experience. While the yoga instructor could be more advanced, I still thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. I would, however, suggest adding a shelter over the yoga area to provide protection from the rain. The reception and front desk team were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. The surrounding forest was another highlight, offering an amazing natural escape. The only thing I found a bit unusual was the beach. While it is stunning from afar, I was unable to swim there. There seemed to be a lot of sandbanks, and there was an area of muddy, dirty water separating the beach from the sand. I wasn’t sure if this was natural or something like sewage, which was slightly concerning. Despite this, my overall experience was excellent, and I highly recommend Elements of Byron for anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

Great little studio in the heart of Byron Bay. Walking distance to town. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Lots of instructions for everything in the house. Comfy bed. Kitchen stocked with water and other staples. Washing and dryer facilities. Host was on hand at all times and easily reachable. We stayed for 5 nights and it started to feel a bit small after a couple of nights. The outside area wasn’t comfortable enough for us to want to spend time out there. The bathroom was nice but was very damp for most of our stay (our towels didn’t really dry). The shower curtain isn’t ideal as water easily gets all over the bathroom floor.

I walked into this hostel with a friend because we were looking for a place to sleep and work. The manager did everything he could to make this happen even though it's not what they usually offer. We had the best time in the hostel. The people are amazing, super friendly and do everything to help. The rooms are clean, the beds are super comfy and the showers are great. It felt like home and it was very hard to leave this lovely place.

I loved EVERYTHING about this stay, up there with the best hostel I’ve stayed in Vibrant as soon as you walk in and already tells you everything about Byron The staff are always smiling and are all welcoming, Damian the manager is an absolute legend and over delivers to everyone. The activities the hostel hosts are amazing, yoga and bbq was my favourite Beds are super comfortable and the rooms are private even in a 4 bed dorm.

This was our first holiday in more than a decade. We booked a Boutique Suite because the bathroom looked clean/fabulous and to be honest, the rate was excellent compared to other places that were charging exorbitant amounts. The resort is minutes walking distance to the beach, boutique stores, cafes, restaurants and convenience stores (there's also a Woolworths) heading away from the main centre. I would've loved to give it a better rating, however, the KS bed in the Boutique Suite we booked, was average. It was too soft and made a huge indent when my partner lay down (and he's not even fat or obese). As a result, he had a back ache that triggered a headache during our three-night stay and was counting down till departure day -- not exactly the mindset you want while on holidays. I was OK with the mattress because I have a petite frame. The newly renovated bathroom looked as it did online -- luxe and modern. However, whoever the ”genius” was who did the renovation, positioned the toilet roll holder towards the back, rather than the side, so when sitting down -- you have to turn, twist 90 degrees to grab the toilet paper! The hand towel rack is positioned where the toilet roll holder SHOULD'VE BEEN placed. There's no towel rail either and you have to rely on the flimsy retractable clothes line that sags towards the bathtub once you hang two towels. There's secure underground parking in the basement with a height limit of 2:03 metres. If you have a roof rack, forget it. It's quite a small and narrow area space and if you do have a 4WD like we do, make sure you do a wide berth turn or you'll hit the railing near the lifts (you can see it's taken a beating by previous guests who evidently had no spatial awareness). Most of the parking spaces are narrow. On our last night, the remaining spots were too narrow but thankfully, an elderly couple saw our struggle and offered to relocate their car to another space, allowing our 4WD to take up two spaces. There's no breakfast but the place offers tea/coffee and fresh fruit, which is perfect because, let's face it, when you're surrounded by cafes and restaurants, why try to compete? It's great because guests are usually on the go anyway. Check-in is quick and easy. The staff are warm and friendly. Just don't ask the young casuals, who blow their cover that they're not a local, where to find the best place for croissants/pastries. The person on duty asked their colleague (another non-local) and anyone would think I asked them where the nearest unicorn farm was located. We were given A MAP. (LOL) Would I return to Waves Resort? YES but I would upgrade to either a Deluxe or State Suite (there's also a Penthouse). Hopefully the KS beds in these rooms are better than the one we slept on.
Having just returned from a long weekend in Byron, I have to write to say what a great choice Waves was as a place to stay. Close to the beach, convenient for the town centre, large rooms, comfy bed, lovely bathroom (and how enjoyable was that hot soak in the tub after a rather chilly swim!), and the friendliest and most helpful staff you could ever hope to meet. The complimentary wine ”tasting” on Saturday evening was the icing on the cake. We tasted quite a lot! Thank you, Waves, you fully deserved my 5 star rating.

Cabin were small for the price $150 night, beds were good, air-con worked well. Good size 📺 TV. Very quiet park in terms of no noises guests during my stay,so quiet, found it strange no children here, no playground! Small pool but nice. What bother me with the cabin, was right next to toilet and shower block, so the outside lights are on the whole night and shined through the side window. For a week stayed, you would think they put me in another cabin. Didn't mention it as couldn't be bother to move after day 1. I found this park good location, short walk to shops, through the side lane of the bus port. The staff were nice and helpful if you needed anything! I found the park quiet boring and Byron wasn't the place for me, not sure what the fuss is about Byron! Beach were average and cafe very tactic looking, Woolworths centre was nice to visit. Some nice looking clothes shop! Been all around Australia, Byron would have to be my least favorite place and that's a week I won't get back 😕
