We were welcomed for day use at Grand Isla Navidad Resort by Lucia Valencia Millan. Although there was a modest day use fee we found it a most excellent hotel with an accommodating staff, lovely grounds, fine dining and good access to the lagoon for swimming. During our visit to Barra de Navidad the surf was very high and dangerous and the Grand Isla Navidad was the perfect respite. On our next visit to this area, this hotel would be our first choice. Maybe I'll bring my golf clubs as well since the 27 hole course was very inviting.

This is an historic exceptional property which overlooks a stunning bay. The rooms and amenities are the finest in this area and this is the best hotel to visit in this region. Above all the service is superior and every staff member is attentive beyond compare. My husband has been visiting this property for over 20 years. We will Always return.
