Beautiful historic hotel which is iconic in South Mumbai opposite the Gateway of India. The club room was beautiful and well appointed. Service was polite but requests from the room were a little slow to be responded to and we didn’t meet the ‘butler’ that was supposed to be available to us throughout our stay. There was some construction work happening on the roof directly above our room during our stay which was deafeningly loud, it took 3 calls to the front desk to get a resolution which was disappointing. At this level of hotel I would have expected at least a warning before the work started and a plan on how to mitigate its effects on us without us having to complain. Having a toddler needing an afternoon nap whilst jackhammers were pounding the ceiling was not an experience we enjoyed. To their credit they did stop the work for 2 hours to let our child nap, but the experience lessened appreciation of the Taj stay.

This charming hotel is located very close to the airport. The staff is very warm and friendly and takes good care of their guest. The rooms are clean and spacious and reminded me of 5 star properties from back in the 90’s. A good place to host weddings as they have ample of space to organise all the various functions etc. Only and biggest drawback is the layout of the hotel. I really really recommend the owners/***agement accommodate another lift and staircase lobby as the hotel design is such that the rooms are quite far away from the main lift lobby and becomes a hassle to travel from one end to another

The hospitality and service of the staff was excellent. The room was not clean and felt very dusty most of the times even after it was vacuumed. The mattress was a spring mattress which was of a poor quality and unfortunately they couldn't replace with a better one which resulted in uncomfortable sleep at nights. Apart from this the overall stay was amazing like the jacuzzi, steam/sauna rooms, swimming pool, etc...

We were there for a birthday buffet brunch at the Seven Kitchens. The staff was amazing and very customer oriented. We had a complaint about some food items, the chef came immediately to check and removed the dishes totally from the buffet. Our complaint was appreciated.

Most friendliest staff. I went with my toddler and the staff(Rupali and Papin) at the play area were so good with my son, he enjoyed playing with them a lot. I wish the play area was indoors as it gets too hot in the day for the kids to play in the heat. Mr. Roopesh More from the vista restaurant was so sweet to get the kids food customised for our needs every day. It made our stay very pleasant and memorable.

The Leela is a fantastic hotel! Everything was superb! Immaculate, very luxurious comfortable rooms overlooking garden and pool The staff is super friendly and know how to make your stay a perfect one. They are very customer oriented and service minded but with a wonderfull personal touch. The choice of restaurants is overwelming but my choice was the Indian restaurant Jamavar and the food was of superior quality. This with the beautifull breakfast en tea time and scrumpious snacks at the Lobby Lounge and the amazing coctails and of course the easy airport transfer made my stay just wonderfull. Harsh provided exemplary service as we arrived in Delhi quite early morning. He was very detailed in his approach as a valued staff member. Harsh and his colleague’s efficiency and friendliness made the process seamless, setting a high standard for hospitality. I appreciate their attention to detail and the warm welcome they extended, making my stay truly enjoyable

None of the plugs worked. I waited for 20 min waiting on the door of the room because also the phone was out of service. Moreover the bathroom has door hard to close, all water split out. A nightmare. Moreover, the guy took my card into a room without my permission. Crazy
