We stayed at Hemingways 4 nights in December at the beginning of our 3 week vacation and we are so glad we did. From the moment we arrived until the day we left the staff were all so hospitable & kind. They remembered our names after the first day and went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. John, the concierge, helped arrange a wonderful Nairobi National Park tour with a take away breakfast that was very good. He also arranged to hold our luggage while we went on safari in Tanzania and had it transferred to our airport hotel when we returned. We had such peace of mind knowing that our luggage would be taken care of. Restaurant recommendations were great. All the wait staff and housekeeping were attentive and very good. The hotel grounds are beautiful, very quiet & security is tight. It was nice to see the Christmas décor which was beautiful & the gingerbread houses with the electric train were quaint. The hotel location was perfect for what we wanted to do – Nairobi National Park, Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Giraffe Center are all nearby. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of bottled water & a mini bar. The food at their restaurant was really good and offered options for everyone in our group of 4 – mushroom soup, chicken tikka korma, miso basted chicken, deep fried Ngege, & steak we all enjoyed very much. Their “Perfect Gin & Tonic” should not be missed! My spa treatment was the only thing that left me wanting a little more…the wrap I had offered a very thin layer of product & I was left wrapped up for 45 minutes which was way too long. I was so happy to shower and start the 2nd half of the treatment with a massage which was very nice. We all hope to be able to come back to Nairobi and stay at Hemingways – highly recommend!

10/10 service. Actual best we've ever recieved anywhere in the world. Made our honeymoon so enjoyable Jackson and Baraka great at the front. Jackson reccomended us some great daily activities off site and arranged everything perfectly Ali 10/10 driver and de facto tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He did airport pick ups, drop offs and drove for our daily trip Roger Tony John and everyone at the front also extreamly friendly and awesome

This review is a little late, but I still have to praise the Nairobi Marriott Hotel! ! ! Because the JW Hotel in Nairobi made me fall in love with this city! ! ! This review is not exaggerated. As a person who stays in a hotel 200 days a year, I still have a little experience in staying in a hotel. First of all, I have traveled to most of Africa and stepped on countless pitfalls. The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! Don't be shy to find him, Jacky is so reliable and professional!!! He has super professional knowledge of hotels, there is no question that can be asked, and he actually knows all the well-known companies and brands in all industries!!! It is common sense that Marriott's hotel training system is well done, but the knowledge capacity of senior management is too terrible!!! If you are interested in the hotel industry, you must find this great god to chat when you have the chance! A rare learning opportunity!!! It's a pity that I forgot to take more photos of the hotel interior, and only took some photos of the breakfast restaurant, so it may not reflect the excellence of JW. Without the service awareness of the five-star hotel, I clearly stated that the room set for the second night was higher than the first night, and the money cost hundreds of dollars, not to say that the two rooms are the same. Since the same, why are the two room types and two price points? I won't choose this brand next time, it's too bad.

Perfect experience. Good hospitality and customer care. The hotel is located within shopping malls with lots of options being it restaurant, gym, bars, and other items. All these, maximize the experience of Kenya, especially for those coming on business trips with less time to move arround.

Participating in the project business negotiation meeting is relatively close to the foreign unit, and choosing to stay in this hotel also shows our identity. This hotel is also the most luxurious hotel in the city, with first-class facilities and first-class service. Breakfast was excellent, and Ctrip prices were moderate.
