While we stayed in ***y TAJ properties and carry very warm memories of TAJNESS from most of the properties but this property stays in our heart very closely for ***y reasons may be for our life time. 1) Rich legacy this property carries 2) Small & Unique property which we haven't seen by far 3) The suites are very large. In fact they are the largest which we seen till now 4) Most importantly the hospitality shown by each colleague was tremendous and didn't feel till now While every colleague has shown warmth and gave their best but to name few, 1) Rhimjhim- Right from the check in to see off she was there with us. Very Helpful and informative. She took care of our kids when we were out for temple DARSHAN, visits etc. 2) Venu- Very polite and attentive to each of our requirement, be it lunch, Dinner or breakfast-for that matter anything else 3) Vikas- While he is heading food & beverages for both the properties but he made sure that at least he touch based 1-2 times with us and enquired about our comfort. In fact 16th December is his Birthday but still he is at the job and enquiring about our well being. Hats off to his commitment levels 4) GM of the hotel- My apologies for not remembering his name but very kind and there for check in & out while he is busy As mentioned earlier, above are the few names which I mentioned here but otherwise every one was so attentive to our needs and helpful. I thank once again all my colleagues for their excellent hospitality and we will remember this stay for our life time. My kids were so nostalgic that they just wanted to be in Varanasi to stay in this property once again. Not sure whether we can make it in the near future but I'm sure they will definitely make it to this property once again when they grow up and will cherish their childhood memories.

Location - Right at the Ghat. This would also make it inaccessible by vehicle. Hotel had arranged for the pick up and drop of luggages. So no worries there. Special mention to ever amiable Mr. Uday and Mr. Brahm Kumar. Rooms - Clean and well kept. Thanks to Mr. Fayad, Mr. Dileepkumar and others from House keeping Food - Eclectic & delectable. Kudos to Chef Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Mr. Sandeep, Mr. Sunilkumar, Mr. Abhishek, Mr. Jyothikishan et al. Roof top terrace - Good place to start/wind-down your day with a cup of coffee. Special thanks to Tiwari ji. We got to visit the main temples, had very good darshan, attended Ganga Arti, were introduced to a few good street food joints, and did a bit of shopping as well. Despite being our first time here, everything went like clockwork due to one person - Mr. Sanjay Sahani. He is a very genuine and no BS guy. Overall Mr. Pankaj Mahajan and his team made sure that we had a very pleasant stay. This place would definitely be my first choice, the next time I visit Varanasi.

India's well-deserved hotel, luxurious decoration, first-class service, intimate and comfortable, rich breakfast, daily newspapers. It is completely isolated from the mess outside, just like being in two different worlds, it is worth staying.

Stayed for 2 nights during march 2023. Location is away from the city in a serene environment - while you get a peaceful stay, you miss the buzz of varanasi which is the main life of the city. Rooms have got all standard facilities including ac, intercom, tea / coffee maker, hair drier etc. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Food quality was homely and tasty. It's a pure veg and no alcohol hotel. It has no round the clock restaurant / room service. Net net a good stay, if you are okay to stay away from the city and ready to shell out a lot on taxi fare every day. And it definitely does not justify the rent that they charge for the overall facility that you get.

The location is central and most of the tourist sites are easy to access. Good sized rooms and clean bathrooms. House keeping is efficient. Fabulous breakfast menu and delicious food. The hotel is located very close to all the railway stations and is accessible by the faster roads to go into the city and Sarnath. Room rates are very affordable and service exceeds the prices.

The moment I came I was welcomed with welcome drinks and tika, after that I went to my room which was fine but in the itinerary it was mentioned pool view room but I got a room with a pathetic view of buildings. Later when I went to the buffet I served myself some starters and soup and when I was about to have my food Mr Shivam from f&b department who was wearing a red waist cost approached me and started asking me my room number to which I gave him my room number but he was not satisfied and asked me again to show him a proof then I showed him my room key. After that he again came to me and told me which company was I from as no meal is there in your name etc. I was shocked that a person has just had a bite of food from her plate and the staff is asking her indirectly whether she is paying or not. I left the food as it is and went to the reception and adressed my query to the Front office duty manager who was very casual with his reply. I myself come from a customer service background and the way these people are treating their guests is very wrong. It was very embarrassing moment for me in my whole life. I'm sorry but please train your staff on the basic ethics of customer service. I would like to conclude by saying that what's the use of welcoming your guests with Tilak and welcome drinks if you lack the basic human ethics and run only after money and nothing else. PATHETIC!!!
