As part of our trip to Borneo stayed here. I have struggled to know what to say as we did have poor experiences but they are clearly trying to get things right and they are at an early stage following their refurbishment. The GM couldn't have been nicer. We reached out before arrival but didn't hear back and at checkin we felt super rushed. They were very vague about their club lounge offering as the lounge was not yet open (I believe is now), didn't give details re Breakfast, etc. The room - I feel overall there was too much furniture eg coffee table got in the way of you using the desk chair. In the end we were moved to an amazing suite as we had issues with water coming up through the floor tiles out into the corridor when we were showering. The lounge offering was a shambles and staffing an issue but hopefully with the proper lounge now open that will have been addressed. Breakfast food needs to be hotter and eggs more consistent. Unlikely we will return to Kuching but if we did would give it another try as I'm sure the GM will get on top of things after the full opening.

perfect location exactly in middle of Kuching City, near to the famous Kuching Waterfront. Crew is wonderfull, polite and always there for help. Security also great specially during night time only guest with key can enter the hotel. good joh.

Very conventional four star hotel. Breakfast was good but not great. The location near the waterfront area is perfect esp it is bear little india and Chinatown.

Do not stay at this hotel if you value your health. I stayed here on two different occasions during a three week., And experienced consistently poor conditions in my rooms. The AC was insufficient, and who wants to be hot in their hotel room, while visiting Borneo? The bathrooms have black mold, growing in the shower. The walls are filthy, the air conditioning filter hasn’t been changed in a very long time, causing me to sneeze and buy anti-histamines, the toilets continue to run after they’ve been flushed, there isn’t an electrical outlet in the bathroom to use a blow dryer, or electric shaver, there are burned out lightbulbs in the room, the remote control had dead batteries in it, and so on. This hotel is only five years old, and it looks like it’s 20 years old and hasn’t had standard maintenance.

It was a fantastic stay and Mr. Nick was very helpful. He was contactable throughout the trip. We had a parking lot and the place is really clean. I would certainly stay here again.
