Just returned from a week at this hotel, we arrived at 10pm and got checked in quickly and efficiently, the red haired receptionist was very pleasant and spoke perfect English. She explained the food hall was closed but she gave us packed meals in polystyrene boxes. However on opening them was disappointed to find they contained one plastic packed chocolate croissant, a packet of garibaldi biscuits and an apple. Ultra processed sugary rubbish which I don’t consider is an evening meal. I went across the road to the supermarket and bought some cold meat, cheese and a salad, and the sugary rubbish got thrown in the bin. Management you run a hotel, why don’t you give people nice healthy hotel food to eat? Our room was clean, we were on the ground floor however on going out onto the balcony our “view” was a side alley where staff came out to sit and smoke and they wheeled rubbish bins along, absolutely awful so we did not sit on the balcony ever. The pool area is nice and clean and relaxed, nobody pesters you, there is no animation team there, it’s just really chilled. The pool however is much smaller than it looks online, it’s the smallest pool I’ve ever been to and you can’t really swim in it, I tried but you go round in little circles but someone always gets in your way. It’s definitely just a pool to cool off in , so if you like to swim a lot don’t book this hotel. There are not nearly enough sun loungers around the pool, we weren’t there in the high season but many times came out and there was none free, management you need to provide far more loungers. The hotel is in a perfect location, a few minutes walk from the beach, and lots of restaurants and shops nearby too. The main ***** is about a 10 minute walk away. The beach is a small ***** of sand nearly all covered with sun loungers which you have to pay for, €2.50 for a lounger and another €2.50 for an umbrella, but they were always full and we found a little bit of sand and put our towels down there. The beach is very rocky and stoney, and the stones go far out so you really need water shoes to get in and out. There’s not much fish to see there for snorkelling. The food at the hotel had a smaller choice than other hotels, but I always found something to eat, the only problem is it was lukewarm, by the time you got back to your table to eat it it was cold. Management you need to turn up the heaters under your food to make it hot. The desserts were very limited, all they had were generic bought in frozen sponges of various different colours which they cut into little squares, that was all they had every lunchtime and evening, it was a poor show. Management you need to employ a pastry chef and make some different desserts. Also there was a distinct lack of Cypriot food on offer, I never saw halloumi or baklava on the menu. The coffee was disgusting, undrinkable, there was a Costa coffee shop a four minute walk away which I went to to get a decent coffee. The staff in the canteen were efficient a
I stayed with my husband and 2 children from 20th august Arrival was food we arrived late so restaurant and at closed but we are given a park each of food and drink which was nice The room we were given was tiny…absolutely no way it can accommodate 4 persons We paid for upgrade to bigger room Next day Pool is quite small and when busy isn’t great to enjoy… Lifeguard was lovely and friendly and a real asset to the hotel They need to play more music around the pool to create a more holiday vibe..a tiny speaker isn’t cutting it Most staff friendly included Damna eleni and aziz Panikos was up and down he shouted at my daughter sit down once, we told him to not raise his voice to her and never did again Food overall was good always something to choose and all tasty Snack bar - if u like burgers/pizza and chips then fine, the need more choice, like salad, fruit etc Pizza was horrible The entertainment need some attention For the amount of money we paid we would have expected entertainment every evening and activities during the day One night they had Cypriot night with singing and dancing. This was excellent Cleaning of rooms wasn’t great. Our bedding wasn’t change once in 10 days only bed made…not good enough Hotel should offer towels for use around the pool and not have to pay for that Hotel in good location for beach and ayia napa

The staff was very friendly and makes the guests feel special. The behavior of everyone working at the hotel always made us happy. Although the facility was a little old, both the rooms and common areas were clean. It was pleasing to see that the sun lounger cushions were wiped regularly and the cooking and presentation areas were cleaned thoroughly when the meal time was over. Food variety and taste were quite sufficient. We usually arrived at the restaurant 1 hour after the meal start time and were able to eat as we wanted without waiting in line. We were happy to have alternatives such as freshly cooked products and a surprise Chinese buffet. We were equally pleased with all the bars and pool/beach services. With music and ******, we had a pleasant time without having to leave the hotel. Areas that need improvement are bed comfort and sound and light insulation of the room. Guest relations and housekeeping helped us with the bed, but the beds still need to be renewed and blackout curtains need to be installed in the room for a more comfortable sleep. Adding sound insulation to the doors would also be helpful.

We had a 5-day family holiday during the holiday, I will write about my experiences in detail. Let me talk about the positive aspects first: - The children working in the service were very interested, sometimes it seemed that they did not have much knowledge or experience, but they are so friendly and trying to do something for you.. I have stayed in hotels that are much better and more expensive than this hotel. There are few places. - The beach is very nice. The sea is always clean. There is a sandy beach and there is a very long shallow sand like Belek, so although it is comfortable for adults like us, I have noticed that families with children are especially comfortable. - Rooms are nice. It's not luxury but very good for the price. Big, spacious. The bed was also quite large and comfortable. Its design is modern. Air conditioner works fine. - Every evening there was a wide variety of fish and it was delicious. The masters of the oven were great, what they made was delicious.. She was making a puff pastry every morning for breakfast, I have never eaten better. Oil-free, crunchy. Lamb meat was also delicious. Now I will unfortunately share my bad experiences: - Let's start with the rooms, are most of the guests coming to the hotel in Cyprus English? Why is there only 1 Turkish socket in the whole room, but British style sockets everywhere? You cannot charge phones for 2 people at the same time and there is only one Turkish type socket under the TV, there is no suitable socket at the bedside! - Let's continue with the cleaning. First of all, the sink in the room was clogged, the bathroom was not cleaned well. In the restaurant, the plates could come out dirty, I always found my plate in a few tries. - Internet is free, but DISASTER! I didn't try it from a single device, we were 4 people, we all tried it separately. There is no internet connection either in the room, by the pool, in the cafeteria or on the beach. But constantly. We are tired of turning off the phones now, it's not something to deal with. Don't say that a lot of people are using it, we went to the beach at 6 in the morning, it's the same, we went to the restaurant at 6.30, it's the same. It's always a problem when no one is using it! It's 2022, we raised our arms up like an old-style TV antenna and searched for wireless internet, it's not going to happen. The internet was only working very well in the lobby, probably for this reason, those who had a job, including me, were always working there rather than working in the room. Most of the time, we connected to the wireless internet of the Limak hotel next door on the beach. - The hotel is all inclusive. All alcohols are there. If you want, buy 1 whiskey bottle every hour and finish it. Eat as many meals as you want. Cans of coke, beers, gin, wine. Consume whatever comes to your mind as much as you want. Nobody wants money. But we only drank 1 glass of freshly squeezed orange juice during the 5-day holiday, they asked for an extra 40 TL. Nonsense! I wish you had said that you don't have fresh orange juice, but you wouldn't have done this shame. - Let me explain the dishes. The beef was very bad. It was either too hard or too flavorless. The food was very oily in all of the deep-fries. I guess frozen foods are thrown away when the oil is cold. I noticed plates of food taken and left on the tables, a lot of food is thrown away, this makes me very sad. There are many kinds of food, it's true. I wish there was less variety, but a little more care was taken.. We couldn't drink 1 good Turkish coffee in 5 days.. There is no machine, they make it by hand.. I think the employees were told to pour less coffee, I tried it in different bars, always the same frustration.. Turkish coffee is a disaster.. Ki Cyprus' It has very good coffees of its own. - There were many people in the cafeteria who took food with their hands, there were also dishes that we did not want to eat when we saw them.. Actually, the solution is very easy.. Give much less food, there are already plenty of cooks, you can give these friends to serve food and distribute the dishes in a clean way. This is a service already implemented in all inclusive hotels at this price level, it's not new..

This is an all inclusive family oriented hotel which is very large in overall size. Dining was self serve cafeteria style with an excellent selection of salads and breakfast items. Since we were visiting friends we had dinner with them each night and did not eat dinner at the hotel. The spa massages were excellent, although extra cost. It is fairly isolated and not near anything of interest except the beaches, which were very nice. We did not go to the ****** so cannot comment.

Queensbay is a family run hotel and the staff go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and at home. Ivan, the beverage manager is a gem and we appreciated his friendliness and sense of humour. We chose the inclusive deal and the food and drinks we were offered were top notch. The food catered for all tastes and was abundant and superb. There is some evening entertainment for guests, bingo, quizes, greek dancing, live music and Kareoke. The pool area is large and was enjoyed by all.The small beach on the property is beautiful and secluded. There is a nearby supermarket for necessaties. A most enjoyable time was spent at this superb hotel.

The entrance, reception and pool area deserves the 5 star classification, unfortunately the 5 stars stops there. The service was probaly equal to a 3 star hotel. The staff in the main pool didnt smile once during our stay. Barley looking at the hotel guests, serving drinks like they were beeing punished, we decided to never go back and went to the smaller snack-bar, where the staff was frendlier but with less options on the meny. And as far as drinks go, DONT buy all-inclusive if you want to enjoy tasty and refreshing drinks during your holliday. Served in small soft-plastic cups and undrinkable. The pina colada was anything but a pina colada, and the daquari was more or less a joke. Not a single drink was mixed from scratch which I expect when I stay at a 5 star resort. Moving on to the food, again DONT buy all-inclusive! I know that all-inclusive buffet is what it is but once again, I expect more from a 5 star hotel. Other 5 star hotels in Ayia Napa have had much better food than what they serve at Chrysomare. Also the restaurant is very noisy and most of the time you would finnish your meal before the staff brought you sometning to drink. I also noted that the cooks casually walked around among the guests, chatting and joking with their coworkers. Not working, just hanging out before returning to their station. The food-area was crowded as it was without the staff spending their 5 minutes break there. We ended up eating at restaurants instead. The location on the other hand is good! A 10 minute walk in the the center of Ayia Napa. The ocean view is lovley but I recommend to swim elsewhere. The water in the bay at the hotel was rather dirty as well as the beach. Nissi beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel so we went there instead. Room. Cleaning is ok but not more, towels ended up in different places and amount everyday. At first glance the room looks great but after a while you start to notice things that needs st be fixed. Beds are rather hard. Nice features with the electric curtins and balcony facing the pool and ocean. Unfourtunatley I wouldn't go back and won't recommend it to anyone I know.
Great hotel great people and service best place to relax- enjoy Lovely by place the hotel is right on the beach and close to the city where there is a great restaurant Old Village Tavern with fresh and delicious food. There are many nice places to visit near the city…

Big family vacation for weekend was the best decision I made it on this hotel. Being myself a Cypriot I know tsokkos company from very before and choosing this company for vacations always. Always in love with this company but trying this hotel is first time and it’s great experience. I don’t find any place to point a finger on. We liked it and our children loved it. Gonna choose the tsokkos company again and again for coming future.
From the time we arrived we feel special and the hotel is lovely. Staff are polite, incredible and hardworking. The most attractive part of the hotel is the view from the room which is breathtaking. Food have different types of choices and delicious too. Bar staff are the plus point of the hotel. Definitely gonna come back.

this hotel might be the best i`ve ever stayed in! The rooms are big, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast buffet is big, the employees of the hotel are all nice and friendly, the barkeepers definitly know how to mix a cocktail! if you have questions you can approach the the reception 24/7 and they will help wil you with anything, from ordering a taxti to printing schedules for the bus, recoomendations for restaurants, they do everything!
The room is a bit small to live in. Don't expect too high a four-star rating in Europe. It's a renovated house in an old area. The surrounding environment is not very good. It is equivalent to a relatively large boutique B&B in China. Don't be fooled by the preconceptions of domestic indigo. Breakfast is also a European restaurant breakfast. It is no problem to eat well. The service facilities are minimalist, but the girl at the front desk is very kind.

We had a great stay. The hotel is pretty clean, finished to a high spec and offers good value for money. The food and drinks were tasty but they could have been more varied. The beach is only 5 minutes away, and there are restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The staff were very good and the rooms are nice. If you're wondering what the catch is, the pool doesn't get any sun for most of the afternoon. This was fine for us in October as it was still 30°.
