This was the most memorable and amazing experience I’ve had in many years. The service was great and so comfortable. We are planning to come back in a few years. They allowed our family to create homemade raviolis in their kitchen. ♥️ It was clean and some of the best showers I’ve seen across the country. It was a treat.

I had the most delightful stay at 1900 Inn on Montford! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed like family. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, going out of their way to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. The room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could ask for. I especially loved the cozy touches, like the plush bedding and access to fresh cookies. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious! The location was ideal, with stunning views and easy access to downtown Asheville. It was the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat, or a base to explore the area, this bed and breakfast is a gem. I’ll definitely be back!

Great stay. Everything was perfect. Shawnie and Willy made sure my stay was exceptional. Beautiful room with all the comforts of home. The breakfast sandwiches were great. Everyday a little different. Add in Shawnie's home made cookies and you have your perfect home away from home.

I've traveled extensively over the years and never have I experienced such genuine care, comfort and thoughtfulness as I did during my extended stay at 1900 Inn on Montford. Innkeepers Shawnie and Willy Gruber made our group feel not only welcomed but at home in their home. The comforts throughout the Inn are exquisite, the bath and beds are hard to describe (buy a set of sheets to take home) and don't forget the baked with love, home-made cookies at the coffee bar. I met some wonderful returning guests during my stay, one couple has visited the Inn 29 times so far. I now know why they and others continue to stay at 1900 Inn on Montford. When I return to Asheville again, this is only one place I would consider staying. Don't book for points, book for a lasting memory and treat yourself.

Shawnie & Willy have created the most lovely, warm and welcoming home away from home for their guests. My husband and I rolled into Asheville only 3 weeks post Helene to visit our daughter, and found respite at this lovely Inn. We were immediately greeted by fresh, out of the oven, home made cookies! Our room above the guest house was comfortable, huge and fully equipped with anything and everything we could have wanted. Willy brought the most amazingly delicious breakfasts to our door each morning. And we were even privileged to be entertained by a talented blue grass trio one evening on the front porch. Thanks so much to the Grubers for this special stay! We will be back.
