Very clean and comfortable. We got assistance immediately on remote questions. Beds are comfortable and bathroom very clean. The heater was warm and wood supplied for fireplace. We utilized the kitchen so it was well supplied. Always enjoyable to visit Estes Park.

Wonderful little place! Cabins are cozy and clean with kitchens and fireplaces. Maybe half a mile from the National Park's (less busy) Fall River entrance and 3 miles into Estes Park. Staff was great, even when we locked ourselves out on Christmas night. Loved it and will be back for sure!

I used to love holding my art workshops at McGregor, along with 6 students, all booking separate cabins for five straight years. When I could not hold my 2022 workshop due to low attendance, I elected, per their contract, to rollover my deposit from 2022 to a 2023 workshop. McGregor's contract stated that I had the option to either rollover that deposit until another time, which I booked right away for 2023, or they would credit my deposit back to me, minus $100 processing fees. When my workshop was cancelled again in 2024 due to poor health, I called the office asking to cancel my reservation and credit my deposit, minus their rightful $100. They refused. By then they were under new owner/management. The previous owners would have honored their contract and credited my balance. The language in the original and rollover contract was clear, the terms were identical. The new owners offered no reason that they would not credit my deposit - except to say they would not. I also know they re-booked my cabin and that of a student who also lost her deposit of over $1000. Not only will I never do business again with McGregor’s new owners Patrick and Teresa Commerford, but numerous friends, students I brought there, as well as others I've talked to about this vowed to never stay there again. Bad business in a day when there is so much competition and numerous options, it would have gone a long way to just credit my $414 and my student’s loftier deposit.

This is our 10th (!!) year in a row and have already booked for next year. That should say it all. Great location close to the entrance to RMNP, very short drive to Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel. There are lots of places to stay around Estes but we keep coming back here. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Wildlife always visit the property. This time we saw a bobcat cross in front of the upper chalet. Saw the Comet in the the amazingly clear skies. Highly recommend McGregor Mountain Lodge.

I've stayed their several times and it's always been great. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well stocked with kitchenware, etc. Great views! Can't beat the location, with it being just 1 mile from the Fall River entrance to RMNP. I highly recommend!
