The room was clean and had a wonderful terrace. Managed by a lovely family, we were greeted with tea upon arrival, and the room was equipped with a heater and a warm blanket—perfect for the cool mountain climate of Nuwara Eliya. Although we arrived late, we were pleased to find that dinner was available. While the menu was limited, it ensured we didn't go to bed hungry. The breakfast was exceptional, one of the best we've experienced in Sri Lanka. Cottage San Francesco is cozy, quiet, and a lovely place to stay. In Noir, the weather on the mountain is relatively cold. There is heating in the house, but the room facilities are a bit old. The hotel is very beautiful, with a British-style design, a green roof and white walls. It is very beautiful.

One of the most satisfying hotels in this trip, the rooms are huge and the decoration is luxurious. Attentive English service, breakfast and dinner are great. I heard that there were many Chinese guests before the bombing, and this time the hotel was a Chinese. I heard that I had to spend more than a thousand nights, we only need more than 600. I hope to get better soon!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with all the necessary amenities, in a great spot overlooking Gregory lake and 1 km away from the city centre. The service is outstanding and the staff are very accommodating. Shimal ,Laksham and Madusanka were friendly and professional. The food is very good although, I would like to have seen more Sri Lankan food on the menu as it’s a primarily European menu. The only reason that we are not giving them a five rating is because of the loud music coming from a fun fair (they call it Carnival) nearby which kept us awake every night until about 12am although, I’m not sure if this is a permanent feature. We were staying during a Hindu festival and they prepared traditional food and decorated the hotel beautifully for the festivities which added a fun element to the stay.

This elegant hotel had the best bed and shower in Sri Lanka. The beautiful solid wood furniture and flooring gave it a luxurious vibe and the views were stellar. The owner and staff were very attentive to my needs, including a delightful private cooking lesson. The prawn curry was the most delicious I tasted during my month in the country.

This hotel has a stunning location on the edge of a steep valley with amazing views. The rooms were very comfortable with air conditioning that worked. The food was good and the dining room has similar views of the valley. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a small private balcony outside each room.

Honestly this is the best hotel in the area in every aspects. Highly recommend for those who are planning to hike/worship Sri Padaya mountain. Rooms were neat, tidy, spacious and having a balcony with amazing view of the sacred mountain. Also all sufficient basic amenities there for a comfortable stay. We have faced a little uncomfortable situation due to couple of limit crossed drunken guys in bar. But it was not a fault of the hotel neither staff. Staff was super amazing and did they best to make our stay comfortable. Have to mention that Mr. Mano made our stay so remarkable. Special credit goes to Mr. Mano and the team. Foods were really delicious and proper hygienic conditions were well maintained! Gave a 5 stars specially because of the hospitality!! Cheers!!

Very beautiful place. Very clean. It’s not a hotel but a very nice place to stay. Very clean place. Tasty food. If you want to spend some quiet time away from the hazel of the cities this is the place. The caretaker anjana is a wonderful person. He will make you feel at home. The rest of the staff very supportive. I recommend this place to anyone who would like a tranquil holiday.

The room is small, it is cold at night, the heater can not be turned on for a long time, it will automatically trip, but the service is good, old-style British service, breakfast is simple but very regular, afternoon tea is a try, after all, it is the most authentic British. The room is small, but the furniture is too large to affect walking. Billiard room, reading room, mix lounge bar, etc. are all worth trying. Fining restaurant dinner must be formal. Don't eat Chinese food around, just enjoy the sun in the garden
