This hotel is having a restaurant and serves good food at a reasonable price. Staff is very polite. In fact they took pains in collecting a back pack from the monastery which we had left by oversight. Parking is available. Rooms are clean and hygiene. Worth the money. Will visit again in future. There are plenty of small restaurants and eateries nearby this hotel if anyone wants to try different delicacy.

|3.18km from city centerI booked a stay for me and my two family members and I book Chimbalhar Heights, Palampur through makemytrip.com. I booked Deluxe room and I read what Amenities are included in my stay. So I packed my bags as per my booking. But tye worst experience started when I went there. My room didn't had any Toiletries, No Toilet Tissue Roll, No water.. nothing was there. I was so annoyed and irritated with the staff because when you asked them to provide these items, it took them 5hours to provide me all the items. Towel was also not there in the bathroom. And I spoke to the owner who is Retired Captain from the Indian Army and on phone he sounded very promising and professional but when you reach there... you have to be on your own risk because either you will be fighting with the staff to get the items delivered in your room or you will end up being irritated on yiur vacation. I think makemytrip.com should investigate these properties first and then list them on their portal. In the end, I would just say that please investigate throughly before booking through makemytrip.com because some Fraudulent hotels like Chimbalhar Heights are also registered on their portal.

Very comfortable rooms- clean, practical and luxurious. The swimming pool is well maintained and a pleasant experience. The food is par excellence- be it Indian, Continental, or local food. We did the village walking tour with Ashu as our guide. It was very interesting and educative. The Kaleshwar Mahadev temple is worth a visit . We went for a picnic lunch at the Pong reservoir- were provided with a tasty packed lunch by the hotel. Also did Jwalaji temple. We had the local Dham food followed by Malai baraf- finger licking good. Yummy stuff. We also had a Ghazal evening by a local troupe- which was an interesting experience.

|Jai BhawanWe stayed at this property for two nights in the suite room. It was a good room with all facilities. The property is surrounded by fruit trees. The owners are very nice and friendly people and suggested quite a few walking routes to us to explore the place. They took care of all our needs during the stay. However the food and the staff both need an overhaul. They were the only let downs during our stay. The property has a lot more to offer than it currently does in terms of engaging the guests. For instance, the walking routes could be shared with all the guests ***** with a route map. The village in which the property is situated has been declared a heritage village but when we explored it we did not find anything worthy of interest. Though it has a lot of potential to engage tourists which the owners / management of the property can develop.

The entire property seems to be a newly built. Have a lift. Have a spacious covered parking. Staffs here are very polite, humble and always ready to help. Not much options for breakfast but what we ordered from the kitchen, was served quickly. Taste of the food is delicious. Overall an awesome property if you want to stay very closer to bhagaunag temple and the waterfall.

Rooms as well as toilets are clean & spacious. The view from the room balcony is beautiful. You can see the paragliders gliding through the clear blue sky from the balcony. The staffs are very polite & prompt. The food quantity & price is also quite reasonable. A little bit improvement is needed as far as the taste of some dishes is concerned. |21.36km from city centerWe stayed at DragonI for a whole month and it was the best decision of this staycation- Quiet surroundings, unobstructed view of ice capped mountains, unlimited social media worthy sceneries, For working remotely it is the best place because they have gardens , dining hall , large balconies so you can pick your workspace as per your mood We even converted one of our rooms into an office complete with study tables and pantry River point was my favourite hangout spot which is at a walking distance from DragonI As a girl I found this hotel very safe and secure, the staff is very cooperative and friendly, When I fell sick they even provided steamer, thermometer , heater etc A good place to get away from city life and other tourists crowd - I wish I can go back to DragonI again!

Washrooms are not having proper functioning like no water in washbasin. Leakage in bathroom. There is no one to receive you when you enter the hotel. We waited for 20 minutes no one came to collect our luggage. The staff at reception is not so helpful. Management is not good. We were 6 adults and one kid. We have done the booking also. Manager said you guys are 9 people but have done the bookings for 6 only. That’s the hospitality of this hotel. After one day we were only guests left and at dinner the restaurant said that tandoori menu can’t be opened as the occupancy is low. We told at reception the person said that’s restaurants call. I said we have given the money for the all said facilities and amenities but the receptionist said no you have given only the room rent not for other things. In amenities list there is written fireplace and bonfire (paid. So we demanded fireplace in the restaurant to start they denied first and then said it’s chargeable. there is gym mentioned also but they said no its in shimla only. Food is also ok ok. Special mention for staff - night receptionist is not so helpful have a different attitude like we are demanding something out of this world. Rest all staff was helpful. Overall experience is ok. Management should be more concerned about customer. We felt that they do not care. The view is great though. Location is also good. Im not against the hotel but this kind of experience is new in 20 years.

Staff behaviour was so polite specially housekeeping manager Mr Rajeev Choudary, he knows very well how to handle guest and what is guest exception. Other staff of Housekeeping who did clean my room they guys were super they did litterly proper clean and proper set-up my belongings. You can walk and keep exploring the colorful markets with all ******* stuff. Great food, amazing breakfast options, own parking, great staff, and hygiene conditions. Some of the cons are the absence of a dental kit, room slippers, and suffocating rest rooms. But these things are manageable when it comes to hill station. Rest, you can always park your vehicle at a nearby parking spot by himachal tourism by paying a nominal sum. Rest, the view from the hotel is lovely.

It had a common work place and a rooftop cafe with amazing views of the town. They had jamming sessions at the cafe during the night. One of the drawbacks was that you had to take 100 stairs to reach the property. This was my 6th Zostel property.

We had booked a room in the old(er) wing and are glad we didn’t stay there; the new wing is the way to go! The rooms are just a short walk from the parking area. And there were views of snow covered mountains from the grounds. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Our evening meal had to be ordered in advance, but as a result it was ready without a long wait and served to us in a high ceiling dining room. Breakfast was notable for the large portions and excellent omelette. Contrary to many reviews the swimming pool was full and other than the water temperature there was nothing to stop us having a swim. The manager was very pleasant and went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.

As this was my first experience in Zostel kareri and I am glad that i choose to stay here. Zostel plus kareri has such an unbeatable Vibe and all wanted to say this place feels like a home in the nature. The rooms and bathroom were very neat and clean. They have a beautiful common room with a view overlooking the beautiful valley and the snow-clad mountains and ***** with a pool, tree house, outside venue to dine. So many facilities under one roof at zostel give such an unimaginable feel. The meals here feel like they are prepared with love and served with all the more of it. You can end up finding nice people to go for short treks around and they have a similar vibe which make it more great and comfortable. Zostel Kareri specially kudos to your team ( Nitesh, Mukesh & Sunil). Thank you for making this short stay such a memorable and definately i would love to visit again and recommend it to all.

Location of the property, conveniently located on Palampur Road, with tea gardens in the backyard. 2. The room size is spacious (Super Deluxe Mountain View with Balcony) with a clear view of Dhauladhar Peaks overlooking an open garden 3. Cleanliness is good, both in rooms and overall. The Ok - 1. Food was good but the first day they didn't have breakfast buffet so it was made to order, no complaints there though. 2. Staff were courteous but cold in their behaviour except the supervising manager who looked enthusiastic. 3. The bathroom was bit dimly lit that made it appear dirty, request to look into this. The Bad - 1. Considering Palampur is an offbeat destination, the price charged seemed on the heavier side. There was something missing in the overall stay, perhaps because of less visitors as it was weekdays and nothing specific that would make the stay memorable. Anybody visiting Palampur can opt for this if the stay is short because except Bir Billing and Baijnath Temple, Palampur per se has nothing much to offer.

A relatively newly built property offering all the modern amenities to its guests to keep them comfortable and joyous. One of few hotels at Jwalaji which offers valet parking for its guests. The front desk reception is awesome with special mention for Pawan Sharma Ji who swiftly completed the check in process. But the best part are the rooms. The rooms are an epitome of everything chic and comfy on offer. Quite spacious with neat and clean bathrooms is an added advantage. Beautiful aesthetics and stupendous Koff lighting on roof make room look more beautiful. There is a nice balcony as well in the room with awesome views of Jwalaji city. I have held back one star for following: a) There should be complimentary breakfast included as well b) Hotel should provide welcome drink to its guests particularly those who are coming after a long travel Tip : Ask for balcony rooms on top floors at front for stunning views
