This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is located very close to Lausanne train station, the service staff is very professional and enthusiastic, they responded to my request immediately and it was a very good experience.

The hotel is a circular building with a garden in the center and the rooms are on the ring. I wanted a bigger space so I booked a room with three single beds. The room is on the third floor facing the inner garden and is very quiet. The gym is on the basement floor, connected to a sauna. On the door of the unisex sauna is a sign that reads ”Please respect the culture of others.” It is very close to the train station, a 3-5 minute walk. From the train station to the hotel, you need to climb a 30-degree steep slope, and those with large and heavy luggage need to climb slowly. However, Lausanne itself is a mountain city with ups and downs everywhere. The hotel provides a free transportation card, and there is a subway station next to the hotel, which is very convenient for travel. This transportation card allows you to take the train to the surrounding vineyards for free, such as the small town of CULLY. If you go further to Lavaux, you will have to pay.

The hotel is very well placed for the travellers, the station is at two steps. The service is at the economy, self-check-in almost imposed because one receptionist and a row before the reception.

Overall, it is quite good. There is a royal atmosphere.

Single room, not big but with basic facilities, room number on the carpet at the door, small electric kettle for boiling water, sockets in room with Swiss, British, European and American standards, WiFi throughout the hotel. The view from the top floor breakfast room is very good, you can see Lake Geneva in the distance and the French town on the other side, but unfortunately the sunrise is late in winter, it should be beautiful in summer, breakfast is basic, not too many varieties, taste is also satisfactory. The location of the hotel is very convenient, the front desk will give you a Lausanne transportation pass, you can take all Lausanne indoor public transportation for free during your stay (excluding boat tickets to Evian), 50 meters walk to M2 subway Grancy station, you can go to Ouchy Pier or the old town in two directions, 3 minutes walk to Lausanne Railway Station, 5 minutes walk to Coop supermarket, daily necessities can be bought, you can also take a bus nearby to EPFL.

The hotel is located in the centre of Lausanne, within walking distance of the train station and the Lausanne Cathedral. The hotel has a European feel. Although the facilities are relatively old, the rooms are large and clean, and the balcony can see the city and lake views. Room service is attentive. If the waist is not good, you can also add wooden boards, which is also suitable for bringing children and children.

Go from Lausanne Railway Station to pay attention to take M1 subway station, remember not to walk to the mountain. Close to the subway station, very convenient, the front desk staff is very good.

Nice location, modern room, fair price. Carpet is totally wet at the entrance. Shower is stuck and the bathroom became a swimming pool. Likely happened to guest before me. I mentioned but they didn’t do anything nor suggest to change the room. A pity
