Good value for the money. Place was pleasantly decorated, clean. And fresh. Our room was large and comfortable, the bathroom very clean and shower was hot. No musty smell we frequently encounter in the room. Breakfast was adequate, coffee decent. Great for a short stay. Close to restaurants and shops.From$79

Overall, a good experience. Nice room, quiet, helpful staff. We chose this hotel since the Hampton Inn (our usual choice) was too expensive. Complimentary coffee in the lobby available only during the morning vs. all day like some other hotels. No complimentary fresh fruit available. Very high prices for snacks and drinks sold in the lobby. The female staff member behind the check-in desk on the evening shift did not smile once during our three night stay. She was civil and business-like but never smiled with us or anyone else that we saw. She would often set out the ”Away from the desk helping others” sign but she was just in the back room. The day shift people were smiling and friendly as was the woman running the bar.From$130

I have been here for an unfortunately extended stay, but the staff here has made that unfortunately long stay very homey and relaxing. To those who complain about bugs riding on their luggage as they come into the hotel, please remember that you are in fact on planet earth, and there are more bugs in one state than people in the world lol The crew always keeps things tidy, the breakfast options are inclusive, and I've not had one bad experience during my entire stay. The hotel is nice. I practically live in hotels, especially Marriotts. So, I have my fair share of ups and downs. Some of the downs were, there was no soap. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for soap, and i stayed for an entire week straight and they only serviced the room once during the stay. I know some properties nowadays clean or service once every other day now, but once in an entire week is a bit much. Now, you’re getting to the point of needing to ask to replace toilet paper and tissue paper. Not to mention the stockpile of recycling and garbage. Pre-COVID, there was a program that was optional, to have your room serviced once every 3 days or five and you’d get bonus points as the guest. Now, the option is taken away with the hotels saving a great deal of money on not servicing as often, but now you are sacrificing the quality of the institution of the property itself. It’s a Courtyard. However, I recently returned from several weeks in Central America. It was amazing. They’d make animals out of towels, clean the room daily, everything was pristine, breakfast was included and was as great as some breakfasts I’ve had at JW Marriott properties. But Courtyards in the U.S. don’t have breakfast included, not even for Titanium or Ambassador Elite members. So, not all of the same name brand are created equal. I’ve stayed at several Courtyards in California that stand out from the rest. So, it depends. The suite was great. There’s no gym at the moment, it’s under construction. Plenty of parking and tons of things nearby. I’d stay again. But, hopefully they’d address servicing the room more than once a week.From$131

Frederick
|2.65km from city centerThis is an extended stay place, not a typical hotel room. You have a room with a bed, a table with two chairs, a fridge, microwave, two-burner stove top, and a dresser. You can purchase a cooking kit and a dinnerware kit. NOTHING is provided for cooking/eating. There's no guest lounge with (terrible) continental breakfast, because this is an extended stay and nobody wants to eat that terrible breakfast day in and day out, plus it adds to the cost of the stay. If you are looking for hotel amenities, book a room in a regular hotel. The staff was helpful. The room was comfortable. There are actually people staying here, so sometimes there was a little noise. But we did not feel that the place was noisy or that there were any safety issues. Thanks for a great stay!

|4.91km from city centerWe were comfortably ensconced in our room, ready to head out to a Frederick Keys game, when my son noticed the lack of a shower curtain in the bathroom. I told the front desk person. Instead of scoffing at me, she walked upstairs, confirmed the lack of a curtain, and immediately moved us to a new room. Kudos for the great customer service. The four stars aren't for that. It's for two other items. First, it isn't hard to program flatscreen TVs to see the right channels on the program guide. Beats playing a guessing game through 60 channels. Second, they should consider bumping up their breakfast selections. The hotel is off a busy road with direct access to I-70. People want to fuel up before a big drive.

|1.97km from city centerStayed here while in town for ice hockey at Skate Frederick. Nowadays, it is hard to find a hotel with two bedrooms in one room. This place has it, and it worked out great. My wife and I took the room with the king-size bed, and the two teenagers took the room with two double beds. Worked out perfectly. The room itself was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We were greeted as Best Western Rewards Members instantly upon arrival, which was nice. The hotel is kind of in a residential area, but that mattered not to us, as we ate downtown before arriving. Only a small complaint was that none of the TVs worked until our teenagers did whatever they did to make them functional. Otherwise, it was a great stay and will definitely stay here again, as we will have games at Skate Frederick sporadically the next 5 years.

|3.83km from city centerNo extra service, just standard. They booked us 60+ on the fourth floor & then told us the elevator was not working! They were booked so nothing could be done. Glad one of us didn’t have a wheelchair! Disappointed in Sleep Inn, I expected a little more friendliness/welcoming. I also booked a non smoking room. When we finally climbed 4 flights of steps due to elevator broken, opened the door to the Room & it smelled smokey & the air conditioner was turned off! It was steaming hot in the room! I won’t be booking at this hotel anymore. Very disappointed Sleep Inn- Frederick, Maryland!!!

|4.95km from city centerWhen I got here, I was excited about the clean and spacious room and was thinking I'd found a great new place to stay; however, this is definitely a one time stay for me courtesy of rude and unhelpful front desk staff. As a business traveler, I have extremely long and hectic days. I was little surprised and concerned when I saw that ”quiet hours” don't start until 11:00 p.m. Sure enough, around 9:15 a group of people started making a ton of noise not far from my room. On the rare occasions that has happened at Hilton, when I called the front desk they sent someone up to locate the sound and dealt with it. When I called the front desk here, the woman said she couldn't do anything about it if I couldn't give her a room number. Already in bed, I wasn't really looking to get dressed start walking the halls. As with many situations, the way she said it was probably more off-putting than what she said, even though I would've thought she might've cared enough to come up/send someone up. I asked if I could move rooms and she sounded annoyed but said I could. Then a few minutes later she called back, said there aren't any groups staying near me, and that quite hours don't start until 11:00 so if it's still noisy after 11 THEN I can move rooms. I never lost my temper but I told her that 11:00 is pretty late to begin quiet hours and she said, again in a pissy tone, that no matter what people will be unhappy so this is what was decided. Newsflash: quiet hours or not, any time a paying guest is miserable in their room and unable to rest because of other guests, the hotel staff should be willing to either do something about the noise or accommodate the unhappy guest. I stay in hotels every other week 52 weeks a year and this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. This is definitely not a good hotel for anyone who shows up exhausted and needing to sleep during a business trip full of long days. Who would've thought the Red Roof Inn hotels would have better customer service than Springhill Suites - and for $79?!

|2.33km from city centerThe room was clean and spacious. The desk staff was pleasant. The bed slept great and wasn’t bad for the money. The WiFi was bad. In my room anyways. Would not log in long enough to do anything. There was a huge empty space between the bed and bathroom. A table would have nicely filled the void. Had to run the water quite awhile before it got warm enough to get in the tub. No refrigerator. But, good enough for a one night stay.

|1.45km from city centerI was in town for the Frederick Running Festival, and this hotel was walkable to the fairgrounds where we needed to go. It is cinvenient, comfortable and (most important) clean. The manager Ragy was very helpful, and when we were unable to make it to breakfast, he provided us with a bagged one.

|3.92km from city centerWhen I checked in, there was a mix up about my room type. But the very friendly and helpful front desk staff quickly handled and corrected the mix up. The staff is very friendly! There was no housekeeping service because of labor issues. But they were quick to provide us with additional towels and take away our trash. They have complimentary coffee and hot water all day! There are snacks, beverages, and liquor that can be purchased in the lobby. One complaint is that the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would like. The crevices in the shower and corners of the bathroom were disgusting. There was a long hair that did not belong to me or my husband in the shower, stuck to the shower gel. We had a suite and the bathroom was not near the bedroom, which is where the closet and dresser was. This made getting dressed complicated since I had to walk back and forth to get to my clothes and toiletries. Additionally, after using the bathroom, you have to touch the doorknob to get out of the bathroom-before you can wash your hands. So, be sure to sanitize that doorknob! It was nice to be able to open the window for fresh air. However, there was green mold growing in the window. The location is close to shopping and restaurants. Overall, the accommodations were reasonable for the price.
