Stayed for my husband birthday. Our room was beautiful. The bar staff were amazing and served amazing cocktails. We stayed B&B and evening meal in the Pullmans. The food was good. And the opportunity to be in a carriage of the Orient Express was lovely idea. Good night had by all. Thank you.From$241

very friendly staff SPA area is one of the highlights, warm pool with various built in jacuzzi / water jet installations to relax your body or give it a targeted water jet massage. comfortable, heated relaxation beds. (Turkish) steam room and (Finnish) sauna. Gym is a ”pass”: it has various cardio and weight lifting apparel. Probably right for the size of the hotel, but could offer more. Very nice bar / restaurant area, stylishly equipped. Food is also good. no breakfast buffet (which is good from a food waste point of view). Instead you can get any breakfast freshly prepared for you. And the eating times are really short. booking, arrival and departure went smoothly. Suggest you book over the hotel platform. Perfect Central Hotel 17 of us, yes Seventeen went for a three night stay at Jurys Inn this past weekend. Amazing service. Staff are so welcoming and under pressure as such a busy place. Nothing was too much trouble. Sorry we don't have his name, but a very tall man from California served the majority of us on arrival and was delightful. Explained that our rooms would not be cleaned daily as there was a staff shortage. None of us were concerned about this and all got daily clean towels and loo roll. Breakfast is very good for those who enjoy a cooked breakfast, which we all did. As we were all from UK €14.00 is expensive for a breakfast but it's certainly cheaper than elsewhere as we experienced by searching for somewhere else on our second day. We went in the peak time of an Oyster festival and agreed we would all return when it's less busy at the hotel and possibly cheaper. Thank you Jurys Inn for the fans for the rooms too. From$102

Nice hotel. We had a family room which was grand for 2 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space. The rooms though are a little old and run down. Location is fine, less than 5 mins from Eyre square. Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice. As I mentioned the hotel rooms need an update. From$179

|1.92km from city centerChecked in to the hotel on 1st day of 2020, staffs were nice and friendly, however there are still some pros and cons for this hotel. The hotel was quite far from the city Centre it takes approximately 20 Minutes of walk, for those who doesnt want to walk may take a bus which will take u around 5 minutes for 2 euros. However, amenities are good it does provides what a hotel is supposed to give, room was big and comfy the bed and pillow makes me don’t wanna get off the bed. Staffs were very helpful I asked the receptionist to print some document for me and he printed it out for me in Juz a few seconds. Overall it’s a good hotel for couples or people who have car or doesn’t mind walking to the city Centre for 20 minutes, which I am

Galway
|1.24km from city centerClassic B & B in an old and charming house but with updated rooms that are bright and comfortable. Our room was well layed out with plenty of closet space for luggage and clothes. The bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is quite big and the water pressure in the shower is superb. We did not realize the innkeepers are twins until first breakfast in the morning when both were serving customers together. We had to do a double take. It is very cute. The breakfast was ample and of good quality w/all the components of a hearty Irish breakfast. The staff is constantly replenishing the hot dishes, fruits, yogurt, etc. It fueled us so we could go on and start the day filled with touristy activities. Someone commented on how small the dining room is but we found it to be cozy. We never had to wait for a table and we went down at various times during our stay. We walked everywhere from the B & B and it was super easy to get to the town square, the old town, good restaurants, bus station, train station plus the stops to be picked up by all the day trip operators. We would have no reservation in recommending this fine establishment to our families and friends.

Galway
|9.9km from city centerWhat a lovely location, a gorgeous hotel and the swimming pool was great with the added bonus of an outside hot tub overlooking the sea. My room was 631 with a large king bed, desks, adequate bathroom with bath and shower, seats with table, desk and TV and all the usual facilities in a hotel room. No sockets by the bed though which is something all hotels need to have now but that was the only criticism of the room.
Staff where lovely, helpful and friendly although I give 4 stars as check-in didnt happen for 10 minutes due to no staff being at the reception, no idea why but it got sorted OK.
The hotel is clean, the room was clean, well presented and very welcoming. I had breakfast which was the normal cooked breakfast buffet, toasts, pancakes, breads, cereals, tea or coffee, juices with plenty of seating options and a view of the sea. The staff were great, the food was good and the atmosphere relaxed. The view gives you a great start to the day.
I used the pool which was great. Some families there with kids, a swimming lane, working steam room, sauna and heated jacuzzi. The outside hottub is amazing. It is a must do at this hotel. It was raiing on my stay so the outside tennis court and kids play area werent being used but its worth a mention that they have these.
Location feels remote but its only 5-10 minutes from Salthill and Galway by car. There is a petrol station beside the hotel on the main road and a small village. I guess you access the hotel by car, taxi or bus.

Galway
|3.43km from city centerA very overdue review but didn’t want to not leave it. Had a lovely stay here in May. Staff were so kind and helpful. Room much bigger than expected (family room) and very quiet – even when we saw a raucous looking hen night setting up and then didn’t hear a squeak from it all night. Lovely pool and whilst there were lessons going on we still had ample space to swim and change. Really enjoyed our stay and felt it was well priced for the standard. Only con is that the buses aren’t as regular as hoped especially through the weekend so we had to take more taxis as expected as town was a hefty walk away (and hire car prices seem to have gone crazy in Ireland!). But will come back for sure. Thank you!

|2.04km from city centerThe deciding factor in choosing this hotel is free parking. Facts have proved to be very wise. What is surprising is that the hotel facilities are very sophisticated and the breakfast is delicious, especially the smoked salmon. About 30 minutes walk to the town, the hotel reception lady is beautiful and enthusiastic, and helped us book a 2017 Michelin restaurant to eat raw oysters. It was great, and it would be difficult to eat without a reservation.

I would definitely recommend getting the breakfast, they have fantastic choices, everything was delicious .
I will definitely come back to this hotel. Galway is absolutely amazing too, maybe a 15min walk into centre, but taxi was cheap so that's how we travelled.

|0.83km from city centerWe had a very nice time at the Hyde Hotel in Galway. It is very centrally located which was helpful for anyone without a car. It was also just a 3 minute walk from the train station, which was very convenient. All the staff was very helpful, gave us recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We got the Bed and Breakfast option, and it was definitely worth it. Their breakfast was delicious, we especially liked the pancakes. Our only slight disappointment was that our room did not have A/C, but the window did open to get fresh air and they had a fan in our room which helped. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Galway.

|1.68km from city centerJameson Court was our home away from home on our first international trip as a family. The apartment was spotless and had every utensil/appliance we needed. The furniture was extremely comfortable. The entire apartment was so spacious. The location was perfect! So much to do in the area, but the apartment itself was quiet so we and our kids could sleep in peace. Our girls had such a fun time, they were crying when we checked out! I feel so grateful for the time we spent in Salthill at Jameson Court. It was truly the perfect place for our family. We have already decided when we return to Ireland we will be staying there again! *If you have young kids, there is a playground, arcade, and sandy beach all within walking distance. *There’s a variety of restaurants within 3-5 minutes walk. *We walked into Galway City Center several times. The walk is about 15-20 minutes, but flat and peaceful.

|0.16km from city centerIt's always difficult to tell online when researching hotels if it's a good location, good service, etc. The location is hard to beat as it's right where the action is. The music does seem to go late every night (not just the weekends) so if you have a room facing the front, keep that in consideration if you're a light sleeper. Service was ok, there was a day where our room was missed so we had to inform the front desk. The front desk was very helpful. The room size was quite good for us. I would definitely recommend.

|0.73km from city centerThe hostel was easy to spot on the corner of the Square when i got off the bus at the station and it was a warm welcome and efficient check in to a clean and airy room with a view onto the corner of Ayre Square. The beds were comfy enough and the bathrooms were clean. I appreciated the breakfast, which was simple but ample, and with a slight local twist. The atmosphere was good in the hostel throughout my 3 days there, and this is in part due to work of the staff. I'd particularly like to mention Tom, who was always friendly and provided good tips and suggestions when asked. The only drawback would come if you are a light sleeper. It's in a great location but remember it's a hostel in Galway right above a bar. It does get quiet for a few hours before daybreak at least. I did feel tired after 3 nights. I would go back though, but maybe for one or two night next time!

|0.61km from city centerWe visited for two nights, the first of which was our anniversary. We were provided expedited access as we arrived early, and a lovely and thoughtful welcome amenity. The hotel is located within walking distance from the city center, the complimentary parking in an attached garage is a huge benefit, and the breakfast included with our room was filling and tasty. The room was spotless and very large, and the bed comfortable. The uniformly helpful, professional, and pleasant staff made the visit more than the sum of its parts. They really were first-rate. I recommend this property without (so to speak) reservation.

|0.81km from city centerI write this review at the risk of not being able to get a room the next time I’m in Galway! The rooms are small and this seems to be the biggest criticism but they are not that small and more than enough space for a couple. We were easily able to open two large suitcases without being inconvenienced in walking around the room. The room itself was immaculately clean and the bedding and bathroom which was actually surprisingly big as good as you get in many 4.5 star hotels. I’m pleased to recommend The Lane Hotel for couples travelling. You won’t get anywhere better for the price or location in all of Ireland. Let me give a huge shout out of appreciation for the beautiful man in reception. PS: be sure to book early for one of only three parking spots.

|0.74km from city centerThe hotel is right next to the bus station, the El Square is just across the road, there is a visitor center across the road, and there is a question to ask directly. We are going to Asford Castle the next day. The staff at the visitor center helped us check the bus time and booked a taxi for us. The hotel's facilities are very distinctive, the interior is old-fashioned, the beds are old, similar to our beds of the 780s, but very clean. The entire hotel room is partially filled with the smell of disinfectant. The hotel breakfast was delicious and the rest were average.

|0.6km from city centerWe had been to a family christening at Tully Cross where we had spent two nights. Having stopped and had lunch in Galway a few months before the outbreak of covid we had decided that we would like to have a stop over the next time we passed through and as we were to pick up and later drop off a hire car it was ideal. We made the booking at the Skeffington Arms online a couple of months before. From arriving on the Monday to leaving on the Wednesday we were made to feel very welcome. The location was ideal for us being very central and within walking distance of the coach station for our return journey to Dublin Airport. Our room was a very good size and with the weather we were experiencing the air conditioning in our was most welcome. From our arrival to our departure the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. We would have liked to have stayed longer but due to work commitments this wasn't possible. A very enjoyable stay, over too soon. Steve and Linda from West Yorkshire

|2.9km from city center Welcoming service at check in, a beautiful hotel just from the lobby and into our lovely room, both spacious and modern. With lovely comfortable beds and very soft pillows. Great shower no problem with hot water as well as plenty of clean, fluffy towels. We also ordered a fridge which was very handy with the warm weather. Very good WIFI .My only problem with the room was I would prefer lockers instead of drawer-less tables and instead of open cabinet . Not great storage without drawers, as the only one was in the bathroom. The food is this hotel is the best food we have had in all our hotel breaks in Galway. The choice for breakfast is very good but their dinner menu is great and there is great choice for everyone no matter what your food choice might be, with vegetarian and vegan options also. The staff through out the whole hotel are lovely and very helpful, especially Chinma who was so helpful during our meals in the evening. The standard of how clean this hotel is the best I have seen in all my stays in Galway, thank you for a lovely stay as we will be back.
