Very well and centrally located between the pedestrian zone and the park, underground car park available. The hotel is not easy to reach by car due to the traffic layout in the city centre.
Unfortunately, no one will help you with your luggage at check-in, even if you ask.
But overall very friendly staff, a tiny bit slow.
Good breakfast buffet and very good! Having lunch. The restaurant has a beautiful courtyard facing the city park.
In the evening piano music in the bar, very good, unusual cocktails.
Nice room with everything you need, good beds, no coffee maker in the room.
Overall definitely recommended! We will stay there again.

This hotel is very expensive, half price, but the location is super good. Remind everyone of two things, First, you can drive to the hotel entrance, but the navigation will be problematic. It should extend west of the highway ring outside the old city, from north to south (ie, Boulevard Royal to the south), turn left into Rue Nutre-Dame, 50 meters. Turn left into Rue Philippe II, cross two small streets, pass the Hermes Hermes store, turn right. Second, the hotel is mainly for luxury stores and downtown attractions, but all the businesses in the city (90%) are closed on Sundays, so try not to live in this hotel on Sunday, it is very boring.From$404

Well, the penthouse-like restaurant: definitely one of the most splendid views of a capital city in Europe, slightly as breathtaking as the other vis-à-vis I had in this very restaurant on Saturday the 15th of July: an exquisite smile on a lonesome dark-haired woman right before me, later at breakfast, surely a daughter of Aphrodite she is! As available, I should have applied for late checkout on Sunday morning instead of leaving behind her at the reception desk, (sigh) weekends are always too short! So yes, all views considered, splendid breakfast in the restaurant (dining slightly less splendid as one view was missing)! ;) More seriously, this train station is only 10 min afoot away, so you can admire the city as making your way up there. Also, very nice single room, copious dishes, pleasant desserts (the mango was nicely done) and all that a caring personnel! On that note, a very nice weekend in this hotel, I'll definitely be back next year, hopefully to admire again the exact same views! To all the hotel personnel: Thanks for your service!From$240

I also checked the hotel's check-in terms on booking and it was the same, but the hotel asked me to check out at 11:00. After I complained, the staff told me that it was okay to give me a half-hour extension. I didn't want the extra fee. The discounts only require the due rights. The experience of this stay is very poor.

Oops is this a mistake but when you enter the hotel and hear the soft music and see the decor we started to relax. A lovely mature gentleman greeted us and checked us in. The room was clean and comfortable. Trams and buses are free in the city. You can walked to the old section of Luxembourg city in about 20 minutes. We would walk and then take the tram back. A lovely old hotel with plenty of charm.

I must say that all the hotel staff are extremely polite and attentive. The hotel has an old-fashioned style, but it is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our room was very spacious and cozy. The reception staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They provided great recommendations on places to visit and, even though the hotel was fully booked, they managed to accommodate our request for rooms next to each other, which was a huge plus for our family.
The buffet breakfast was impressive, with a clean and hygienic setup and a wide variety of options. The only suggestion I have is to add labels to each food item, so guests know exactly what’s being served. Despite this minor detail, the breakfast was delicious and satisfying.
The rooms were also very clean and well-maintained, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Luxembourg.

The room was modern with a safe, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, and built-in wall radio Rooms with modern decor and soundproof. The bathroom was nice with a big shower. The reception staff Sabir was very helpful. Free Wi-Fi is available. We did not have breakfast. All trams and buses are free to use. Walking distance to the tourist section. The staff is very friendly and looks like an old building, but the rooms are spacious and clean.
It may be noisy outside because it is in the city center, but not enough to sleep.
It is great to have a restaurant connected to the hotel, there are many restaurants and bars nearby.
Breakfast is included, but it was Corona time, so I ordered breakfast
I bought bread, eggs, juice and yogurt, but the breakfast was delicious

The bus stop to/from the airport (No.29) is a short walk and there is a tram to the city centre around the corner (though it's only a 10 minute walk to the town centre if the weather is good). Our room itself was very clean and comfortable, other than check in we didn't have much interaction with staff but check in was quick and friendly. We didn't choose breakfast so can't comment on that. There are quite a few bars and places to each close to the hotel.

There are plenty of parking spaces on the ground floor of the hotel, and there is also an underground parking lot, and parking is free. So it was very convenient for us to drive here.

|0.22km from city centerLuxembourg was the 2nd of our 3 hotel/3 city tour around Europe. Hotel Simoncini was our clear favorite. I’ll start with the staff which was amazingly friendly. We arrived early but were a bit ill from some bad food the night before. While I couldn’t check us in immediately, they made sure we could get into our room much earlier than planned to rest it off. They also provided a few recommendations. The room itself was great. Very clean, spacious, and ♿ accessible. Free, strong wifi allowed for planning last minute details on our trip while hanging low. Breakfast is included and a solid offering. A small buffet with the option to get eggs any style for most of the morning. We took advantage once our appetite returned. Finally, location was great. Public transportation is free in the city and the hotel is a short walk from several bus routes and the tram. It took us less than 10 minutes to get to the train station. The hotel is also right downtown where most of the major attractions are. We didn’t quite fit everything in thanks to the slow start but it was easy to get to what we did want to do.

The service was friendly. The snacks for the evening could be better, however the breakfast selection was good. There were scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs available along with a variety of meats and cheeses, fruits, breads, sweets. Based on restaurant breakfast expenses the value is good. Getting a taxi upon check out was sketchy, asked the desk to order one for the next day, the next day didn’t know which entrance it would be coming to and ended up having to hail one for ourselves out front.

Room was clean and this hotel was a fantastic base for our trip to the Belgium Grand Prix at Spa - approx 75 min drive. The local shuttle bus into Luxembourg was over the road with frequent buses into town taking approx 20 mins. All public transport in Luxembourg is free so we visited town in the evening for some lovely food.

The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom was fantastic and complete with a large walk-in shower. The property location was PERFECT - right in the heart of the city close to ALL the major attractions. Our apartment overlooked a very lovely garden behind the building. Although we were in the city, it felt as though we were in the suburbs. I have saved the best for last. My wife and I travel the entire world on a full-time basis. Wherever we are at the time is our ”home”. Because of this, the quality of the apartment staff (or hotels on the rare occasion we are in a hotel) is paramount to us. We had one of the best experiences with the property manager at CCLA Luxembourg that we have had anywhere in the world. I am referring to Jerome who was the property manager during our time at CCLA. He was wonderful to communicate with prior to our arrival and during our stay. He was very kind, and wanted to ensure our apartment was comfortable and that we would enjoy our stay. He was an EXCELLENT representative of the CCLA Luxembourg and we enjoyed chatting with him each day during our stay at CCLA!

Shower is a handheld sprayer - sprayed water all over bathroom, needed to use all our towels to mop up the flood; the drain in the bathroom was coming apart and floating around our feet; ”King” sized bed is actually two twins pushed together. Our ”Suite” is a room on a very busy noisy street. Ancient hotel with small minimal cosmetic changes. No in-room temperature controls, room was hot af (but couldn't open windows - see below). No blackout curtains. Hotel did not advise us 3 blocks around hotel were to be repaved on our weekend stay. Could not use hotel parking, had to park on street 2 blocks away. Crews started work at 6am on both Saturday and Sunday morning. Stinky asphalt and huge construction trucks. We realize this is out of the hotel's purview, but no notification from the hotel. Crickets. Nowhere near city center. If you choose this hotel, INSIST on park view room, call a few days ahead to get this guarantee. Would not recommend under any and all circumstances.

|2.62km from city centerBe careful not to get this one mixed up with the other central hotel in Luxembourg, this one is on Rue Du Kiem in Neudorf (short distance to Kirchberg). Yes, there were a few niggles here and there, but my general feelings about the Central were good. The room was nice and modern, the bed comfortable and the room quiet and a comfortable temperature. We visited in October and all was fine, however the hotel does not have any air conditioning, so in the summer months, things may be different. Located in Neudorf, just across the road from the Mercure and close to bus stops. The hotel does have its own basement car park (chargeable), but the buses are so good (and free in Luxembourg) that you can easily manage without a car. Having the small kitchen area with kettle, fridge and microwave was handy. Getting from the airport is easy with just one change at Cents Waassertuerm. Catch the 29 from stop 3 towards Hesperange, Cité Um Schlass (be careful as there are two 29 stops – one for each direction, off at Cents, Waassertuerm. Go to stop 4 and catch the 7 or 25 and get off at Huesegrënnchen. Hotel is just across the road.

As my friends and I had booked this place last minute, we were really glad that they were able to host us and allow us to stay comfortably for the night. So we had to stay in a super hot room for 2 days. We had only 1 chair in the room, although we were 4. I had to request this 2 times only after they brought 2 more chairs. They did not refill our complimentary coffee/ tea. The worst thing is staff does not want to listen to you. After each request they give you short answers and just get over with you. In short words you dont feel like they care about you by in this hotel.

|2.64km from city centerJust completed a 3 day stay while in Lux on business. For me the hotel is in a great location - just 10 minutes from the Centre via the free buses. The stop is literally outside the hotel front door. The hotel was immaculately clean. My room was a really good size with everything you could need. Wifi connection was excellent. Final word is for the lovely people who work here - thank you! You could have not been more helpful or cheerful which is really appreciated. As a regular visitor to Lux and having stayed in many different hotels, this will be my choice of hotel going forward now!
