We stayed at the Swiss Belhotel in Manado a few years ago and it was so good we decided to stay there again in May / June 2023. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the facilities are very clean and there’s a nice pool area which is usually very quiet. The breakfast has a good choice and the room service is really good. The thing that makes it special here are the staff they are really attentive and happy to help. We needed to renew our Visas at Immigration and it’s not the easiest process but the reception manager Yonathan and Marvin drove us to the office and literally did everything for us from providing the sponsorship letter and downloading the forms and help us complete the process. Can’t thank Swiss Belhotel in Manado enough for a lovely stay and for all your help your staff are amazing. Thank you Fiona & DarrenFrom$31

Me and my friends stayed at this hotel for a week. The room is quite large and clean. The staff is friendly. breakfast at the restaurant has a lot of variation but the klappertart menu is only served once a week. Manado porridge is delicious. pasteries are delicious. The fruit is quite fresh and sweet. The location is very strategic. beside the hotel there is indomart. Star Square and Mantos are located very close to this hotel. This hotel does not have seaview but it is quite close to the sea. Beside the left of the hotel, there are many restaurants. Unfortunately there is no hair dryer in the room. Wifi in the room is also often unstable.From$27

1. Since the day before yesterday, there has been a problem with the use of the card in the room. You need to go to the lobby to swipe it many times before you can use it. It's very troublesome to go up and down, but you didn't notice.
2. Yesterday's room card continued to have this problem, from the 3rd floor to the 15th floor to cycle three times to swipe the card.Very poor experience.
3. There wasn't any cleaning of the room today, but I'm sure someone entered the room. And I didn't do anything.
4. When we returned to the hotel at 18:00 this afternoon, the key card continued not to work. The two of us cycled four times from the 3rd floor to the 15th floor, and the key card still did not work until the engineer came to change the battery. During this time, we had just returned from a dive and needed to use the room with our luggage, fatigue and wet clothes, but it took 45 minutes to get into the room. The Aryaduta Manado hotel, once a beacon of hospitality, seems to have dimmed over the years. The potential of this establishment is undeniable, but it's evident that its best days are in the rearview mirror. A noticeable lack of meticulous care on the premises is a disappointment. The grounds aren't kept with the pristine attention one might expect from a hotel of its reputation.
A major letdown is the swimming pool. The water, instead of being crystal clear, is murky, raising concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. This aspect certainly detracts from the overall experience, especially for guests looking forward to a refreshing swim.
On a brighter note, the rooms themselves are satisfactory. The air conditioning works efficiently, which is a relief in the tropical climate of Manado. It's a basic comfort, but in this case, it's done right.
The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a wide selection, which initially seems promising. However, the taste of the dishes fails to live up to their visual appeal. Most of the items lack distinct flavors, leaving a rather bland experience on the palate.
A significant issue we encountered was with the hotel's taxi service. Upon requesting a Kijang taxi to Gorontalo, we were taken aback by the pricing. The hotel charged us an additional 50% commission on the taxi fare, which felt exorbitant and left a sour note on our overall experience.
In conclusion, while Aryaduta Manado has the framework to be a top-tier hotel, it falls short in several areas. The lack of cleanliness in communal areas, underwhelming food, and overpriced services are aspects that urgently need attention. For now, it stands as a reminder of faded glory, needing a rejuvenation to return to its former prestige.From$26

Everything is good for us. After 3 times move from one hotel to another hotel, finally we found a nice hotel with a good price. The only thing bothered us was the sound that we could hear from other room. And the the housekeeping forgot to change into the clean mug and glasses in the room.

But the receptionist and all the staff were nice. At the beginning we enter the building in the basement, where was the elevator, it was really smell smoke. And the floor where was our room also smell smoke. The first room we got actually was nice with the sea view. But the AC was too noise. So we moved to other room. But unfortunetly there was no hot water. The breakfast was simple, but the place where we had breakfast was in the roof with the nice view

Both resorts offer a different vibe as stated but also offer excellent facilities, food, diving and lady but not least great people! All of the staff are consistently friendly, helpful and show off genuine smiles! As a solo diver I felt comfortable, looked after and everyone (staff) easily accessible. There was excellent diving with knowledge guides. I always felt safe yet still had the sense of adventure! I enjoyed all the ‘little’ things as well..the general chats, space to think and breathe and the wonderful nature all around! Both resorts offer a unique experience and equally fantastic in their own ways! Restaurant was really good but we had to wait before being served. Great balinese massage at spa. We had a very nice captain for boat trip to Bunaken or Siladen. Not from grand Luley. Much cheaper. Grand Luley is in a remote area but we had a wonderful week !

|0.8km from city centerWe had 2 wonderful weeks staying at New NDC. This place was considered our first home in Manado under the previous management as we had been coming every year since 1997. As this was a diving trip, we had more luggage than normal and they provided more low tables to place the luggage on. The lights in the bathroom and the walk-in closet were dim and it turn out it was faulty and replaced on the same day. The room was big with a king sized bed, the bathroom had bathtub as well as shower cubicle. Service staff was friendly and hospitable. We were treated as family. As a 4 star hotel, it puts out 5 star meals. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves everyday! Looking forward to return here and seeing everyone again. Many thanks for hosting us.!! 😘😘
