First of all I book to this hotel for the amenities and location . The room is nice and comfortable , although for a 5 star hotel I found a problem in my shower and I told the reception . The swimming pool is good but the water was cold and there’s a dangerous stair to get into it . Gym was great but they only open at 9 am , so business guys who want to work out before going to work , won’t be benefited . Breakfast was good but I missed to have cheese and pancakes .

It was not easy to travel with elderly people aged 88 this time. We were glad that the hotel provided excellent service during our stay and we enjoyed the meal discount offer of the in-house outlets. We loved the Japanese restaurant the most. The hotel staff was very friendly and caring, especially the front desk staff when we checked in. They upgraded our room taking into account an extra bed needed for 3 of us and one is an old age.

Shanghai Attraction Reviews

Getting There - Fly, or if you’re already in China, take the bullet train and watch the countryside roll by. Attractions - You’ll want to hit Shanghai Planetarium, the largest planetarium in the world and a hub of educational fun - fact: the building is also part oculus. Don’t miss a stroll on the Bund at sundown. Or if you’re feeling swanky grab a cocktail at one of the rooftop bars on the waterfront. Pop or Captains perhaps? Hotels - For me it’s always the Raddison Blu in Peoples Square. Reasonably priced, good service, with a pool and spa. Oh, and it’s bang in the city center. Food & Restaurants - Don’t miss Oha Eatery. Chef Thornly fuses western dishes with Guizhou flavour sun a meal that is highly, highly creative and never short of delicious. Shopping - You’ll find everything and more on Nanjing Road. Easily accessed from the Raddison Blu Hotel. #romanticrestaurant#uniquehotel#culturalattractions
Getting There - By subway: Laoximen subway station + a little walk. I personally rode a bike there! Attractions - Buddhist and Taoist temple. The site is absolutely gorgeous!! Hotels - Pretty sure plenty of options near by. It is quite a short visit though so no need to get a hotel near by. Food & Restaurants - Nice little streets around there with little snack shops. Definitely recommend going there. Short visit and beautiful place to see! #summervacation#urbanexplorer
RIO is a Shanghai’s produced cocktail drinks, known as alcopop wine. Alcopop are drinks have 1-7% of alcohol amount and resemblance soft drinks. RIO cocktails 🍹 cost around 8 to 15 RMB, and are made with vodka, gin, white rum or whiskey, and a fruity flavored drink. These drinks are very popular among the Chinese youth, specially girls. RIO Lab is located in Xintiandi area, has a big variety of soft drinks, bubble teas (with and without alcohol), flavored cocktails (additional to those you can find in the stores), smoothies and ice cream 🍨!! Additionally, cakes 🧁 look absolutely gorgeous. RIO Lab is supposed to be all about innovation. The new popular drinks prolly become new mass produced, with odd flavors like yogurt drink+vodka cocktail you can find in stores. If you haven’t try it, it’s actually very yummy 🍦 🍹 . Personally, I had tried in the past the mix of vainilla ice cream, red wine and frozen fruits. Therefore, I am very open to try as many ideas as they show, because there’s a high possibility it’s going to be delicious 🤤. 📍 Fuxing Middle Road 507 Long No.3 Floor 1 Unit 102, Huangpu #dessert #deliciousrestaurant #dessert/afternoontea #drinks #cocktails #bar #easylife #foodie #foodieheaven #foodietrip #criskotsu #food #shanghaistyle #shanghai #shanghaidelicacies #citiesatnight #citylife #icecream #bubbletea #tea #boba #dessert#summervacation#urbanexplorer
Stepping into Shanghai Disneyland felt like entering a magical realm where dreams come to life. From the moment I passed through the grand gates, I was transported into a world of enchantment and wonder. The park's blend of traditional Disney charm and unique Chinese elements created an experience unlike any other. Every corner of the park was meticulously designed, from the immersive lands to the dazzling nighttime spectaculars. Whether I was exploring Adventure Isle, soaring through the skies on Tron Lightcycle Power Run, or meeting beloved Disney characters, there was never a dull moment. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the hospitality of the cast members added an extra layer of warmth to my visit. Shanghai Disneyland truly exceeded my expectations and left me with memories that will last a lifetime. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a magical adventure in the heart of China. #mytravelhacks #familytrip #localguides #instatravel #Shanghai #disneyland #familyfun
This is by far one of my fav Temples in Shanghai. Peaceful, serene and with an incredible hand made jade Buddha that is actually laying down! Very rare and incredible; didn’t post the pic as it’s is a must see for your self kind of thing. 😉 Happy Lunar New Year everyone! 🧧🎁🎆🥺🎉✨ #historicallandmarks #localguides #temple #temple #Shanghai #trip #china
#shanghaitrip Had an enlightening day exploring the Shanghai History Museum! 🏛️ The best part? It's only 20 CNY for a ticket, making it an affordable and fascinating journey through the city's rich past. 💸 Situated in the Pudong District, the museum's location near the Oriental Pearl Tower sets the scene for a cultural adventure. 🌆🗺️ The museum's exhibits cover a vast timeline, from ancient civilizations to modern Shanghai. The Ancient Shanghai Gallery, with its recreated market streets, was like stepping back in time. 🕰️👣 The wax figures depicting key moments in the city's history added a touch of realism, and the multimedia presentations brought historical events to life. 🎥👥 The museum's rooftop garden offers panoramic views of the Pudong skyline – a perfect spot for reflection and photos. 📸🏰 The nearby Lujiazui Central Greenbelt is ideal for a post-museum stroll, and the Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai Tower provide an architectural contrast to the historical exhibits. 🌳🏙️ Ended the day with a visit to a local teahouse for a calming sip of traditional tea. ☕🍵 #ShanghaiHistoryJourney #CulturalDiscovery #AffordableAdventure #CityscapeReflection
