Tired, dirty, swimming pool is empty. Well past it's use by date. Needs a lot of TLC. Have a whole motel to fill and put all 3 guests in adjoining rooms. Can hear other people through the walls. If I travelled this way again I would not stay in Tennant Creek.

Like other reviewers have stated, when we first saw the motel we thought what had we done.......but don't let the external aesthetics turn you off. The room was impeccably clean, comfortable beds, nice hot shower and with all the amenities you need such as kettle, toaster and microwave. Carpark was secure with full high fence, locked gate and floodlit lighting. Heard no noise from the pub. Ended up staying on 2 separate occasions. The only negative was on our second stay we were woken at 8am by housekeeping knocking and asking if we were still in the room and then she came back 1/2 hr later unlocked the door and walked straight in without knocking. She apologised but come on, that's unacceptable.
