I found no room... I went to the front desk and asked... The front desk said it could help me arrange... and the price is online It’s the same as before... (local reservations are more expensive than online) The boss is very polite and he helps us call a car... and tells us how to play...

|2.54km from city centerI was initially staying for one week but I extend for one more week as I loved Chiang Mai but also this hostel. Everything is super clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and the hostel is extremely well located ! The cherry on the top was the staff : most sweet, polite, helpful, smiling and nice people I’ve never met. It was 2 amazing weeks ! Thank you again for everything, specially for your kindness ☺️

|0.78km from city centerI was always greeted by Jenny on reception with a warm smile. After enjoying Chiang Mai city for 2 weeks i extended my stay and paid a good price for 2 more weeks. The rooms available are fan only or fan and air conditioning. Although there is no fridge in the rooms there is a communal fridge in reception which is always stocked with ample water, soft drinks and beers all at very cheap prices. My large room had a fan, AC, TV, wardrobe, dresser, king size double bed with very clean bedding, which can be changed upon request. The shower area, although a bit outdated, is still quite adequate. Panda House is located on a no through road, there is hardly any traffic outside and it is exceptionally peaceful considering how close it is to the city. I could take a slow walk to Tha Phae Gate in less than 10 minutes. Nearby Tuk Tuks are easy to flag down; or reception will order a private taxi in a matter of minutes. Panda House does offer a food menu, however there are endless bars and restaurants all within walking distance. I stayed for one month and had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

|1.34km from city centerThe location of the hotel is great. Turn left when you go to the night market where Feng Fei Fei's pig feet rice. A couple is driving a motorcycle every day to sell fast food. The hotel is clean and cleaned every day, even if walking barefoot is not dirty. There are curtains on the bed, and the privacy is very good. It is the best hostel I have lived in in recent years ~
ps: Basil chicken at the door is really delicious, but they only open at noon, and one serving is only 30B!

|8.03km from city centerI especially like this hotel. I stayed with my friends for two days. The photos of the room were not very complete at the beginning. I was very nervous, but when we entered the hotel, we found that this is a paradise. Although it is a bit far from the ancient city, if you like to lie flat or relax, you can I came here for one night. I ordered fried chicken and burgers with my friends in the evening. I spent two hours in the pool. I was very happy, but because there is a garden, there will be some ants and bugs on the ground. I can accept these. After all, the scenery is beautiful! If you don’t like small bugs, you can also bring some insect repellent sprays. Let’s talk about it. The landlord sister is really super good, because I didn’t bring sanitary napkins, so I bought me a special breakfast for 🥹. The price is really worth it!

|1.41km from city centerThe day before we landed I noticed we would be arriving after check in. I messaged on booking.com and I got a reply pretty much straight away with all the information I needed in detail, this was such a relief as it it meant we didn't have to worry about potentially not being able to check In. Staff are so friendly and helpful, they helped us book some excursions and did us a discount. Breakfast was good, they had a big selection of English and Thai food and they even packed us a take away Breakfast one day when we had to leave early. Rooms were clean. Great location to near by attractions. Fully recommend!

|2.7km from city centerChecked in to the hotel after our flight and was somewhat non plussed. There is no pool, which was a surprise but one which quickly fell by he wayside. The room we were in had a small balcony, but outdoor space all the same. The room was decent sized and quickly cooled off once we got the ac going. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The roof bar and restaurant were so good that we ate every supper here. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood area with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants as well as massage locations. You can walk into the old city but a baht bus can take you there for 40 baht/person. The area is a nice and quiet compaired to old town and the more touristy areas to the east. We will definitely be back.

|2.54km from city centerThe room was great. When the host, sister Yiyi, showed me the room, I saw a very large floor-to-ceiling window as soon as I entered the door, with Mount Suthep outside. I fell in love with it right away. In the evening, I can always lie in bed and see the red sunset of Mount Suthep outside. The room is simple and clean. There is a temple at the door of the B&B in a quiet alley. The sound of wind chimes during the day is particularly healing. There are 711 on the left and right when you come out of the B&B, which is very convenient. There are so many delicious food at the door! The host, Yiyi, is Chinese and very nice. You can chat with us in the coffee room on the first floor. If you have anything you don’t understand during the trip, you can ask the people in the store. You can also hang out with other friends at the B&B. Highly recommend this B&B!

|1.34km from city centerThis is our second visit to Chiang Mai. This time my wife and I stayed in The White Elephant Home for two nights. The location is great, very close to old city, only several minutes’ walk. I prefer to stay outside the old city for quiet, clean and comfortable neighbourhood. We booked a room for two and they upgraded us to a family room for three. The room is spacious, new and clean with a lovely balcony. The interior and exterior match the photos and description on the website. Breakfast is freshly cooked and is delicious. We enjoyed it in the lovely garden. The staff are nice and helpful, they have friendly smiles all the time. They speak good English and provided useful information to us in buying Green bus ticket to Chiang Rai. I didn't drive this time but I saw them providing car covers to guests and helped to cover and to remove it. Will definitely stay in The White Elephant Home again if we visit Chiang Mai again. Highly recommend!

|1.12km from city centerI was so excited to stay at The Entaneer Poshtel given all the glowing reviews of Pappy and his hospitality. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience here as a solo female traveler and ultimately left early due to discomfort. When I arrived, Pappy asked me to join a group outing to go out partying that night. I asked who was going, and he told me it was a mix of men and women. It turned out to be only men. While usually not worrisome, a couple of the men started making uncomfortable remarks as they zeroed in on me as the only woman in the group . They kept asking how much I drank, how my alcohol tolerance was (if I got drunk easily), if I liked to party, and talked about “massages with happy endings”. I felt unsafe as the only woman in this group of men. I kept asking if the women were coming and Pappy kept saying they would, but they never arrived and so I made an excuse and left the group early. When I went back to the hostel, I could barely sleep because I felt nervous about the comments that had been made to me, and I was in a single room. I ultimately decided to check out the next day and find another place to stay. I told Pappy that I was leaving because some guests made me feel very uncomfortable. I even went so far as to ask him to tell anyone who asked where I went that I was meeting friends, so that they wouldn’t know I was traveling alone. Rather than be concerned (like asking if I was okay, getting more details on what happened), Pappy immediately became defensive (“was it something I did? There’s no refund”). He was not understanding at all and I left feeling like it was my fault to want to go. I returned my keycard and made it clear I wasn’t coming back, and ultimately left a lot of money on the table to get myself out of this situation. I understand Pappy is a very welcoming host that loves to bring people together. I would urge him to be more thoughtful about dynamics - especially when they involve young, solo, female travelers. I know others have had great experiences and I was unlucky because of the other guests at this time, but this is something Pappy should be more attuned to. If a solo female traveler tells a hostel owner that others are making them feel uncomfortable, they should feel supported. I’ve stayed at plenty of hostels around the world (all over South America, Europe, and Asia) but have never left one early due to feeling this uncomfortable or nervous.

|1.38km from city centerThe first time I went to Thailand and Chiang Mai. I had to take off my shoes when I entered the house. I was a little unaccustomed at the beginning. There are three floors, each floor has a public bathroom and shower, as well as a balcony, and the window is a pigeon cooing. The room was a bit small but very warm and clean. Located in the west-central part of the old city, passing through the lively bar street from Tha Pae Gate, and two famous, walking is not too far away. Experience good.

|0.57km from city centerNeeded a place in Chiang Mai for 4 nights. Didn't care about luxury but didn't want the cheapest place I could find either. Came across this on Agoda and thought it might be worth a try. It's 150 Baht ride from The Chiang Mai Airport. I arrived Check in Was quick and easy. The room is immaculate. Small but very clean. Great bed flat screen TV many many channels. The air condition is fantastic. It's a hostile but it also has. Individual rooms Which is what I booked. It's unbelievable value. 22.50 a night. They don't advertise free breakfast. But they have a common area just behind reception. With a big screen TV and it's got a full kitchen that everybody is welcome to use. If you clean up after yourself, they have all the utensils. They do have a small breakfast in the morning, which is free to everybody who stays here. Although they don't advertise. It waffles cereal coffee tea toast. Basic But very nice. They also have four or five bicycles that are available free of charge to use which is a tremendous perk. There are a couple of negatives but based on the value for money. I can work around them. Number one no room safe number two When you take the key card out when you leave the room the refrigerator also loses electricity. First I've seen this most hotels I've stayed at. Had the refrigerator socket wired to stay hot, even when the key card was out. And it would be nice if they had a chair. In the room nothing fancy just a basic chair. Should I find myself in Chiang Mai again? I will definitely use this hotel again. The staff here are very very friendly. From the reception to the room cleaners everyone always smiling willing to help out answer any questions. Making sure everybody has a nice day. I can't recommend this place enough.

|1.12km from city centerStaff attitude is very very very good. I will recommend where to play, and I will be very patient when I ask for directions. The sanitation inside the room is not so clean, there are yellow marks on it, the door locks of the room are old-style and look unsafe, but they are actually safe. After all, no one is bored to steal the lock and steal things. , Not to mention the camera, so it is still relatively safe. Although the room was directed at the roadside, it was relatively quiet, and occasionally heard the sound of a motorcycle, but it did not affect anything. It is very close to Phra Singh Temple, there are 711, massage shops around, it is recommended to go to Sunday market, there is really everything. And it's especially close to the Sunday market.

|1.59km from city centerThe first room we received had cake layers that came through open space behind broken stones on the wall, a flooding toilet, loose stones on the floor, moved to another room at 23:00, no eye closed. Very hard beds, extreme noise load from other rooms. Shouting, loudly, closed doors. Got through the whole night. When watched, asked if they wanted to do something about it (the hotel's rule is that it should be quiet after 23 hours). There was nothing to do with it. Status of maintenance very bad, in both accommodations. Dangerous stairs to the stacking beds, loose parts of beds, broken fineer layers on which you wrapped your hand. Elektra cable with steel cv tubes drawn, unsitting contact boxes. No lighting in bed in the 1st building. No contact boxes. In the t****e building. Not-exit blocked by the storage of all sorts of rhythms (matches, boxes, etc.) in the staircase. Pool does not match the photos placed. Settle in a parking garage and is absolutely no swimming pool. All the photos of this hotel seem to be years ago and manipulated as regards light invasion and width. Absolutely no advisor and not at all with children. So we left earlier. Hopeful refund, eventually received half.

|0.64km from city centerExcellent stay - the family owned managers are extremely nice and accommodating- the breakfast is excellent and the decor (wood interior inside, cobble stones and fountain outside) exude serenity. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The bathroom is beautifully tiled. Location wise, the B&B is secluded and in a very quiet street while being very well placed. Finally, this B&B is an excellent value in terms of quality to price after I visited 5 different hotels in the same price range.

|0.95km from city centerThe decoration and room style of the homestay are very girlish, especially the tiles in the room. Although it is a windowless room, it is complete with all the organs and the bed is clean and comfortable. In addition to the design of the toilet sink is not very reasonable, the rest is very good. The clothes can be dryed to the balcony on the roof. But the balcony is unscreened and does not rule out the possibility of raining at night. Auntie is also very polite, will ask if you need to clean the room, if you don't need it, you will put paper towels and two bottles of water at the door, will not disturb the guests. Speaking of the location, although on the edge of the ancient city, I personally feel that it is very convenient to have a grab anywhere. The location of the hotel driver can accurately arrive and pick up, so I don't feel remote. Walking to Tha Pae Gate and Sunday night market are completely ok, and it won't be noisy to live here. 7:30-10:00 Every morning is breakfast time. The boss will say it clearly before check-in. The breakfast variety is quite good for this price accommodation. The toast instant noodles are served with various sauces, coffee, milk and hot water. I love toast bread here, very good! Finally, the little fat brother at the front desk should be the boss, very polite, will chat with us and will also carry our luggage for us, in short, I am very happy to live here for two days, Chiang Mai is a leisurely city, it is worth going again, if you stay, you don't have to consider it, recommend everyone to come here!
