I check in after midnight. Need to remember 2 passcode for the door lock. Is very near the subway. No towel provided I have to go to the 24-hour shop to buy a towel in order to shower. Very expensive for small Towel and very inconvenient. Please remember to bring your own towel. The lift is very slow. The bathroom has insects and is very smelly.

It is a newly renovated hostel near Mongkok MTR station. The location is very convenient and near to Ladies Market and Sneakers street. Though it qas hard to locate at first since I didn't thought that it would be inside an old building (Sincerity or Sincerely building). The elevator to our floor is broken at that time so we had to use the stairs (1 floor only). The staff is good and accommodating. If you are on a budget and will just sleep at night then book this hostel.

I am a tourist in Tianjin, and this one is much better than I expected. After reading several reviews of nearby B&Bs, this one is the best choice for a solo trip on a budget. The price of a bed in a nearby room for 8-10 people is around 150, which is a lot more. The ten yuan for a single room is a good deal. The location is very close to the Mong Kok subway. The window of the room is in the center of the building. It is very quiet at night. The best thing is that the proprietress is from the Northeast and has no problem with communication. She is enthusiastic and considerate. When checking in, she observed carefully and noticed that I have big feet and specially changed them for me. The details of the pair of large slippers determine everything. There are charging adapters and toiletries. All toiletries are provided. You can check out at any time. It is really great. We have recommended this place to our group. This kind of B&B business is absolutely great.

The hotel is located in the center of Mongkok, close to buses, subways and train stations. Transportation is easily accessible in all directions. Nearby downstairs are the famous pedestrian streets, shopping malls, restaurants, etc., where shopping and delicious food are top-notch. The room is quite nice. Although it is small, it is well-equipped with everything, such as air conditioner, TV, hairdryer, etc. The landlady is very kind and enthusiastic. She always introduces us to the must-see and must-eat food nearby, and also teaches us how to take transportation to different attractions. We forgot to bring the adapter this time, so the landlady lent us one, which was very considerate. This room is suitable for a single person or a couple to live in. Whether it is the layout of the room, the equipment, or the service attitude of the landlord, it deserves a five-star rating. We will come again next time!

I would consider booking this place again since it's not a bad place in all honesty.

Let's start off with what's good about booking this hostel. Overall, the location and proximity is very good because of how close it is to Mongkok station. Fa Yuen Street Market, Ladies Market, and Sneakers Street are the main points of interest in Mongkok. These places I mentioned are just a couple minutes away from HK hostel. Now, let's talk about the service and amenities. HK hostel is a budget hostel so I wasn't expecting a top-tier service. It was below average. The room given to me was very small. I saw the room I stayed at beforehand but I didn't know it was actually small irl. I would compare my room to a matchbox (not exaggerating lol). I want to change my room to a bigger one but I guess the hostel was fully booked because of CNY. What made my stay nightmare-ish was the noise coming from the clothes dryer. Each time someone uses the dryer machine, I'll get startled because of the terrible noise that resonates throughout the halls of the hostel. It was painfully disturbing and I didn't have a sound sleep because of the noise. Be prepared for the loud noises from other rooms as well. Since walls are thin and flimsy, noise can pass through easily. It also smelled like smoke inside the hostel and it never went away until the day I left. The amenities and facilities are so so. The bathroom is squeaky clean (with warm and cold water), the sink has running water, there's a fridge as well. The amenities were just good for the price you paid. There's no front desk staff to bring your queries to. You have to contact the front desk staff in advance through We Chat to make your booking seamless and hassle-free. To sum it up, this hostel will be suitable for people who: 1. Want to be close to Mongkok city center and Mongkok MTR Station. 2. Budget traveller who doesn't care so much about hotel beauty and aesthetics. 3. Someone who has a tight budget but still wants to enjoy Hong Kong.

If you are on a business trip or traveling on a budget, this hotel is really good to choose. It costs about 400 yuan per night, which is quite acceptable in a place like Hong Kong where land is at a premium. Moreover, this is not opened by an Indian, and the sanitary conditions are much better. , it does still feel a bit humid, but the climate is like this, so it is acceptable. It is not a big problem to stay for a few days. I stayed for two nights on a business trip. The advantage is that there are various restaurants and restaurants within a radius of 3 minutes' walk downstairs. Snacks save you money on a taxi. Believe me, taxis in Hong Kong are ridiculously expensive. You can save a lot of money just by going to the snack street downstairs of the hotel. The aunt at the front desk is very nice and will answer all your questions. I am not as arrogant as some Hong Kong locals. The shower was very comfortable, the hot water and pressure were sufficient, and the hotel was quiet and not noisy. The shortcomings are also obvious. It is true that the hotel's infrastructure can only reach the level of small hotels in the urban-rural fringe of mainland China. You can see it by looking at the pictures~~The air conditioner (not the common hanging air conditioner or central air conditioner) starts up The noise and vibration are a bit loud at the end. Of course, it is older, but the cooling effect is not bad, and it can be used for several hours after being turned on for 10 minutes. There is no hair dryer, only in the corridor. In short, the infrastructure is really only considered To make ends meet, a hotel with good infrastructure in Hong Kong is estimated to cost more than 800 and 1,000 yuan. However, it was still a pleasant stay. I thought clearly about the price level in Hong Kong before I stayed there, so I wouldn't feel that there was a gap. I will stay here again on business trips in the future, the price is good, haha!

Very close to the subway, very convenient. But if you are not familiar with the road, it will be difficult to find. I found it after calling because the hotel signboard was blocked. It may be because there is no window in the room, so the bed feels a bit damp. After removing the bed, the remaining space is not too small. Large suitcases can also be opened. The toilet is as small as other hotels in Hong Kong. It can only be said that this price does not ask for anything

This was an okay stay. The location was good, but everything else was average. The cleanliness was passable, and the amenities were bare. Furthermore there was no laundry within the hostel itself, but there is a laundry place on the ground floor of the building. Pretty sure it wasn’t a capsule hostel though, more like 2 bunk beds to a room with blinds that you could pull down for privacy. I think there are cheaper places that offer the same amount of benefits for a lower price, but you would be sacrificing the cleanliness and location.

After booking the room, the store has not contacted until the morning of the room entry. I took the initiative to send a message to him to add my WeChat account, and he did not have it either. I arrived at Jordan Station at 2 o'clock and kept looking for the hotel after 3 o'clock. In the end, I called him and he added me to WeChat, saying that I didn't see my text message. I left my mobile phone number when I booked the room, and even after the reserved check-in time, the store didn’t contact me at all. I thought the self-service hotel was interesting, but it turned out to be ignored. After arriving at the hotel, some questions are answered for a long time or not at all. One time is enough!

I have been to Hong Kong many times, but I have not been there in the past few years due to the epidemic. This time I went as a family of three. First of all, I have stayed in many hotels and never wanted to take the initiative to evaluate them. This is the first time. The room is not big. This is a characteristic of Hong Kong, where every inch of land is at a premium. When I first arrived, I was a little uneasy because it was in a residential building. After entering, I felt much better. The floor and beds were very clean, and there was no smell. Even the toilets were clean. It's clean and it's really good value for money. The boss is also very hospitable. I originally booked a room for one day, but then I decided to book an extra day. It's really worth recommending. I will choose her room next time I come to Hong Kong.

This is one of the hardest places to review. Lots of good AND lots of bad. The good: the price (it’s still very expensive by mainland standards, but a good deal by HK standards). The location — amazing and so convenient. Literally steps away from Tsim Sha Tsui metro station! The service — the woman who appears to own the hotel as well as the cleaning ladies were all very helpful and offered great service. The room offered no major cleanliness red flags and although small, was big enough to not feel too cramped and had decent storage space. The bad: The bathroom had absolutely zero dry wet separation (I recognize this is normal among budget hotels in Asia, but still falls into the bad category). There was a man who worked there who — although he was nice to me — screamed at a customer who locked herself in her room and even kicked on her door aggressively. This was very unsettling. Also — my room had a very crappy curtain shade, with a window facing the hallway, making me feel like I was in a hospital room. The light in the hallway is on 24/7 so the room was always quite bright even at night. This severely disrupted my sleep schedule. There was always a weird smell in the room (hard to describe) but it wasn’t that bad. Due to how humid it was, the bedsheets always felt slightly wet, even if freshly changed, and I saw a few bugs in the room but not that concerning. The laundry machines were convenient to use overall but the clothes had a slight weird smell after using it. There were always people in the area making noises and kids running around, including one naked. It was difficult to speak to the staff without speaking Mandarin Chinese. Also, just to note that this is not a typical hotel, it is like a bunch of small apartments with a common space within a floor of a big building. A very strange and liminal space. I have to say, I both love and hate this place. It may be one of the most liminal spaces in Hong Kong.

The scenery is unbeatable. The hostel is on the hillside, and you can see the beautiful scenery of Hong Kong day and night. The public bathroom, toilet and kitchen are relatively clean and tidy. However, the facilities are relatively old, the room is not well ventilated, and there are many dust mites in the bedding. If you have allergic rhinitis, consider it carefully. Then, because it is on the mountain, there are occasional mosquitoes and spiders in the room. But the hostel is generally good and acceptable.

Booked a double room without windows for 1 night, price 1,758.02฿, but when checking in, the room with 1 large bed, asked to be charged an additional 100HKD for the large room because the owner gave the reason that the room chosen was full, so he gave a larger room and charged another 100HKD for the deposit before checking out, which will be refunded. But we informed the staff there that if the price has to be increased, it will be canceled and will be reported to Trip.com, which the staff called to inform the owner, who agreed not to charge an additional fee. But when checking out today, we did not get the 100HKD back as agreed and gave the same reason that we got a large room, which is a great advantage to consumers. We made the reservation correctly and paid by credit card. If Trip.com was full from the beginning, there would be information to see. But the room booked through Trip.com is still available, which makes us think that this accommodation will take advantage of customers by charging additional fees later. And the room next door, the son came to stay with his mother, who is quite old at No period, but the staff came out to inform us when checking out that there was a blood stain on the end of the bed sheet, but we looked at it as a professional nurse, still saw that it was an old blood stain on the end of the blanket at the end of the bed inside and the staff will charge additional compensation from the guest. It has been seen that these 2 incidents indicate dishonesty. The business owner will collect money later. And the sign in front of the room, the elevator entrance and exit, also took off the paper sign with the word ”Hotel” to avoid paying VAT% or when selling through Trip.com, upgrading the level of bookings because it is seen as an inexpensive hotel. But in reality, the owner of this accommodation is selfish and takes advantage of consumers the most. Definitely do not recommend staying here. Warning!!! Blacklist!!! We have evidence with photos and video recordings.

The day before, I stayed in a single room for more than 200 yuan, and the room was too closed. Today, I changed to a double bed room for more than 300 yuan. It is suitable for one person, but it would be a bit crowded for two people. After all, it is in Hong Kong. It is very cost-effective to stay in such a room for more than 300 yuan! Advantages are as follows: 1. Convenient transportation. The hotel is located near Jordan Station. Exit from Exit B1, go to the right after passing the newsstand and walk two streets. It is very free to travel! 2. The boss lady has a good service attitude, thumbs up. 3. There is access control: I think this is more important. Some hotels are cheap, but all kinds of people can enter, all kinds of people, and I always murmur in my heart. This hotel has access control and security guards, which is very good! 4. The hotel comes with an adapter, which is very convenient Disadvantages: 1. The quilt is old and the texture is not very good. It will be better if it is cleaned more 2. The air conditioner is very old. The hotel I stayed in the day before also had very old air conditioners. This should be a common phenomenon in this price range. The old air conditioner will be a bit loud, but the most important thing is that it will make the air quality worse and smell very uncomfortable. Find a master to clean it more, or even replace it, and it will be perfect. In general, I think it is a good choice for a budget trip to Hong Kong. Recommended! I didn’t take pictures, that’s it

All amentities were included : showgel, brushes, blowdryer, mini fridge, tea kettle n all(even washing service). The wall plugs were the traveller-friendly type w/ usb charger in them, one can just plug-in all your phone devices n electronic gadgets in them and start charging. The air conditioning and the cleaniness made the room felt comfortable cozy inside. The atmosphere is very warm n home-like in this hostel with helpful staffs. The doors have two levels (front door, then your room door) and uses digital-number entry(not the swipe card type), cameras are everywhere in hallway, you feel safer inside. Location is just at the heart of the city central from everywhere (main shopping, food, main tourist sites) by foot, just 1min walk right outside the T.S.T main A1 exit, you won't miss it. The owner of this hostel owns also many other hostels in the building, so when arriving two days before our booking (this hostel), we were guided to other hostel (Castle Inn) for the whole stay. The room looked exactly the same, so I bet these hostels are quite similar. We found the owner’s number on the hostel door and after a call he kindly helped us with no delays. Payment was also laid-back, I paid something upon arrival and the rest the next day after changing more local currency. (Last two nights prepaid online, no problem with that) If you book anything from Chungking Mansions, expect very small rooms with backpacker style. Knowing this and comparing the price to the Hong Kong hotel prices, it wasn’t a problem that the room wasn’t too clean and we needed to ask for second toothbrush and a new light bulb. The stay was no luxury but private and convenient. BTW, on the whole Chungking Mansions might seem chaotic and filthty at first glance, but actually it’s a lovely place of cultural encounters to explore if you have an open mind!

Receptionist is friendly. Location is near ferry , beach and cafes. I do hope they provide disposable slippers, the ones provided left a dirt print on the white rug so we didn’t use them afterwards. Water runner on pipes wakes you up but neighbors is quite. Hot water was low after several showers. Bottled water and soft drinks were provided. Not bad for an overnight stay.

This is my second time staying at Ngong Ping Youth Hostel. The service attitude and level of the front desk receptionist (hostel housekeeper) are beyond imagination (the staff on duty worked overtime until late at night, followed up the whole process after adding WeChat, and did their best to solve the many difficulties before we arrived at the hostel. After arriving, the attitude was humble and polite, showing the excellent youth hostel service spirit and level. It was really impressive! Thank you very much for Mark's help, which is indeed a timely help in an extraordinary situation. Heart ♥️Mark, the youth hostel experience on the night of May Day was super good. The traveler Qianglie recommended staying at Ngong Ping Davis and gaining a unique experience of the youth hostel! Ngong Ping Davis & Mark, See You next time!

This is a great room! Everything was wonderful. The room is very well equipped and clean. It is located in a very convenient location. There is a metro station and all the necessary shops nearby. For tourists this is a big plus. We had a room with a window and the view was beautiful. The owner is very responsive and kind. She was always in touch and answered all questions very quickly. When I left I forgot my shirt in the room and she kindly offered to mail it to my country. It is very much appreciated! She also kindly explained to us the best way to get to the airport early in the morning. I highly recommend this room in the centre of Hong Kong. You will definitely not regret your time here! Thank you for this pleasant time and your kindness!

My favourite place to stay in Hong Kong. The rooms are clean, modern, and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and organised, and the hostel has a kitchen, a communal area with outdoor seating, and a laundry room (washing and drying cost around 60 HKD at the time). Food places and shops are right around the corner, and public transport to the city centre or other parts of HK is close by. Fun fact: the building was originally one of the first public housing projects in Hong Kong, built in the 1950s, and it was also awarded with Honourable Mention by UNESCO in 2015. There’s even a museum dedicated to its history right across from the hostel entrance.

Great location. Place with many hostels so check the right tower and floor (C, 12F). For check-in wait after you ring the bell as they have more hostels in the building. Small room (typical for HK) but clean, nice and safe. 👍

A budget capsule hostel with shared facilities such as shower and toilet, location is prime (in the middle of TST), as long as you manage your own expectations well (ie. Don’t expect too much from a hostel) this is an adequate budget place to stay in Hong Kong for a few days.
