Located less than a kilometer from BTS (Bangkok Train Station) Phrom Phong, this lovely little piece of beauty right in the middle of Bangkok certainly did not disappoint. Well-decorated, well-thought of and well-maintained, we had honest to goodness memorable stay here. People are lovely, attentive and kind. Rooms are of decent size, AC was working well, wifi was fast, pillow was nice, bed was soft and ok to my liking, there was a mini fridge, showers hot enough, window providing lovely Bangkok views and TV with cute Thai channels. Will defo be back here. I had a lovely stay here.

It's a little far away from the BTS station and takes about 10 minutes to walk. The hotel is in an area where Japanese people live. The hotel also focuses on Japanese style, with a simple and clean design. However, please note that the hotel does not have an elevator, so if you have large luggage, you will need to carry it up the stairs. In addition, the facilities are complete, the bathroom has a shower water heater, and the small living room has a small sink with basic cutlery and dishes, an electric kettle, a refrigerator with refrigeration and freezing functions, and dining table seats. Part of the floor of the room is covered with tatami mats. There is an LCD TV screen that can be connected to the Internet to watch YouTube, and two large mattresses. There are no curtains on the windows, I think because of this the room has two large screens, but the light blocking effect is not very good in the morning. Opposite the hotel is a veterinary clinic. There are dogs barking every morning. The soundproofing of the room also needs to be improved. I live in Room 03. The bathroom in Room 02 should be next to the bedroom in my room. I can also hear the sound of the water hose being turned on when taking a shower next door. hear. All in all, the room price is favorable and the place is clean and tidy. I highly recommend everyone to come and stay here. The living experience is quite good. After all, no place is perfect. For this price and quality, I think it is a great value.

Value for Money. Convenient Location - close to the BTS and Many Restaurants - Emporium Mall/ EmQuatier Shopping Mall/ Cinemas/ etc. Only problem is the Air-conditioner is NOT strong enough - requires either 02 units or to install 02 more fans on the L & R of each room. If you stay on the Top L or R corner - there is NO air n unable to receive cool aircon..... The Doors require some cushioning or else u will wake up whenever someone leaves or enters.... There is a lounge n pantry and washing area on Ground Floor - useful

Overall, I satisfied with my stay at Zleepmotion as their location, price and interior design of room fit me. As I booked the cheapest one with promotional price from trip.com, I didn’t pay attention whether it’s a room with day light or not. If you prefer fresh air, I suggest you to pay more for rooms facing to the main road. Sound isolation is relatively bad. I am a sound sensitive person so it’s easily that I heard others’ footsteps when they walked in the room’s wooden floor and sound of moving chairs from outside or upstairs. There are convenience stors 7-11 & Lawson and supermarket Big C near it. There are also quite many local restaurants near it. There is a cafe at the lobby which allow you to enjoy a nice breakfast.

My first time to Bangkok and I didn't regret my choice to choose Barn & Bed as a place to stay. A lot of positive point that I can share in regards to hotel location: 1. The location is close to BTS Phrom Phong Station so it is really easy for you to go everywhere. Literally just few walks away from emQuartier Sukhumvit. 2. Lots and lots of food stall and street food nearby, the hostel actually located behind a cafe. So it is pretty convenience if you look for something around the hotel. 3. Seven Eleven is just around 10 meters walk away. The hostel is really homey and quiet. The design also really cute. Staffs are really helpful and can speak English really well. There is computer at reception area if in case you have any business matter. Second floor is for the canteen, where they serve breakfast. Bringing foods to the room is not allowed, therefore if you would like to have some meal, you should have it there. Since I booked for female dorm with 5 beds, my cubicle is located in 4th floor. Tips for all of you, if you bring big luggage like i did, better keep it at the reception and bring only necessary stuffs to your room, since it will be quite a work out to drag your luggage until 4th floor. The room is clean and comfortable. They switch of the AC everyday starting from 1-4 PM, yet they have mini fan in your cubicle so shouldn't be any problem. In your cubicle there is your own locker, which is pretty big to keep all of your valuable items inside. Towels are given upon check in with deposit of 200 Baht. The bathroom is shared in each floor and always well cleaned. In the morning they prepared delicious sandwiches for breakfast, starting from 7 - 10 AM. Besides, there is also some local fruits to try like banana and apple for your morning brekkie. Really nice! I don't know what else to say about this hostel except, perfect. Great service, great value of money, great location, I will definitely comeback here for my next stay at Bangkok and definitely recommend this place for all the travelers.

We had a good stay at the Honey House 2. We chose this location instead of their 1 location at the top of the soi because this one seemed like it would be quieter. It was definitely quite at night, very peaceful. The staff we talked with each day were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent and served quickly. TV was great and no problems with the wifi. Overall it was a good stay. No problems at all. Easy to catch a taxi from the hotel as well. Just an FYI, it is not right next to a BTS or MRT stop, so if that is important to you, you may want to consult a map to see if you are comfortable with the walk.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a private room with a double bed and en suite. The room was a good size and had air con. It was also clean and we got fresh towels and bottled water everyday. The location was good as it was in a more quiet area away from the hectic traffic in the centre. It was also easy enough to get into the centre by taxi/grab. It was good value for money and we would stay here again. The free breakfast could be better, as there was only bread/toast and some jam. But it’s free so can’t really complain. There are tons of 7/11’s near by so getting supplies is easy enough. Would recommend.

Room was infested with BED BUGS!!! I went to clinic after 1 week and confirmed it. Spent $200+ for medicine and paid to professionally launder clothes at own expense. After I told hotel, they moved me to a new clean room. NEXT MORNING MANAGER CALLED ROOM AND ASKED ME TO LEAVE HOTEL AND THEY HAD CANCELLED MY BOOKING!!!!! No refund, no compensation, no explanation offered. They told me to leave hotel next day without so much as a “sorry for the inconvenience”. I had to even argue to get a late checkout (to 2pm) in order to pack my bags and find a new hotel to stay. They wanted me out in 2 hours no notice beforehand. They even still charged me for the hotel laundry service, which I used to wash my bed bug infested clothes, so not to “infect” the new room (which next day they kicked me out of). ****** So yeah, room had bed bugs, and when i asked to inform manager, they kicked me out of hotel (that I already paid for) next morning … no refund, no compensation, not even a sorry ******

Speck Bangkok is a lovely hostel located at the Soi Sukhumvit 33/1. It is about 3-minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS station Exit 5, turn right when you see the Robin Hood pub. If you are travelling with suitcases, you may like to make good use of the elevator or escalator in the EmQuartier shopping mall at Exit 1. We stayed at a family room for 2 nights. It is a decent room with one double bed and two single beds (bunk bed). This is an ensuite with a clean bathroom. If I have to be picky, the only 3 shortcomings would be its unstable temperature of shower, low washing basin (tall people or elderly people may find it difficult), and the low noise of the aircon. As for the shared toilets, the folding door may be a bit tricky. (Oh right, FYI: they have ladies floors.) That said, they did not affect my very good impression of the hostel. You have to enter the hostel with your keycard, so it may take a little longer when you first arrived. The receptionist was polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. To go to the upper floors, we will need to change to the hostel slippers that would be sterilized regularly. Simple breakfast (with cornflakes, milk, bread and butter) is served on the 2nd floor. There is also a hot dish available upon request. We had pork congee on the first morning and fried egg and sausage on the second morning. If you prefer a full English breakfast, you may go to the Irish pub next door. This Japanese alley is frequented by many Japanese and Westerners. There are a second-hand Japanese bookstore, a pharmacy, 7-11 convenience store and plenty Japanese restaurants (such as the very popular Kobe Tontek) nearby. Opposite to Speck is Watts, a 60-baht store. A minute away is a Japanese supermarket, the very popular bakery Custard Nakamura. 5-minute walk away are two high-end shopping malls (with a wide range of restaurants catering to people with different budgets), EmQuartier and Emporium connecting to the BTS station. Despite the many pubs in the street, I felt safe in the neighbourhood. One thing I really like about Speck is that we could feel respected among our fellow hostellers. Hostellers respect each other's space and wouldn't make much noises in public area. If you are a responsible budget traveller but not at all into partying, this may be a perfect hostel for you.

The hotel is very clean. It is near the MRT Queen Sirikit Center. Walk into the alley a little bit and you will find it. In front there are restaurants and beverage shops. If 7-Eleven is a little further away, but it is quite convenient. The room is okay, clean, the air conditioner is cold, there is a hair dryer, soap, shampoo, and a sink in front of the bathroom. There is a refrigerator, no wardrobe, but there is a place to hang clothes. There is no elevator. There is not much parking. The alley is small, but very close to the BTS. It is considered convenient.

Clean : I appreciate the cleaners clean the rubbish bins in the toilets few times per day. 3. Conmon area: Nice and spacious. 5. Every bed gets their own light, power point and curtain. 6. The bed is comfortable Cons: 1. The room is quite crowded, not much space to move around 2. The water supply of the shower is weak. 3. More hooks should be done inside the toilets and shower rooms. Not much spaces for you to put things in the shower room. 4. No rubbish bin in the dorm room. 5. Breakfast is very basic,no bread is provided.

We stayed here for 3 nights while in Bangkok. We arrived on the overnight train from Chiang Mai at 7:30 am and the hotel stored our bags for us until check-in time (and delivered our bags to our room up 3 flights of stairs). We had a beautiful room on the 3rd floor (no elevator, and the stairs are steep). The room was large and the beds were pretty good—I would say better than average, as the beds in Thailand seem to be a bit hard. The bathroom area was large and the shower was hot and strong. There is a very limited breakfast offering (mostly a banana, toast and coffee in the morning) and we ended up having breakfast elsewhere. Although the hotel was located down a side road and then an alley, we used Grab service quite a bit and they always arrived without a problem, although we usually walked to the end of the alley for pickup and drop off to make it more convenient for them. It was a bit of a walk—maybe 7 or 8 minutes—to the Sky train and subway, but not too bad. The receptionist was extremely helpful and could not do enough for you. All in all, we loved this hotel and this would be our first choice if we ever need a hotel in Bangkok again. (I listed this as a mid-range hotel, but since we only paid about $40 a night, it is more of a budget hotel with a mid-range accommodation.)

I am not expecting super clean nor super complete rooms in Pratunam area considering this area is very crowded with stores and market activities. This hotel has provide exactly everything we need for the area. Clean bed and bathroom, sufficient towels, free flow mineral water and very reliable fast WiFi access. This could be the most suitable hotel to choose in this area. We saw there are a lot more more 'fancy and luxurious' hotel nearby, however most of them located above very busy and noisy market with knock down stall which may cause unnecessary noisy for your sleep. This area is almost open 24 hours. Cloud 9 just the right choice which located on a quiet corner. This hotel could be hard to find even if you use online map. Try to look for Benz hotel. This cloud 9 is next to it. we will definitely choose this hotel again when we had a chance to visit the area. We do not hesitate to recommend this place to our colleagues and families.

Very easy to get to the airport for my flight. There is a lot of shared space downstairs to use the internet, kitchen facilities and hang out. The security was very good too and the staff were friendly and helpful with printing flight documents, directions to shops I needed to visit and I was upgraded to a private room for both nights of my stay, even though there was only an issue with the first night booking. We had a great stay in Bangkok, superb for everything! from * its location: very near to BTS; cheap taxi fare as well because very close to most tourist spots; * our comfort: we are so comfortable all throughout our stay; beddings/towels are so clean, smells good and very soft; so quiet as well! * cleanliness: the hostel is properly maintained, they refill immediately once the soap/tissue run out. * very GREAT STAFF: they are so accommodating and most of all, they are fluent in english. didn't had a hard time communicating with them; * FREE BREAKFAST! They are so generous, it is not even indicated on their freebies that there is a free breakfast, cook all you want, everything you see on the kitchen is for FREE! * Ambiance: We had the chance to stay in their well-maintained, romantic rooftop for dinner, and right before we go to bed, we used to stay downstairs because of its cozy feeling! About 5 minutes from MRT There are shops/restaurants and street food along the road A hotel is a single-occupancy apartment on site, not a hotel. Therefore, the front desk and service cannot be compared with that of a hotel. The room space is okay and there is enough space for display There are sinks and microwaves available for use The bathroom is very dark and has no window, so there is no air convection. The floor-to-ceiling windows are the rear windows of ordinary homes. Oh, there is no trash can in the room, only in the bathroom. The bed is soft and not very elastic It is very inconvenient that there is no socket at the bedside There is WIFI and the speed is okay For less than 1,000 baht a night One stop away from SIAM business district bts Living functions are good. 711 is just around the corner downstairs.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we had such a lovely, homely stay, and we couldn’t recommend this place enough. The staff are so caring and kind and they really looked after us. We stayed in a really nice room on the top floor (201) with our own bathroom - some rooms had a shared bathroom but we preferred to have our own and we paid just a small bit more to have this option. Outside our room there was a really nice outdoor area with shade and seating and the place is so nicely maintained and we liked the no shoe policy. A small point was that there wasn’t anywhere to store stuff and so we didn’t unpack but this wasn’t an issue we we were only here for 3 nights. We sadly missed breakfast on two of the mornings that we stayed as we had very early morning tours, but on the first morning of our stay we had a traditional Thai breakfast - Tom kha Kai which was a coconut soup with chicken, lemongrass, galangal and chilli which was absolutely delicious and they gave us some fresh fruit and coffee. The guesthouse is in an alleyway in a residential area and it felt authentic with small local shops and restaurants that we wish we had had more time to visit, and there were chickens and cats wandering around the street and we loved this. The room was quiet and comfortable and we slept really well and it felt safe. It is quite centrally located and a great base for exploring Bangkok. It felt like home from home and wish we had more time to enjoy this quiet oasis. A really comfortable stay.

I’m in PAMAhouse right now Nov ‘21. Lovely hostel run by a very sweet family. Everything is spotlessly clean and the view from the roof is very pretty! Mega relaxed atmosphere. I can only recommend staying here. The staff is very knowledgable about the area and can recommend good activities. For example a beautiful walk from a shrine to an awesome coffee place 😍.

I liked the hostel, very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner works great! The staff is very friendly and speaks good English! The only negative is that the common area (kitchen) is not at all equipped for use, there is no kettle, etc. IMPORTANT!! There is a shared shower for all accommodation options!

This is a budget capsule hotel. ”Value for money” is depending on the amount of rent and a traveller's perception of the service and facilities vis-a-vis other capsule hotels in the vicinity. Location is good and near BTS. One Tops and a lot of restaurants and street food are available within less than 5 minutes walk. However, Soi (lane) 35 is very narrow and dark at night. Two SUVs or lorries in opposite direction can occupy the whole lane. In case of a walker carryng baggage, he/she has to be on the alert against traffic. This hotel is at the corner of Soi 35. Cars turning the corner may not be able to see a walker carryng bulky baggage ai night. Staff are very friendly and polite. Round-the-clock free tea and instant coffee but no elevator. On the whole, it is clean, comfortable and safe. Like most capsule hotels, it was a bit noisy very occasionally. I grade it ”滿意” ( grade 4 ) according to the 5-grade evaluation standard of Trip.com in Chinese.

Stayed here twice, once in April and again in May. Both times I stayed in the 8 bed dorm. Each bunk is a double bed with a very comfortable mattress, pillow and quilt. Each bed is allocated a tall locker which can hold even the largest of backpacks. The shared showers and toilets were separated, but on the same floor. There were 6 toilets, 4 showers on the 2nd floor and there was never a queue. The only downside was that these areas were not under AC, so I'd be sweating again after a shower. The location is about a 2 minutes walk to either Hua Lamphong MRT and railway station. The area isn't packed with shops like the more central and touristy parts of Bangkok, but there are plenty of eateries within a 5/10 walking distance. Overall, I had a super stay both times. The entire property is kept clean at all times, the staff here are super nice and there's even an on site cafe which serves delicious congee, teas and coffee.

It’s really hard to communicate with the staff . When I check in they asked for the deposit but they didn’t tell me it’s was for deposit. And I thought the ask for hotel fees again so we have trouble when I check so . So if you choose this hotel make sure to prepare to communicate with the staff

We arrived late at the hostel, checking in was smooth as we booked through booking.com. 7E was nearby, we bought our dinner there. The room was spotless. We stayed at this hostel as it is near Suvarnabhumi Airport. They provided us free airport drop off ride at 4 am as we had a flight at 6:30am. The staff was very kind and helpful, too bad we only stayed for a while.

Brand new hostel near ekkamai station. The bed is super comfy and spacious. The room is also very spacious, and has additional area for keeping luggage. There are no lifts in the property so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs (the receptionist offered to carry the luggage-very kind) . During my stay, the code for the front door was changed and I was notified by email and WhatsApp. Lots of eating and drinking options nearby. Big supermarkets within short distance as well.

In your own bed you will find headphone and a personal TV. They will provide you with a padlock and a locker associated to your bed for free. If you need help to plan some trip to the islands in the south you can ask the staff about transportation and they will arrange something for you.

Alright so Kinnon hostel is not only the best hostel in Bangkok but the best in all southeast asia. The breakfast they offer is really good, the bed are soft and really (and I insist on really) comfortable and the staff is just amazing! It’s close to a cheap and good food market + there is a 7eleven and family mart right next to it. The restaurant on the first floor serves good local food (for cheap), the second floor is reserve to a working area with office chairs and on the third floor you have a nice tv room. The bathrooms are big and extremely clean, like the rest of the hotel. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this hostel, it’s just perfect!!

The room is very clean, toothpaste, toothbrush and slippers are provided. During the day, there are many people taking photos and checking in at the Internet Celebrity Cafe on the first floor, but it is very quiet at night. There is a noodle shop next door, and there are 711 convenience stores and many small restaurants within 200 meters of the surrounding area. It has a strong atmosphere of life and is very convenient to eat. Go straight west and walk for about 20 minutes to the entrance of the Grand Palace. Head 300 meters east to the landmark swing. You can walk south for about 15 minutes to Sam Yot Station (MRT Blue Line), and you can also pass through small alleys with morning markets on the way. The staff speak English very well and are very warm and friendly. I recommend everyone to stay here.
