The water pressure in the room was not enough on the first day, and there was no hot water. The refrigerator did not work after we changed rooms on the second day. The front desk said that refrigerators are now refrigerated. When we were about to arrive on the first day, they helped us move our luggage. The hotel is in closed to the Beijing Railway Station West. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and good quality with a reasonable variety of Chinese and Western styles. However, the bathroom had a bad, irritating smell from the sewer pipes, especially when the room temperature is warm. The water in the bathroom sink flew slowly and even stopped going down to the sewer pipe. I had to close the bathroom room all the time in order to avoid the rotten and stinky smells coming out of the bathroom. Another drawback is that there is no way to turn on the air conditioning, regardless of how hot the room is. The staff explained that the HVAC is centralized and cannot be controlled independently. That makes the stinky smell in the warm room temperature more intolerable.
