Hidden Gems. Our family didn't think that the place we chose was the best place while in Manado. The area is very beautiful. Still natural and lots of trees, but the bungalows are modern, comfortable and clean.
Facilities: there is a swimming pool, billiards, darts to pass the time,
Staff : The best. All the staff are very friendly. Especially Arjen. If you have time, always make time for lunch and lots of funny stories. The last day we met Simone. She was a very nice lady with 2 dogs following her around.
Food : speechless. All menus are very delicious. We were served several typical Manado menus which were surprisingly delicious. The others are no less delicious.
Snorkeling: their equipment, staff's knowledge is unquestionable for snorkeling and diving. We are taken to a very nice area.
We were very happy. Surely will come back again when visiting Manado.

Where do I begin how excellent a stay I had??!! Both resorts offer a different vibe as stated but also offer excellent facilities, food, diving and lady but not least great people! All of the staff are consistently friendly, helpful and show off genuine smiles! As a solo diver I felt comfortable, looked after and everyone (staff) easily accessible. There was excellent diving with knowledge guides. I always felt safe yet still had the sense of adventure! I enjoyed all the ‘little’ things as well..the general chats, space to think and breathe and the wonderful nature all around! Both resorts offer a unique experience and equally fantastic in their own ways! Thank you so much for your gentle hospitality, looking after your guests and delivering an amazing experience-diving as well as camaraderie! Thank you all…Arjen, Elise, Sree, Maria, Jimmy, Reveanly, Gabriel, Simone and the rest of the team!!

You could stay at Thalassa just for the resort with its picture postcard gazebo on a pier jutting into the bay, beautiful pools, delicious all included meals in the elegant tropical style dining and lounge building. But the real reason to go is the diving - rich reefs of colour and variety reached in short trips on a spacious and comfortable boat with super helpful staff and dive guides all the way. Minor glitches like wifi in dining area only and little frogs hopping across the paths at night - but they help to keep the mosquitoes down. Overall a place every diver should experience at least once. And don't miss the optional day trip to dive in Lembeh. Also the excursion to the waterfall - great on a non-dive day.

My partner and I loved our time at the resort! It was short unfortunately but lovely. We stayed 4 nights and had 2 days of diving which was some of the best diving we have ever experienced. The guides are very knowledgeable and well trained. The dive locations are mesmerizing and the staff are all super sweet. We did a couple of the land tours with them as well, on the jungle hike we saw tarsiers, bats, monkeys and cuscus! We also did the full day highlands tour which was such an amazing way to spend the day. The property is gorgeous and the rooms quite comfy :) We would love to return and will recommend this location to anyone looking to dive in Indonesia. I have not had time to go through all my dive footage so just adding a couple of pictures from our land tours :)

The resort is small what is very nice. The staff is wonderful and will assist you where ever you need. Diving school is professional, diving is in small groups and guides are enthousiastic. Bungalows are clean, with very comfortable beds. We stayed for 10 days and felt sad we had to leave. Overall really a place that we’d like to go back to.
