We enjoyed our stay in Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour, very clean and good size of rooms! Kids loved their welcome activity bag. Staff were all friendly and helpful especially Aimee and Janelle in the front desk. Lovely breakfast and awesome Bar . Close walk to Darling Harbour and restaurants. Will comeback here soon

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). This little gem is incredible! Great modern hipster style vibe and decor. We had a seamless check-in and we're even able to check in early! Staff were so incredibly helpful and couldn't do more to share information or help us understand what's going on in the area. The double room was awesome and super clean with great beds and pillows. We loved the couch in the room, great selection at the minibar and we had a record player in the room. Breakfast was great downstairs and reasonably priced, we also were able to get a bit of a later checkout which was awesome. The area is 15 or so minute walk to the city and this awesome rooftop bakery was a super close 5 minute walk up the road (AP Bakery) - although we do recommend booking ahead. Another 15 minute walk we had the Surry Hills Markets that were great too! Overall, awesome hotel, great location and incredibly helpful staff! Would absolutely stay again.

We really liked the location, it was right next to Darling Harbour. We got a warm and friendly welcome by the intern Brent at the front desk. He was nice and told us about all the things to do around, however, we had requested a room with a view, that they didn't provide, which we didn't fuss over. We were pleasantly surprised to see an Indian dish in the already wonderful breakfast spread, and we loved that. The chef was kind enough to proactively ask us if we enjoyed the food and if we had a special request for the breakfast the next day, which they gladly honored. The hotel also had direct access to Darling Harbour, which was very convenient as we wanted to visit it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and liked the hospitality and customer service at Hyatt, and would gladly visit again.

The Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay offers a luxurious stay in a prime location, just steps from the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Guests enjoy spacious, elegantly decorated rooms with stunning harbour views and exceptional comfort. The service is highly praised for being friendly and attentive, while the on-site dining provides a high-quality experience, albeit at a higher cost. With top-notch amenities, including a fitness center, indoor pool, and spa, the hotel caters well to both leisure and business travelers. Though on the pricier side and occasionally noisy due to its central location, the overall experience is often deemed worth the cost for its outstanding views and service.

The location is very good, very close to various attractions in Sydney. It is within walking distance to Chinatown, Hyde Park and churches. It is opposite the subway station. I will stay here again next time.

Yes, you read that right - it is four meters, and there is only a window in between. Because the hotel was renovated from a traditional Bauhaus building and is adjacent to the main street, even if there is no car horn, there will still be the sound of cars whistling. Without the whistling sound, there will be times when speedsters pull the exhaust valves, and it is not double-glazed. 2. Before midnight 🈶 road construction, hammers hammering 3. The deposit is 300, which will be released after two weeks or half a month. 4. The location is good, it’s convenient to go everywhere, but it’s not recommended for light sleepers. 5. Ctrip handles it quickly, but the third brother wanted to check out early and the front desk said there was no way! Noisy environment is not a force majeure that allows you to check out! The room is a bit small, but the location is very good. Not far from the Royal Botanic Gardens, just across from the Opera House, there are supermarkets and shopping malls nearby.

You hear to over and over in reference to hotels. ”You get what you pay for.” So, this place is cheap. For Sydney (where hotels are becoming absurdly expensive) it is very cheap. So, yes, it is old. The bathroom with its grey-green tiles reminded me of an old country hotel. The glass surround of the shower is grungy (but not dirty). The curtains don't quite fit. BUT ... the location is astounding. As advertised, it is literally a minute's walk to Sydney Town Hall. It is right in the very heart of the city. It is clean. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The place is quiet (note I had a room on the fourth floor - it may be noisier lower down). It has a modern working lift. The Wifi is good. The TV is erratic. And, most surprisingly, the room was actually quite roomy. The Coronation is MUCH better value than many inner city hotels. There are some that are more expensive which have only shared bathrooms; there are some that are very slightly cheaper that was actually pod or capsule hotels. Here you can get a proper room, a roomy room, with an ensuite bathroom, right in the heart of the city, cheaper than less well appointed alternatives. Sure, it's old. It isn't the Ritz. But it also doesn't charge Ritz prices. In truth it is an average establishment, but I am rating it very good because it is actually much better than expected, and the price - for the location - is fantastic. People will complain about it because it is old. Eventually it will get upgraded, and then it will be modern and white and gleaming - and much more expensive! Until that day, I'll stay there again, happily.
