Best Two Star Hotels in Datong

The location is very close to the ancient city, surrounded by shopping malls, supermarkets, night markets, and very convenient. The boss is very nice and recommended many places.

I actually stayed here for three nights, in two different rooms. Both the rooms were very spacious and light, which I appreciated. The room wasn’t spotlessly clean but definitely satisfactory for the price paid. The biggest problem for me was with the bathroom. In the first bathroom, the smell of smoke seemed to be coming through the vent from another room, and in both bathrooms the shower would benefit from hotter water and better water pressure. Despite this, the manager and the sister who worked on the reception were both very friendly and helpful. The manager let me use her phone number for my food delivery(so she could speak to and direct the driver) and even drove me to the hospital to take a COVID test on my last night. They couldn’t have done more to help me and I really appreciated it. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Datong.

Guys this place is amazing! The staff is nice and helpfull, everything is modern and clean, the structure is close to the nightlife. Wish could spend more time there. Just a little bit tricky to find.

Very good youth hostel, sorry, I ate spicy food in the room, the smell may not go away in winter, the boss noticed and brought me a bath towel and hung up my clothes, so good 🥹, I will choose this youth hostel next time I come to Datong!!! It is my first time to stay in this hotel. The overall experience is very good. The boss's service is considerate and thoughtful (๑¯◡¯๑). The business district is very good, the location is good, parking is convenient, especially suitable for families, the entertainment facilities are complete, and the fully automatic mahjong machine is very suitable. Facilities: perfect in a hotel of the same level. Hygiene: Clean, tidy, and a hotel at this price can meet such standards. I highly recommend it. Environment: A hotel hidden in a residential area is very cost-effective, let’s not talk about the environment. If you want a high-end environment, then go for a 5-star hotel or above, but it may not be more comfortable (in my opinion). The hotel is suitable for people who personally think that the best choice for general business travelers and couples is super cost-effective! Or those who travel in groups, those with limited travel expenses, and ordinary people!

Overall it's OK, the location is very good, the decoration is OK, the service attitude of the lady at the front desk is very friendly, but the overall infrastructure has some problems and I hope it can be improved. One is that the curtain in the shower room cannot be closed because it is a screen. It can be seen clearly from the outside. I have to leave the bathroom door open these days and then make a self-made block before I dare to take a shower and go to the bathroom. The second is that the shower is not connected to the electricity. The problem is, I feel a slight electric current when I touch the shower switch. I have to unplug the power before I dare to take a shower.

We enjoyed our three nights stay in this hotel. Quiet and clean except for some not so pleasant smell from the bathroom. The staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive. This includes the free pickup transport driver, the front desk staff and the janitors as well. The breakfast provided by the hotel was so delicious and nutritious, too. We enjoyed the three mornings breakfast with different menu for three consecutive days. The chef and his wife were also very cheerful to see us enjoy their cooking. 👍👍👍👍👍 This hotel is located near to Datong South Railway Station. If you are using the public bus, there are five buses passing through :#68,#66,#61,#31,#14. Bus #68 & #66 also go to the city. The traveling time from the hotel to the city by public bus is about ½ an hour, ticket price is 2 Yuan each. It's only 20mins by taxi, 15-20 Yuan. There are also some eating shops nearby...

This hotel is located on a building materials street. There are many vegetables selling downstairs. It is very lively, but it is difficult to park. It is parked on the nearby road. Fortunately, it is much quieter after 7 o'clock in the evening. It is also very convenient to eat. You can eat near Shangyue City through a street. The front desk service attitude is very good, I want to adjust the room type booked online, the front desk is very refreshing to change other room types at the same price, the room air conditioning is very powerful, the night sleep is also very cool, the overall is relatively clean, the shower has shower and sprinkler, water temperature is also suitable, come to Datong will stay here in the future

When I arrived at the big bed room with big windows, it was very clean and the wind was very comfortable. It is very close to the shopping mall bus station and train station, it is very convenient to travel, and the price is very high.
