Warm welcome & accommodating staff. Clean, warm & comfortable bedroom with excellent en-suite facilities. Amazing breakfasts & loved the slice of cake with tea / coffee in the afternoon. Good parking available. Within easy walk of harbour and sea.

Great b&b. Everything was lovely. The bathrooms and views, and copper bath (rooms 7 and 8) were gorgeous. Sofabed not SO comfy for a teen but that shouldn't be a surprise. Breakfasts, cakes, shared spaces and staff were perfect. Beach and town very walkable.

We stayed here for two nights, the hotel is easy to find with parking at the rear. The Sandy Duck is gorgeous with a high class finish and some very thoughtful touches. Our bedroom had a huge window facing the sea (binoculars provided) and the most comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was possibly the best I’ve ever had. All staff at The Sandy Duck are lovely and so helpful and really make every effort to make your stay special. Complimentary tea and homemade cake every afternoon is a lovely treat and breakfast was amazing. There is a generous lounge area that can be used by all guests and is well stocked with books/games. If I had one tiny moan it would be that a small table and chair in the bedroom would have been helpful to do hair and make up. But, having said that, we are definitely going to book again as we loved it so much. Thank you The Sandy Duck team for making our stay so very special xx

We thoughouly enjoyed our 2 day stay at the Sandy Duck. We arrived and was offered complimentary tea and cake. When shown to our room, it was light and airy (room 4) with a lovely window seat overlooking the sea. Our bed was very comfy and had a super king size bed. The rain shower was nice and powerful. We sat a couple of times in the lounge which had a lovely wood burner and had a drink before heading out for dinner. We would certainly book again And had a lovely stay

Exceptional service, all the staff were very pleasant and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a great experience. Breakfast was very good. The room was excellent with good views and the hotel was a short walk from the beach and also not far from the town centre.

What a great place. We were looked after really well. All the young ladies we met were very friendly and helpful. Great rooms (we had a tour to see most of them) and a fantastic breakfast. Tea and cake in the afternoon is a great idea. Would highly recommend.
