The bed was very comfy (and high!), and the room was large and quiet enough for the one night we stayed. There was only one electrical socket at one side of the bed, so I had to charge my phone etc. over at the dressing table, while my husband charged his at the bed. There was a large chip in the enamel in the bath and the shower was hot but it didn't get to the temperature my husband would have liked, though the tap water did get hot enough. There were plenty of mirrors in the room including a full length one, but no ironing facilities at all. There was a hairdryer, and there was shower gel and handwashing gel in the bathroom, but nothing like hand cream or even just shampoo. There were tea and coffee making facilities but no bottled water. I get that this is not classed as Luxury accommodation and Premier Inn really just serves a purpose for short stays but these small additions would have been welcome. We had breakfast in the affiliated Brewer's Fair next door, where there was plenty of choice (you helped yourself) and we had the full English. It was all hot which was a nice surprise as it had all been sitting in the dishes, but the Black Pudding didn't look 'right' and it definitely didn't taste 'right'. I think it may have been preciously frozen, I'm not sure. The bacon was a little greasy and dripped when I held it up. Apart from those issues the breakfast was ok, and as the Brewer's Fayre was tied to this Premier Inn I've included it in this review.
