Best Four Star Hotels in Guilin

We stayed for two nights from October 28 to 29 before heading to Yangshuo for another two nights. Originally, we had booked a different hotel for a three-night stay upon our return from Yangshuo. However, after our memorable experience during our first two nights in Guilin and the outstanding service we received, we decided to cancel our initial booking and rebook the Holiday Inn for an additional three nights. We have no regrets at all! . Location: The location of the hotel is unbeatable, situated right at the tip of Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. We were surrounded by a fantastic array of shops, including food options, souvenirs, clothing stores, and even a McDonald's. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including popular tourist attractions. While most shops close around 11:30 PM, we found the noise levels at night to be minimal and manageable. Breakfast Spread: The breakfast offered a delightful surprise with their mifen, a local rice noodle dish that my parents enjoyed every day of our stay. The other breakfast options were standard but satisfactory, leaving us with no complaints. Cleanliness: As expected from a Holiday Inn, the cleanliness was top-notch. The bathrooms were spotless, with no signs of mold or issues in the shower. Service: The service was exceptional. Miranda truly stood out, making our stay memorable with her outstanding customer service. Our positive experience began even before our arrival in China when we contacted the hotel to arrange an airport transfer. Miranda's ability to communicate in basic English was a tremendous help, given our limited Mandarin skills. The rest of the staff were equally impressive, and the daily cleaning ladies were friendly and accommodating. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location, cleanliness, and exceptional service!

Such a beautiful experience! The staff were so friendly and helpful from the beginning to end. I immediately connected with Ke to help build the itinerary and booked a wonderful trip to Yangshuo. The only downside is that it’s a bit far out from Guilin center (30 minutes). I spent the whole day on the river tour and when I returned luckily they had barbecue on the roof. The room was large and spacious with one of biggest bathrooms I’ve seen. My only regret is not spending MORE time at the hotel on the beautiful balcony of the room :)

Location is superb ! Walking street, Sun Moon pagoda, elephant trunk hill are all witjin walking distance. Hotel also provides self service laundry, detergent are all provided foc. Service staff even help to unload my laundry from wash to dry machine, and fold up my clothings and put in basket while i am asleep. Buffet breakfast is good ! Steongly recommended.

I stayed here during the Spring Festival, and the price was very reasonable. The lobby was decorated with a Spring Festival atmosphere, and it looked very festive. Check-in was quick and welcoming. I was really amazed when I entered the room. I have never stayed in a room this big, and the 60 square meters was really not false advertising. The facilities and equipment are complete and the space is spacious, not at all depressing. It is worth staying here!

Amazing space in the room, fresh and clean, comfy, luxurious. Staff was very nice and tried to help a lot. The only complaint is that the lady who sold us a cruise trip to Yangshuo did not tell us there are later ships than 8 am, instead she only told us there is 8am one. The transportation guide didnt wait even 1 minute and the front desk had no clue we're going. They should have called us before leaving the hotel without us. We ended up having to pay taxi to the port and very stressful because we thought no nore cruises for that day. So if she told us that we can take later boats that would be our preference, we'd not waste time and money But the hotel is amazing. Attached is view from our room

The front desk service is warm and in place. After sending the check-in guide, they will also tell you where the items in the room are placed. The location of the hotel is great! It is located in the center of Guilin, the Central Square. The Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas are a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The pedestrian street is also next to it. The location is very good. You can go directly to the river for a walk. The scenery is great and it is very photogenic. If you are tired of shopping, you can walk back to the hotel in a few minutes to rest. You don’t need to take a taxi. The pedestrian street is right behind the hotel. There are a lot of food and drinks! There are countless specialties!

The hotel is quite new, clean, full of childlike fun, and cost-effective. In the Sunac Resort, you can call the housekeeper to pick you up at the B&B after arriving at the parking lot. It is adjacent to Happy Tribe, Water World, and Sea World. The girl at the front desk saw that we were a family of four and took the initiative to upgrade us to a parent-child room for free. It was very considerate and the breakfast was delicious. The Sunac Resort is also very fun. There are many foods in the scenic area. The three parks are very fun. It is suitable for three days and two nights of parent-child tours, girlfriends tours, and couples tours. There are photos and check-ins everywhere, and you can't take them all. This trip to Sunac was very happy and put a perfect end to the summer vacation.

Guilin Wing Hotel is centrally located at Guilin City. The hotel is surrounded by food stall and shop selling clothes. Opposite the hotel, a food court, Guilin Good Food 桂林好吃街 and few step away, Guilin Zhengyang Pedestrian Street 正阳步行街. Hotel is within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Mountain, Jingjiang Palace, Two Rivers and Four Lakes. A travel agency counter for booking of tour in the hotel lobby whereby you can book day tour and cruise. WeChat the Hotel 2 week before we arrive to find out the option of day tour. The lady 小韦, contact us to discuss the activities we want to go. She was very positive and not pushy. She advice and provide option for us to choose. She was very helpful and help us book Guilin Two-Rivers-Four-Lakes Cruise 两江四湖, Guilin Longji Terraced Scenic Area 龙脊梯田金坑大寨, Rafting Down Li River in Guilin (桂林漓江漂流) with cheaper price. We book a Family Triple Room, consist of 1 Queen bed and 1 Single bed. Hotel provide free use of washing machine, dryer and also a gym room. Buffet breakfast was good with reasonable price of Rmb$30 per person. Housekeeping was good and not sure what they spray at the corridor because of the good smell. At the lobby, the Hotel provide free Chinese tea and luo han guo for guests to drink every day. Basically, I find the staff, from the Front desk staff to the breakfast staff all has a very good service attitude, friendly and helpful. I am fully satisfied with my stay in the hotel.

From booking the hotel to leaving, the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Staff number 19, helped me prepare something special for my partner and went out her way to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it. The room was clean, warm, comfortable and the location was perfect. I will be making frequent visits to Guilin in the near future and it’s easy to say that I wouldn’t stay elsewhere other than here.
