We visited here for drinks with the family and it was just beautiful. We were made so welcome and all the staff were so friendly. The Hotel itself is just beautiful and well worth a visit. My daughter said it was the best moxktail she had ever had.

Situated in the centre of Keswick this hotel ticks all the boxes. Our spacious room was on the top floor with lovely views of the fells over the town roof tops. Comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. All areas to a very high standard; well maintained and clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. Parking at the hotel is limited to only a few spaces and charged at £12 per night but more convenient than the local car parks which probably charge similar. The evening menu sounded tempting but we opted for a couple of local pubs; Bank Tavern and The Pheasant and were not disappointed.

A friend and myself wanted a coffee and then to have lunch in the Inn on the Square today. It certainly wasn't a disappointment. A lovely man called Stoyam greeted us and was the perfect host. We didn't want for anything and the atmosphere was very calm and comfortable. Thankyou to The Inn on the Square and most of all to Stoyam himself. A perfect gentleman.

We both chose Ribeye steaks and we both agreed the quality and taste would take some beating, probably the best tasting steaks we have experienced in a long time. The downside of the experience was that our sides arrived at different times meaning food was getting cold whilst we waited. One of the male waiters was also very rude and his attitude was not what you would expect. He was informed and wasn’t pleased when we highlighted it. We would however return as the food was exceptional.

Fourth stay here ... our second in Town Room 306 (we love this room!). Fab hotel, extremely clean, lovely staff, lovely food (we've previously had evening meals, but just booked in for breakfast this time). Booked into the secure car park for £12 per night. Well worth it. Thanks for looking after us ... hope to see you again very soon!
