Atana Khasab Hotel Reviews

What a stunning, beautiful and gorgeous hotel located right at the top of the mountain, overlooking the turquoise colored sea. The Reception staff was brilliant welcoming us with smiles and went over and above our expectations. Huda and her colleague (sorry I could not capture her name) especially were very professional, helpful and kind. We had booked a 1-bed King bedroom but when they saw us with 2 kids, they very kindly offered us a Twin-room with 2 double beds anticipating our needs for no extra cost. Having travelled across different geographies and countries, we have experienced being ripped off for 1 extra single bed in other hotels with famous brands who are only money-oriented. But this was a one-of-a-kind TRUE Hospitality experience and everything from Reception, to Restaurants, to Bar, to Housekeeping went seamlessly well. We genuinely felt that they were providing services with a TRUE HEART and not just doing as a mechanical daily-routine job. Even my elder 6th grade child spotted the difference and mentioned to me that the hotel people are so nice. In restaurants - Kamran, Thandar and one more of their colleagues were very polite, professional and service-oriented. Liked the food, although there could have been more options on the menu to choose from. Thats the only suggestion I can think of. Breakfast buffet was lavish and offered a lot of options. There's a nice OMAN ADVENTURES CENTRE attached to the hotel that offers adventure packages that include World's longest Guiness world record holding over-water Zipline, speedboats, Dhow cruises, hiking etc. I enjoyed the adventure of doing the record-breaking Zipline. There's a nearby 5-min walkable Bassa beach front too. Lot of sea-shells there :) Everything was perfect and a great memorable trip on our Anniversary Staycation. Will definitely and highly recommend staying here - very conducive for families with children.

Room was well laid out but shower area was very small. Overall room was well laid out.

Quite an old hotel and dark corridors

As I visited the location due to its beautiful scenery and tremendous sea-view rooms, but unfortunately this time management said they couldn't provide the seaview because the hotel is fully booked, so gave us a mountain-view room!! The washroom's bathing corner is usually slow in draining so you have to stand in the water while taking a bath. They need to fix this. Otherwise, calling for water is a huge problem here, you have to call again and again for water bottles as there isn't another way to fulfil that. Overall it's a great place to stay but please communicate better early on in advance.

Ctrip's price is cheaper than other booking software

Splendid Seaview rooms. The hotel is classic but well maintained and clean. Friendly and Accommodating Staff. The hotel has swimming pool (free of charge), padel court and zipline facilities. Thank to Khulod and Huda from reception, Putranfrom housekeeping and Thandra from restaurant.

Spent a weekend at Atana Khasab with group of family & friends. Place is bit old but well maintained and had the best experience. Staff is superb, Service manager Rasheed was amazing, arranged our Dhow cruise, Lunch, etc , his crew of Shihab, Kamran & Thandard took great care of our group. Rooms are very comfy with breathtaking sea view from the balcony. Must go!

This was our second visit to Khasab and we had no hesitation in booking the same incredible property the Atana Khasab. The excellent location of the hotel, the impeccable service, the very clean rooms and access to some incredible adventure tours including the the worlds largest zipline right within the property all make this hotel the number one preferred accommodation in Khasab, often called the Norway of the Middle East due to the stunning fjord like rocky landscape surrounding this incredible island in Oman. Starting from a wholesome breakfast to barbecues and grills, we enjoyed the hospitality at the Atana Khasab led by Manager Rasheed and his staff including the efficient Thandar and the delightful duo of Kamran and Shahid who provided a warm and memorable experience. My husband Dr Sandip and I would definitely want to come back here again.

It was my first time visiting Musandam and staying at Atana Khasab was by far the best choice for me. The staff are extremely friendly. Shout out to Huda (front desk) who was a breath of fresh air. Rasheed is the service manager and WOW! he paid attention to all our needs. I cannot recommend staying at Atana Khasab more. The staff at the restaurant (Thandar, Camran and Shihab) were so hard working and always going the extra mile. I would choose Atana Khasab over Atana Musandam any day. The rooms are lovely and cleans daily. The buffet breakfast is worth it. Free shuttles from airport to Hotel, As well as to the Musandam branch if you want to have lunch there. The zipline experience is on the property. Rooms have wonderful views and I loved my mountain view room.

Superb hotel with the most amazing, hardworking and friendly staff! A special thanks to Kamran, Shihab and Thander. The manager Rasheed and Huda were wonderful and made our stay extra special! The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable with the most spectacular views!

The service provided by the resturant staff is bordering on the unbelievable m The service manager Mr Rasheed Al Balushi and his resturant staff Shihab Kamran and Thandar provide a first class service, nothing is to much trouble and the service is allways given with a smile and a kind word. I cannot wait to return

We had a great time at the hotel which we used as a base to discover Musandam. The super service Manager was Rasheed and he made sure we were looked after by himself and his team Kamran and Shihab. The hotel is in a brilliant position on the the edge of the sea. The rooms are clean and have great sea views. The hotel is tired but we are aware that it will be renovated in the near future. So that’s to Rasheed and his team we had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel & restaurant and very good service reception with Mazher. Fantastic experience during 2 nights. We went to the hotel with 3 kids abd everything was adapted for kids with nice buffet restaurant and small swimming pool for kids
