Spacious room, relaxing hot spring. A fine hot spring hotel with ok location- around 5 mins walk downhill to the downtown.

Great service. They provide shuttle service to the station, ropewalk and Arima town. Unable to order meals at hotel as order need to be confirm during reservation

Pleasant stay with my husband, mum and auntie. Hotel is a little dated but very clean and nice. The staff were very friendly provided great service. There is a shuttle bus to ferry you to the city centre upon request.

Excellent hotel with the pool outside of our rooms, good choice

Hotel is away from the Arima onsen town and has a tranquil environment. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel room which was convenient but the smell of food does li get in the room li get than preferred . The half board package is good value compared to other ryokansbij the arima onsen area. There are two onsens but they are bit dated and eacn quite small. It wasn’t clear until I asked at checkout the bigger pool in each of the two onsens is normal bath water and only the smaller “Gin” onsen is not spring water.

Simply such a blessing experience. Didn’t come to my head will have staff speaking Mandarin, location is a bit of a trouble if carrying big luggages, they offer pick up service at limited time. Almost no taxi at sight if arriving after 8 at night, can walk but very tiring, not recommended at all. Breakfast is traditional Japanese style, have a souvenir shop in the lobby, vending machine outside, main door will be closed at night, have to contact staff if wanting to go out real late. The tea provided is such a satisfaction, even the tea bag in room is good. Water in room is HOT for people loves a hot bath after all the sightseeing and daily life.

Extremely enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend.

Arima Onsen Motoyu Kosenkaku is located on a hill, with a quiet and pleasant environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hot spring facilities are spacious and clean, with excellent water quality. You can feel full of relaxation and healing when bathing. The room retains the traditional Japanese style, the space is spacious and comfortable, and it is very pleasant to live in. The overall accommodation experience was very good, except that the hotel does not provide breakfast and dinner. Although this was clearly stated when booking, I still feel that it would be a more complete experience if guests could book meals. Overall, this is a very worthwhile choice in Arima Onsen and is recommended for travelers who like traditional Japanese accommodation and a quiet environment!

Room: We booked a suite that can accommodate 4-6 people. The room is a traditional Japanese hotel with a small courtyard. The scenery is very nice. There is a maple tree outside the window. It is estimated that it will be very beautiful in autumn. Hot Spring ♨️: We arrived at the hotel late, so we only took a bath in the indoor gold and silver baths. Although the pool is not big, it is natural. Service: The hotel's pick-up phone number at night could not be reached at all. We walked from the subway station by ourselves, which was still very tiring. It was always uphill. This deserves a bad review!

The hotel has a car to pick up at the station. The room is large and has a light woody fragrance. The two hot springs are open until late and you can soak at any time. I personally prefer the octagonal pavilion. The dinner and breakfast are very rich and taste great. Finally, I had a lemon ice cream to relieve the greasiness.

The lobby is bright when you enter the hotel, but the corridor to the room is a bit dark and old. The room is a traditional tatami, and the four rooms are spacious and clean. The hot spring is recommended to be the golden hot spring pool in the octagonal pavilion, which is almost outdoor. The pools in the Furo hot spring are a bit small, and it is really embarrassing when there are many people. It's not bad to experience it.
